I work at Cricket Wireless part time and I always recommend the Moto G7 over the Stylo 5 simply cause of the battery and software. LG software is pretty bad.
Would you recommend the G7 over the Nokia for best camera?
I agree. Moto g7 is way better than LG. The only thing I wish Moto provides Back button on side of side in menu and let user choose to make menu visible all the time.

I had the stylo 5 and recently upgraded to the moto g stylus 2021. The moto is better in some areas e.g. camera, display, sound. My stylo definitely had a better battery life and charged waaaay faster. Stylo also had better stylus features. If that stylo 7 ever comes out I'll probably switch back.
Whi do you think Moto g stylus has better display 🙂?
I now have had both for a 3 weeks. I like the LG better. The wider screen is much better for viewing and less eye fatique.

I have the Moto g stylus I usually charge it daily at night. (It's usually at ~30% by then. For example, I'm at 77% battery today with a little less than 3 hours screen on time) so, I would say around a day and a half for a moderate user and two days, if your a light user. If you want a true two day battery phone get the Moto g power. That phone has a 25% bigger battery than the stylus, so it should last for two days comfortably.
I have had a Stylo 2. 3. And 4. Loved it. Just got the Moto G stylus. I don't like that there's not double screen.... But the audio on this Moto g is out of this world surround sound ! And the cameras are WAY better quality.
I have the Samsung A71 in my Amazon shopping cart, and planned on purchasing pretty soon, But now I'm thinking I might want to go with the g stylus. I have a Moto e6 right now, and it's been good to me.

Well neither one will win any style awards, but you can write with them, so I guess that's something. I thought the Motorola would have a better looking pen though.
You're talking mid range vs high end, but the Infinix Note Series of phones have a pen called the "XPen" which is very similar to the "SPen" pen on the Galaxy note Series. Again mind you this is a $300 and $150 dollars phone compared to a $1000+ phone. Of course it's going to be different. Like comparing apples to oranges.
I'm real interested in the action cam. Can you review it with a chest mount vs a GoPro, please? Can the action cam be used while the phone is horizontal like it would be with a chest mount?

From experience, yes if using it with Google Keyboard. I have both phones.
I just got the stylus direct from Motorola some observations
1? The stylus has 109gb of usable storage
2. The stylus has better feel to me compared to the LG stylus I prefer the weight because the LG feels more flimsy to me
,3. The stylus has a has a better camera setup IMHO
,4. Android 10

6.Stylo 5 is basically Stylo 4
with Android 9
7.ii miss the soft buttons on the previous gen G7 from moto
8. I got the stylus at 4pm Pacific time it had less than 56% battery out of the box. In heavy usage it ran out about 6 hours later. The stylus was last fully charged 2 hours after plugging it in

Overall I knew what I was getting into and am pleased by the g stylus. My last phone was the G7 64gb

I think the Moto G Stylus is head and shoulders above the Stylo 5. Way better all-around specs and a more modern look. I would have liked to have seen a stronger processor in it though. $300 is a lot of pay for the relatively average SN 665.
I have both, Metro just got the G and I got it free by porting from Cricket. I prefer the 6.2 display size of the LG along with its screen. I find it easier on the eyes than the narrow look of the G. LG makes the clearest screens out there.
The speakers on the G blow by the 5 away, dual speaker than have bass. Excellent.
I actually Prefer The Moto G Stylus Screen Because You can fit more on a page so you don't have to scroll as much and it won't really Strain my eyes because I have good eyesight.
I would of thought with a comparison between stylus based phones, you would of done more to compare the two stylus functions, more than "this one feels better". I know you may not be an artist, but a sketch comparison might be nice, and while I know these aren't pressure sensitive, but is there any simulation of pressure sensitivity?

My iphone 6 broke. Target had the moto g stylus on sale for 200$ don't regret buying it at all. Lovely phone.

It crushes that chip in every way. I got my v30 for $69 so it would basically be a downgrade for me either way but still cool. The v30 is only a secondary phone but I'm interested in what my actual new phone will be in like 2022

You and I both, I HATE IT! Tall and narrow is not my favorite
That's why I love my Stylo 5 6.2 which is wide. Much better for reading.
However the Moto G Stylus is nowhere near as tall and narrow as the LG Stylo 6 and compared to the LG Stylo 5 is not a huge difference in how tall and narrow it is and when I get the phone it won't be hard for me to get used to the Moto G Stylus's Aspect Ratio.

I have yet to meet anyone who uses their phone for more than mundane shit such as posting photos on IG, posting to Twitter, tañking on Whatsapp...shit like that. Gamers must be the ones who need ultra fast processors.

