I like the body style and notch of the Stylo 6 better. But the software, RAM, Moto actions, and SD processor of the Moto is far superior.

My Moto g stylus likes to freeze up as good bit.🙄
I prefer moto g stylus,you pay a little more but you get more performance,better camera and better software support,I dont think the lg stylo 6 will get a lot of updates,lg has been very bad with updates
Edit:both are bad with updates but lg has been very bad since the v20 when they took a whole year to update it to android 9
Motorola is not great with updates either. Overall the Moto G Stylus is a superior phone. It's really time to start putting wireless charging in phones at $300.00 price point.

Moto G Stylus also has 18w Fast Charging. 15 minutes gets you 15 hours of battery life!
Have stylo 5 still learning how to use it

@taxation is theft memes news & more NFC is the only reason I am using the Stylo 6 instead of the Moto Stylus. I use Android pay for everything. Gotta have it.

Love your review/comparison Stylo err Stylus umm I mean style Kevin LOL! As for which, I'd definitely opt for Moto G Stylus with its preferred chipset, extra gig of ram, and double onboard storage. Size is right and lacking NFC isn't a concern.
The 3gb of ram that the Stylo 6 is offering is the biggest deal breaker for me

Thank you for the comparison! I recently bought the Motorola g stylus for 150 with new Sprint activation and I really like it but the only thing is that the pen is just an extension of your finger. In fact if your palm touches the display it messes u up. The lgs stylus pen is not like that. It's similar to the note. Still happy though. 😊

Hey by n e chance do you know if you can move apps on the LG Stylo 6 to the memory card?? You could do it on the Stylo 4 but I "upgraded" to the 5 and you can't put apps on the memory card. Only pics and videos kinda sucks when it can handle a terabyte card but only for videos and pics. If that's the case then I'm really leaning to the motorola

I think I good way to get a photo on ultra wide with the Motog stylus is the to record a video then take a screenshot of the part of the video that u want to be a photo
i remember finding this channel while looking for budget phones and I ended up getting the moto g stylus. amazing phone, especially at the low price I got it at
There are some people in the market for a smartphone with a stylus (like me). Too little was said about it. Not only is nub of the Stylo stylus bigger (a hindrance), but it is spring loaded (springs break). Is there a difference in time lag when using it? What is the difference with the software that comes with each device? What is NFC and why should it matter? The size of the LG phone could be too big. Camera performance and music/sound differences? ....Your review is helpful, but all the numbers, and the time spent on them, just wash over after a while.
Moto g stylus and Stylo 6 are both good budget phones ! Great vid.

If you want unlocked(meaning it works with all carriers) then go on amazon for $270 or get the g power on amazon for $220 which is the same as g stylus except 64 gb storage, no stylus, 5000mah battery instead of 4000 and wide camera takes photos too instead of just video

I brought the moto g stylus two days ago from metro by t-mobile and I absolutely love the phone. I got 2 updates since I had the phone. I have the September 1st security patch update and also I did some research and the moto g stylus is suppose to get android 11 in 2021.
The Moto I already know before the video would perform better. But the Stylo 6 will work well. I had a 5 and it did most things I needed fine. Except high graphic intense games. I love the redesign and taller thinner looks as well!
Only thing that stops me from getting the Moto is it doesn’t support NFC. That’s a must have feature for me do to some business I do... other than that it’s perfect.
Do they take the same size touch pen?

I am very pleased with the stylo 6. I don't play games in it. Gaming would probably be better on the Moto. But I like the screen much better with the stylo.
I know I'm late, but I just picked up a 1 month old Stylo 6 for 80 dollars. Lady literally sold it to me the day her initial 30 day service was over.
I was going to flip it for 160, but after using it for a couple days I believe I'm going to keep it. Best 80 bucks I ever spent on tech. ☺️

NFC is a hardware feature
If you have not buy it yet, go for the international version, Moto G Pro. It has NFC and Face unlock.

Why does it seem like to have NFC its a big tradeoff for hardware..
I just got the stylo 6 today n I'm regretting upgrading my phone to that. It feels more like a downgrade if u ask me. Ima see if I can get the moto G cuz that is way better than what I have now. Thx for the review.
My Stylo 6 has 4 gig ram... I got mine at US Cellular as a replacement for my note 20 ultra until my replacement note comes in I busted it at work
The LG Stylo 6 has much more customized software for drawing, art, coloring. Just FYI.

