I'll choose the Motorola because of the storage and I like the smoothness of the operations of the phone. I had the stylo 6 and it was just slow to me so I sold it.
The stylo 6 i have i thoight was broken from the start the operating system is very slow and choppy even compared to my old moto g7 supra with a cracked screen! lmfao
I think the LG Stylo 6 had a media tech processor I'm not sure if it had a Snapdragon series chipset in it but I had the LG Stylo 6 and it was slow as a matter of fact to the point that I had to go in the developer options and change the window animation to 0.05 because it was so slow the problem with LG phones in general is their skin if the LG Stylo 6 had a Android scan like the Motorola phone it would operate a lot faster and I wasn't a big fan of the LG Stylo 6 camera it takes pretty decent photos up close but for some reason the processor or how it processes photos wasn't up to far with the Motorola phone
Sorry to hear that LG is out of the smartphone business. The dual speakers is a feature that I really like on my Stylo 6. That one feature might make me hesitate if considering a switch.

Good phone but why did Motorola take away the dual stereo speakers and action camera view is my question 🤔. Plus no NFC. When upgrading its about adding more not subtracting features imo.
Its making it really hard for me to want to upgrade. My moto g broke so my insurance is reimbursing me. Thought I'd upgrade but the speakers were one of the best features
I know, it is like I am some kind of dinosaur when I request a phone with dual speakers. The first smart phone I bought was an Alcatel with dual Altec-Lansing speakers and it sounded amazing.
Go to Walmart & buy a stylo or whatever you need for your preference. Of course, they dont have every phone, but there is wide range of smartphones to choose from. I would expect them to have this Motorola. I got a Stylo 6 for $167!!!! Dont buy a phone from your mobile service, unless you cant find it anywhere for less expensive. I know, I hate Walmart too, since they hurt small business. Spending more than $500 or more for a phone is crazy to me.
Me too except the glass screen just isn't strong enough for my hands and it seems like it fills the ram up really fast. It's like all the apps see the high amount of ram and they all want to work full throttle in the background. However, I love the tall screen.
I like mine as well, but i did just order the Moto g stylus 2021 for $150 carrier locked. I couldn't resist, especially with LG no longer doing new phones. One thing I don't see mentioned here is which phone can take a beating. I usually get LG or Samsung because they can take a beating. I haven't had a Motorola since 1999, so I have no idea if they hold up to constant drops and throws and spills.
I just upgraded to the 2021 from the 2020 Moto stylus. Its a hell of an upgrade to me. The screen is bigger, it looks a lot cooler with the camera and fingerprint sensor. The stylus is bigger so it fits more comfortable in your hand. and its faster. Selling my 2020.
Both the styus 2021 and 2020 are good. I love them I have the specs in a comment The battery last a good time. Especially a moto g power Battery is good I use mine styus and g power for music and gaming
Funny thing is I have the Stylo and the moto g and for whatever reason I ended up plugging in the moto with the lg charger..it says turbo power..the thing charges in about an hour...why couldn't Motorola include that in the box??

I had the stylo 6 & I didn't like how tall it was. I have smaller hands and it didn't fit well lol.. I ended up selling it.. I'm thinking about getting the moto g stylus 5g tomorrow.. For its price point, the specs & camera; it seems like a pretty good phone!
My problem with the stylo 6 was changing the screen protector. Because the screen is curved on the sides you get halos on the screen protector which is a pain. Also the charging port is now not fast charging possibly worn.
I'm currently using a Stylo 3 through TracFone and like to keep up one what I'd replace that with if necessary. Right now TracFone offers the Moto G Stylus but of course at a much higher price than I paid for the Stylo 3
Anyone who is fortunate to come across this video and reads this comment, I'd say go with the Moto G stylus. Why? LG recently announced they're no longer in the mobile business, Which means no more new smartphones from LG(that is unless they decide to continue making smartphones in the future). With that in mind, it's probably better to go with a phone from a company that is still in the business of making smartphones than to go with a smartphone from a company who killed off their smartphone business.

