@@mollies13 I honestly prefer to sacrifice a bit of battery life for better video quality. Plus that it still lasts much longer than the battery on the iPhone. I'm not going to be left behind with video quality just because Apple puts toy batteries in their phones. Have you ever seen the display on a Samsung? At them you can buy the cheapest phone and still get a super Amoled display.

The LG is damn laggy compared to the iphone SE 2020. I just checked both out and ended up going from my iphone 7 to the SE. The LG has a nice screen and looks nice but the CPU is weak. I prefer a strong CPU and quality over the quantity.

I've never been a iPhone person or a Samsung just not impressed by their phones but anyway I've had my LG stylo 6 for 2 weeks know and its the greatest phone I ever had and I had the LG G8 which was a $800 dollar phone and my stylo is 100 times better than that one so I made a great upgrade good job LG

I own a Stylo 6, i got it at $149 on Cricket,one quick fact for the Android haters(I got 2T of external memory in a MicroSD card)
It seems like every 2 years they change the Stylo. So I'm going with that pattern. I have the 4 and now the 6 is on the way

lg stylo 6 im watching this with it im switching to iphone the battery is great and the screen is big but the typing on this sucks the phone is slow and lg sofware is crap
I gave my daughter my iPhone XR and I went out and got the Stylo 6.. I regret it, of course I'm not going to take my daughter's iPhone back so I'm thinking about the iPhone SE because now I can't afford a more expensive iPhone. I hate typing or speech text on the Stylo 6 I hate it. As I'm doing speech text right now for this comment it's taking me forever.. I absolutely had no problems calling people on my Iphone XR, on the Stylo 6 it drops my calls it just dropped it a few hours ago with my doctor. I absolutely agree this phone is just way too slow

@DTrey FloatGoat Well the LG Stylo 6 it’s absolutely perfect for watching videos. That’s The reason I got it, but I gave it to my son and he plays roblox and it’s kind of slow on certain ones that he does. But if you’re going to watch videos I absolutely recommend it, but you will get frustrated how slow it is to text sometimes it’s just laggy sometimes I guess what I’m trying to say. I paid $140 for my Stylo, So if you can find it in that price range I think you will like it, anything higher than 140 no don’t do it. I got It from cricket wireless I know they have it for $140, But if you get a new account with them like bringing a new number with them then it’s free.
Software updates matter. iPhone SE 2 will have a MUCH higher resale value due the Apple brand and many years of software support. Which kills your argument about getting bored and having to stick with the iPhone. Sell or trade in for your upgrade.
Totally agree with you. I’ve always liked iPhones better than Android anyway bc the OS is much better. Android tends to lag and freeze on me. Very irritating if you are doing something important. IOS is almost flawless in my personal experience.
So my parents don't really have much money I can't get a phone but thanks to my sis I can get my first phone

I use my stylus all the time on my lg stylo 3 plus, i cannot wait to get my lg stylo 6 on metro.
I think it would be cool if the next SE design uses IPhone 8+ hardware. It still has the original features with a bigger display and 2 cameras.
They actually might use the 8 Plus for the next SE (Generation 3). Or it’s possible they could use the XR or iPhone 11 design without a notch and just a pin hole which I would totally go for. But right now I do have the SE 2 and I do like it a lot. It’s just Apples OS is top notch and I’ve had Android and they freeze up and lag sometimes and you have to re-download apps. Never had that problem with an iPhone. They are solid performance and the video quality on SE is really awesome for one camera, photos are amazing too bc of the A13 Bionic chip. 3GB ram on Apple is very powerful compared to 3GB ram on Android. Battery isn’t good on SE but I tweaked the settings to turn off stuff and get an hour more.

I've had this stylo 4 for so long and I'm getting the iphone se for $100! The stylo 4 gave me so many problems with it freezing and me having to restart it all the time. I can't wait
I completely agree. Just ordered my iPhone SE yesterday. I haven't had an iPhone since the 4s. I've missed the polished feel of iOS. Can't wait till it gets here!!