Was considering the Stylo 6 for a bit, was on Boost Mobile and previously had a Moto E5 Play (piece of shit) and a Samsung Galaxy A10E, switched to Metro and got a Moto G Stylus yesterday, best decision ever, much better coverage and specs are out of this world ! Seeing it online and in store blew me away

the sylo series software always seems so laggy and choppy..... You'll notice if you ever had a smooth operating device💯💯💯

Every other review says that the Stylo does not have NFC.
I know the stylus falling out if the phone is dropped is a pain.. My Stylo 4's stylus dropped out a bunch of times..I ended up purchasing another.. glad that will stop with Stylo 6

Yeah, I would go with the Motorola G stylus
You can't compare how quickly websites load between devices unless you are loading from a local server - there are an endless number of reasons Device A might take 2 seconds to load a remote website while Device B takes 3 seconds to load the same that have nothing to do with either device - It's the nature of the Internet.
I would pick Moto g stylus

im looking for what lg stylo can do better. because i got the moto stylus but it hangs.
I ordered a new style 06 but then I found out they took a couple features off like Qslide and a couple other features that I enjoy so now I just might keep my Stylo 4 cuz I do enjoy it and sell my new one I suppose I would enjoy the upgrade of the phone triple camera and the size of the screen but I got to have this qslide features and the Stylo 6 from what I've been told does not have that feature

I had the original LG Stylo. Great phone. I would prefer the LG since it has NFC.

Eh. Been a big fan of Lg phones for a while now. I think that while the Stylo 6 is slower? It offers a better experience in general. Moto phones seem to just not last as long.

I would choose the stylo 6 just because of the screen, I'm not big on games or taking pictures anyways.
I ordered one but then I found out they took the qslide feature off of it and they also took a couple other things that I enjoy off the phone now I may just keep my Stylo 4 and sell my new one

in all honesty I had a choice eather the stylo 6 or the Moto I was okay I'm gunna go with the Moto even tho I use nfc a lot I don't mind not having it I guess but wow the camera on this Moto is perfect for what category its going for / in I was so surprise by how nice and clear and not wash out or having a blue tint to it he's right if you dont mind not having nfc go with the Moto the screen it just bright and the lcd its really good and the low light shots are really good outdoors indoor its a hit or miss but go for the Moto you wont regret it I haven't the lg yeah its good but the camera are here or their yeah the screens big but dim Motorola hit out the park with one and the stylus its made of metal and feels great just to hold and for the lost of nfc that 128gb storage its just great hands down I give it to Motorola they finally going back to their rots with budget smart phones p.s it has dual speaker's which makes listening to anything just wow great and I used the note 10 11 pro google pixel 4 I heard all their speakers and the Moto can surly sit right along Side them for the speaker quality.

No NFC is a deal breaker. Most vending machines in our area accept Google pay and Apple pay.
The only thing I don't like about the mid-range Moto phones is that they don't come with a stock gallery they only use Google photos as a base gallery and it's annoying and a deal breaker for me. I hate my Moto g7 play it's so slow and laggy😫!!!
My carrier T mobile didn’t have Moto g so the worker told me about LGstylo
Good video 👍....it was funny when he said this is all the benefits of Moto G stylus ....better processor...double the storage ...more ram...bigger battery...better cameras...better screen .....etc....what else is there that the Motorola doesn't have over the LG ....he just named everything about the phone ....
A few things (which I mentioned in the video): No NFC, no ability to take photos with the ultra wide camera, no pop out ejection for the stylus, and a smaller display.
@@KevinBreezeagree... yes you did ....but these are hardly enough to rate the LG over the Motorola...for most people ....you did a good job and I know this video was not an easy video to do ... because the Motorola was so much better then the LG...and had to find something with the LG that the average consumer might like ...no matter how small....

Just had to purchase 2 Stylo 6's for the wife and I because our Moto G7 phones both at the same time had BATTERY SWELLING issues.

Only thing LG Stylus has going for it is a bigger screen (6.8 vs 6.4).

No mention of the screen brightness was made, surprisingly. The Stylo 6 screen is much dimmer that the Moto. Other reviewers on YT have made mention of that.
I have the 5 and the display is excellent. I also have the Moto g and I like the 5 display better.
He did mention screens. He said the moto was brighter and little more vibrant
Idk yet bout stylo 6 but moto g is a beast runs pubg no skips no crashing full hd 60fps. And it plays fortnite . and the music bumps

And Moto G is double the price. If not more. Buy a LG thats a extra 100 plus dollars and it'll be better all around too. When you can buy 2 LG for same cost as 1 Moto g they should not be compared. With that in mind you get way more for your money buying the LG. And the storage on the LG for SD holds 2 TB to the 1TB with Moto G so you can make yo for lost storage.

Motorola phone is overpriced for what it is ....if I had between $200-$300 to spend on a phone and wanted to stay on the Android in side ....the easy choice would be the Samsung Galaxy S9 plus unlocked from Amazon...running Android 10 with a warranty....picked one up for $270 unlocked .....it's better then both of these phones combined

@@marconyewtv4477 The average non-gaming phone user won't notice the performance difference. Some people just want a giant screen for watching movies on and for browsing through their Instagram. The Stylo 6 is perfect for them. That being said, my galaxy S8 has better performance than both of these phones combined as well. & I only paid $150 for it.
LG has had 6 years to make these phones better but it only took Motorola one year to release a better stylist phone. I hope that Motorola keeps making these Stylo devices. After buying this one I definitely would buy a G Stylo 2 from them.
for speed tests you need to try more than 2 applications, not just opening websites... at least open few different basic apps like youtube, instagram, ESPN, pornhub and maybe a game... you know - the basics