I think that the g stylus is only a little bit higher than the stylo 5. I have had my stylo 5 for a year now, and i have had no problems. I have never had a slow down. The stylo 5 may have only 32 gb of storage, but it has something called smart cleaning. It deletes everything that is taking up space in your phone. It does not delete any personal information. The smart cleaning also clears your memory. It deletes anything that you dont need. The smart cleaning really helps.
You Have Not Even Tried The Moto G Stylus Yet You Will Definitely Change your mind When You try The Moto G Stylus.

I have the Stylo 5 and have had it for a few months now. Before that I had the Note 9. I freaking hate my Stylo 5 for multiple reasons. My note 9 is locked and still carried with me daily because of my issues with my stylo 5.
I really bad experiences with LG phones. Theres one time I buy a $220 LG and a $90 Samsung and I make a few comparisons with them and pictures with Samsung video quality and sound recording was way better with Samsung. I will never buy another LG. After 3 cheap LG phones I have had in total

Good comparison, I had a Stylo 4, but went Moto G Stylus, I also have a Galaxy Note 10 Lite, even with that phone being better spec wise, I like the Moto G Stylus. I do hope to see what LG would do with a Stylo 6, as I didn't get the 5 to test as I felt it wasn't a big difference. Great comparison video.
I brought the metro by t-mobile version about 2 weeks ago and absolutely love it. I use the stylus more then I thought. The display is great, it's fast and snappy. Also the battery life is awesome. It has dual speakers and it sounds great when watching videos. I also love the cameras that it has 4k. The only thing I don't like is that you can't move apps to the SD card, but that's okay because you get 128gb of space which is over enough. Also you can expand the storage by putting in a SD card for pictures and music. I brought the LG stylo 5 when it came out and I was very disappointed. After you update the apps like youtube, google, the metro by t-mobile apps and just the bloatware apps you only have 16gb of space to use. I still have the LG stylo around somewhere. Horrible phone. The LG stylo 6 seems like it will be the same as the LG stylo 5. I refused to buy it after the what happened to the LG stylo 5.

I have a Samsung A50 and really like it. Only cost me 300 dollars and does everything the 1000 dollar phones do.

I used LG Stylo 4 in past the camera was very bad.
I LIKE AND ENJOY THE MOTO G STYLUS BETTER AND I WOULD PERFER IT WAY MORE THEN THE LG STYLO 5 I PERFER IT FOR TONS OF REASONS IS WHY IT IS MY FAVORITE COMPARED TO THE STYLO 5
LG always scrimps on their budget phones. Lg has great software and hardware,,,but they seem to think pretty vs quality in their budget phones . I have the original Stylo. Great looking phone, but like 8 gigs of rom and a gig and a half ram. Was always telling me I was out of storage.
Moto has its cheap outs too. But these are budget oriented. Good review.
Got my v30 for $69 for a test. It got burn in but good deal for a very powerful gaming phone on the cheap

Audio output from 3.5 mm Jack is better from the Stylo 5 however. MUST use Stylo 5 with Moto audio by Dolby Sound enhanced, SET TO MUSIC MODE - SURROUND VISUALIZER, on for MODEST volume level output!!. Anything else n it's not acceptable!!! Might be a Motorola phone problem, not with Samsung, Apple, n LG phone s at least from what I can tell
You have a faulty Moto G Stylus might be a faulty headphone jack or faulty headphones it is probably the truth. And it might Be a faulty Phone Problem if it is Get a repair for the Headphone Jack And Replace it is that easy.
The Moto G Stylus I am Pretty Sure Has Better Audio From The Headphone Jack Because It is Dolby and Dolby Is known for good loud Sound Quality.
lg really shit the bed with there stylo line after 2.i bought the first one and 2 one.then i moved up to the 4.its just pitiful how they *upgrade* these phone lines.

I v been using moto g series phone s for 5 years, my only problem is the fact the phone sometimes dont recognise the sd card when it restart. Last year i got 3 sd cards, this year already one sd cared. I will be moving to a different phone brand

If you're going to review a phone with a stylus, then you should spend more than 2 seconds using it, and actually show how well it works and compare the two. Most people who are buying these phones are buying it because of the stylus - and you literally didn't even show or explain how well it works, does it have palm rejection, is it laggy, etc -- you know all the stuff that people who want a phone with a stylus would want to know.

It's not! The performance on the Samsung is slightly better and the screen on the Samsung puts the Motorola to shame. But the Motorola has a longer lasting battery.