Already without watching the video no way the se is losing and I'm an android head I owned the old se and the camera was so good watching from a note 8 and stil havent upgraded note 8 is close to 150 and up online ebay amazon ect
I personally couldn't recommend the SE over other 2020 $200-$500 phones.
So I got I got a stylo 6 ..there’s a issue with the finger print sensor,got me a iPhone se hands down iPhone se better

Well I like My LG Stylo 5 And I never Got The LG Stylo 4.
Performance will go to the iPhone with that A13 chip and camera is amazing. The Stylo is a more nicer phone. The Stylo has some nicer features, the screen size and battery. I still have to give it to the iPhone. I would pick the Stylo over the iPhone.
Yeah Iphone does do a good job with optimistizing their apps that low ram and battery is different than Android for some reason.
I'm sorry but I wouldnt pay $399 for an iphone that looks like it was made like 5 years ago .-. i dont why ppl complain about an android having bezels but yet they're ok with iphones having it?????

Black Cash I use to say it's trash too but it's not only thing I can say is they are behind on certain feature then android and most apps you have to buy or have a subscription. But I have gotten use to Apple since I have had the iPhone vr for a year. But I have both Android and iPhone.

I said it before but if you get a 64GB phone for the updates, you better have a roadmap ahead on when you want to reset the damn thing, because no amount of optimization will work with that tiny bit of overhead. It'd be like trying to stack more and more insulation into one of those haulable tiny houses every year, no disrespect to tiny house owners, you can actually make something more out of that tiny space than you can with a 64GB onboard storage with five years of updates...

I wouldn't be surprised if this particular Stylo gets at least one OS upgrade (to Android 11). As well as at least 2 years of security updates. Not bad considering some of us paid less than $150 for the phone through Boost Mobile.

The camera comparison should have also compared the time to take a photo. I have a relative that has the Stylo 6 and there is a big delay on the time it takes to show the picture after you click the button.
I started "pocket" computing with the US Robotics Palm "Pilot 5000" (PDA), Then "they" married the Palm Pilot with a cellphone to make the Palm Treo 180 (This was a HALF DECADE BEFORE the iPhone!). For us "old guys" the stylus is REQUIRED equipment! 👍😊👍

and the lg does go brighter when outside.. for some reason it has a throttle when inside

I cant decide, I want the SE but the battery is weak and they just ran out of the 64GB (only one I can afford). I cant wait anymore, I'm going back to work next week. Should I just wait or get the stylo 6 now, I'm really sick of waiting
If you need the phone right now, and you're on a tight budget, then the Stylo 6 seems like a good bet. But if you really want an iPhone, then you'll probably have to wait

@@lirrprodigy2810 if you can find one look for lg g7 fit Thats just 199.99 sale and it cost $429.99 but the processor you get is better for photo video and gaming multitasking is better smoother but only has 32gb of storage.
Srylo 6 is not gonna be that bright forcsummer but if you can see it fine. Its still not as bright same dim level as my lg stylo 4+ making me use all my battery for setting at the maximum brightness during hiking or whatever.

No 4k60fps 1080 60fps. Note the orocessor in 6 is a lack recording chipset over a13 and snapdragon 855.
This mean 1080 look worst still as my stylo 4.

I've had the Stylo 6 since January, and I really like it...mostly because of the screen size and the stylus. I just dropped it in water a couple days ago though, and now it's not working. So, I'm debating over whether to get the IPhone SE on sale for $49, or another Stylo 6 which will probably cost more. I'm thinking it may still be worth it though. The only pros about the SE are the speed and the camera, to me.

I'd take the bigger screen over the iPhone. Even though I know the iPhone will blow it away in everything. The Stylo can do most tasks, and take decent pics and videos.

If you like compact and fast with a great operating system, go for the SE. I personally love it but then again I had a 6s before. Never had a 6” screen. I also love video recording and pics on the SE. I got mine for under $300 so I can’t complain. It’s really not a bad phone at all. My next phone will be the 12 mini. It’s perfect imho.
Lol I love these videos. I'm wondering why my LG g8x doesn't have that weather widget! The old lg widgets are so ugly,I never wanna use them. That being said,if I was looking for a phone in this range I'd choose the Stylo 6 or moto g power no doubt.

I just literally went from a stylo 6 to a iPhone SE yesterday. It was like finding a path out of hell. Put it this way, the cell phone buy back station in the store.. will give me up to $25.00 for a phone that is less than 8 months old. The stylo 6 is complete trash. The camera is terrible, both front and back, and there’s a no option soft filter on the photos, every selfie looks like glam shots by deb. iPhone SE’s cameras blow this out of the water, crisp detailed photos.. and as you showed.. performance isn’t even close between these two. Screw the bigger screen, when you have to force restart your phone on simple games freezing.. when your finger print reader stops working off and on.. when you get random notifications but yet when you go to check it (because it doesn’t have a light up option) there is nothing there notifying you... then you’ll realize the screen size shouldn’t even be a factor between these two phones. In all honesty, the whole time I had the stylo 6... like 7 months. I had to use my old iPhone 8 for any game I wanted to play or picture I wanted to take.
People always make fun of iPhones price when you do the iPhone vs Android debate... but in reality, I’ve only seen comparable androids in the 1000-1500 range.. and that’s to this 399.00 iPhone SE.

I don't "get" where having a glass back is somehow is "better" than a plastic back. I would NEVER not have my phone in a case. Who gives a "rat's ass" how the back looks or what it is made of,LOL.
It uses the iPhone 8's camera. Not the iPhone 11

I have both of the phones and the styli 6 is a big phone and with a screen saver and a case it’s heavy the only thing that I like about the style 6 is that I can be on Twitter and CZcams at the same time if the SE has this feature I haven’t found how to do it yet I like the SE better
I like big screen phones but I think they’re getting ridiculous at this point.

Enjoy your videos Kevin! I was wondering if you would compare the Stylo 6 to the Alcatel 3V 6.7in screen. I had the Stylo 2 since 2017 & loved that phone but dropped it & cracked the screen. So last November I went to my local Boost store & got the Samsung A10e but after 1 month & watching your reviews I switched to Metro for the Alcatel. Much Much larger screen but the Samsung had better picture quality. Now I was paying $60 a month for Boost & the same for Metro. Metro had 15 gigs hot & Boost had 30. Like the more hotspot with boost plus boost gave you HD but metro gave 480 with there hotspot. After 2 months with metro & not happy I went to Visible. I'm happy! Now I just want an inexpensive larger phone. I have the Zte a7 prime that was free with my old Stylo 2. Maybe the Stlyo 6 will make it over to Visible but would like to see a side by side comparison of the Alcatel 3 V & Stylo 6. Thanks for the reviews! You've helped me out alot!
Thanks Kevin, I really enjoy your videos. Personally, I would prefer the stylo 6 (which I will be recipients shortly). I've had the Stylos 3 & 4 (much prefer the 3). And I currently have the Samsung A10e ( which I am keeping as a backup in case I lose or have insurmountable problems with the Stylo 6. I can't afford to keep getting a new one.) One thing I hope you address In your reviews is how durable the phones are, how well the features hold up over time and talk about what issues may crop up over time. Most of the people I know can't afford to keep getting new phones. So hearing which phones you feel would be better over the long haul would be nice. Again, thank you, and I look forward to future videos.

A lot of people think that the A13 Bionic in this phone is at the same clock speed as the iPhone 11. It's not and it's under clocked a lot to make the battery more efficient. Because they gave you "such a powerful chip" inside your phone.

It is. They are both same 2.65ghz clock that is fast to play fortnite that mean its speed is very close to that iphone.
Also heat no dude when my phone is heating put the phone next to a blowing fan and your feel the phone starting to cool off which is amazing while gaming.
Never had problem with pubg and kartrider
Ram isnt what speed counts so dont count that in.
Also dude lg atylo 6 is set as 2.30ghz with a cheap chipset.
It is fast but when you compare to lg g7 fit that snapdragon 821 with 2.35ghz then it is 5x faster also will take better photo over lg stylo 6.

I mean, I wouldn't say that the Iphone SE is *way* faster, it's just about a second faster which isn't a big deal at all. There's *barely* a difference when it comes to speed between the LG Stylo 6 and the Iphone SE....Not unless someone just doesn't want to wait that one extra second for content to pop up. And.....-in my opinion- when it comes to protection you're going to wanna have that plastic back rather than the glass back if anyone was ever to drop their phone. With plastic, the damage will be *half* as bad but with glass the back will shatter. (if you just got your phone and didn't have a case for it of course).

Depends on what you do. If you play Subway Surfers, Candy crush, or simple games you'd be fine. But Minecraft is pretty laggy, as well as all racing games.
Dual Apps depends on the apps. Chrome and CZcams pair great. Bubble Witch and Twitch together isn't very good.
If you're someone who only uses basic apps and mobile games, as well as music and movies go for it. Any intense gaming or anything hard on the processor, will slow to phone noticeably.
Minecraft Is Not To Laggy on My LG Stylo 5. The Mediatek Processor on the LG Stylo 6 might Be worse in some Games.

If you buy the iphone se from walmart you can get it for 150 thrpugh walmarts strait talk wireless and to me thats the best deal for this phone

iPhone, faster, more powerful processing, way better camera, better security, better build quality, water and dust protection, much more premium device.
I don’t mind that the IPhone SE is smaller. I got a nice case for it that makes it feel slightly bigger. I like the bright color on the iPhone SE. I also like the camera much better. The camera picks up more detail then theLG Stylo six.

I got stylo 6 for free when switched to metro
I bought the Stylo 6 yesterday for 160 bucks at US Cellular I got it on their unlimited prepaid plan. I like it honestly I hated Stylo phones for the longest time because I'm straight Samsung flagships IV always had the top dog Samsung Galaxy phone. But... Since coronavirus came hours at work have been cut in half n more. And my S20 plus got busted at work I dropped it n one of our dairy cows stepped on it crushing the display sadly lol. I have a S10 plus 1terabyte edition and a note 10 plus 5g but I can't get them to work on us Cellular I mean they do but can't get 4glte on with them. So instead of going without a phone I decided to just get a new phone for the meantime and as a backup for us Cellular. So I got this one the Stylo 6 it's real nice for what it is. I got the blue white color one that resembles the S10 plus that is that white blue glow color. Almost like my note 10 plus. And it's solid built feels premium has weight to it. The display is big and it's at least in 1080p whish it was 1440 but it's ok. Speed wise it isn't slow it actually is kinda quick its definitely faster then the Stylo 4 and 5 which are basically the same phone I don't get why LG done that BS but they did lol. And as for ram my Stylo 6 isn't 3 gig it says 4gig ram in my system memory it says I have 3.9 gig available.... So maybe some come with 3 gig n others 4gig... But mine is 110% has 4 gig of ram..

This is a personal beef: I hate notches, PERIOD. Ironically the little Apple (Apple started this BS!!!) phone doesn't' have this "feature"! I just got the Stylo 6, So there's that, But I'd have "put up with" a few millimeters of "bezel" just so I don't have to look at that friggin "notch".
My new SE freezes three times a day, therefore making it hard to recommend.
Its call luck to whoever got there phone. Like my motorola one action. Seen best buy review one star saying motorola is freezing like 3 or more review but mine still works after 6 momths of hard use.
So not all iphone gonnna do that but some will. Like picky the right box.
@@mollies13 I have the Motorola one action it's a decent device not the best but for sub 400 bucks and Android 10 it's pretty good
I say Iphone Se even tho the lightning port is a huge pain, but Id just have the iphone se and then the moto g power just for endurance

Yes unlocked version not the carrier versions at least not the american carrier versions.
Stylos are junk. I had the 4th version and the battery died at 5 hours usage every single time even if I didn't even touch the thing. Ruined the experience for me. I'll take a motorola any day.
They do give u same size I phone as lg stylo... it's called I phone 11 pro max🤣
This may sound crazy but in reality the SE is better and I'm an Android user lol I wouldn't give up my current phone for it tho not a chance