I have LG stylo 5 and was deciding on a new phone and just purchased the Moto stylus 2021 because I need more storage. Totally ran out of storage on my Lg stylo 5 and probably will on the stylo 6. And I think I read they aren't making a Stylo 7. I don't care about the speakers or photos etc. as long as there's some sound and it can take basic photos I'm good. I just use smartphones for communications through email or for travel apps etc. More for navigating my traveling than for watching videos or playing games.
I'm upgrading to the moto g stylus, moto phones are really impressive, even the mid grade phones are great. I gave 59 dollars for the moto pure and was really knocked out how good it performs. I like the stylus and think it is pretty cool, I had the Stylo 3 ,it was okay but a little slow and janky. Moto just makes my kind of phone. Great review, thanks.
Got my moto g stylusfor total wireless for 179 def worth every penny. Had the moto power and it was a little sluggish due to maxed out memory so this one should solve that issue
My mom has the stylo 6 now. I fell in love with the stylus, but don't really like the phone. It works for her, but I happen to like motorola anyway, so I went with the moto g. I'll miss my pixel, but I have every intention of coming back at some point, so it'll definitely do for now 👍🏾
The LG Stylo 6 is really bad... my mom and my dad have the Stylo 6 and let me tell you that this phone is laggy as hell! I don’t know why LG decided to not use Snapdragon chipsets and decided to go with Mediatek... Everything else is fine with the Stylo 6... Big Screen, Stereo speakers, fingerprint sensor.. just the chipset is the bad thing
I got the Stylo 6 and 2 $50 unlimited months from a boost rep on eBay and it came with a case it cost me 150 with the $10 off coupon so I ended up paying like around 1 3 0
I purchased my Stylo 6 about 9 months a go. I use my phone for controlling my smart home devices and mostly streaming music and Netflix etc. I don't take a ton of pics so the camera does the job for the amount of use. With that being said this phone works just fine for someone who is going to use the phone for a general phone. The main reason I bought this phone was the ability to write down people orders at work. I'm a server and figured this would help me use less paper. The only downfall in my opinion is it doesn'thave NFC.
i flip my stylo 6 around, ive dropped it from over 5 feet like 400 times, it is designed like a fricken car on the inside, no dents, just the screen protector.

Hello, I just got the Stylo 6 like 8 minutes ago for 107.00 ebay. My zte 982 is just worn out. I love that phone. I hope you show me the cool stuff while i wait for it. I spend most of my money on Women, beer, & motorcycles/ebikes I need a good phone. 😎
What Im confused about is the comparo with the STYLO 6 when LG has a "refresh" or "global" version of it called the K71. It costs less than the G Stylus 2021 and has the same memory and cameras as well as dual sim and stereo speakers. With a better screen and all of the "advantages" the Moto has negated by the K71, the only issue is the slower processor in the K71. Moto phones this year are pretty much downgrades and the processor issue isn't that much of an issue as the MOTO'S processor isn't that fast anyways. It speaks volumes when a 2021 MOTO phone can barely compete with a phone from LG from a year ago. Things will get even more interesting when the STYLO 7 comes out this year.

Made another mistake aside from the finger print sensor being on the side of the new moto g stylus. I just upgraded to that phone and the power button is the sensor!! That and also the back of the lg stylo isn't plastic it's glass!!! Thats the phone I just upgraded from bc both the back and front shattered when I dropped it. Also note: the stylus is a lot tighter and better fit on the new moto g stylus vs the lg stylo 6, I've had both the stylo 6 & 5 and each one I dropped and lost the stylus. I don't know to much else about this phone yet though.
LG Stylo 6 has the worst camera on a phone ever! Everything else was wonderful though. It did get laggy after a few years, but it's my favorite phone because customization was so easy!
You're just a hardcore LG fan boy that will be disappointed to know that LG is done making cell phones!! No Stylo 7 will be released to the public. The ones that were produced were given away to LG employees. I'm not just some asshole going off of speculation, I am half owner of 2 Metro by T-Mobile stores.
Stylo 6 is garbage, screen just stopped working after 6 mos. returned it for repair and they said due to “physical damage” the repair will cost 2x my purchase price. I asked what physical damage, this phone was pristine when it was shipped back in special FedEx phone shipping packaging. They said I’ll have to call you back, since they couldn’t specify what alleged physical damage it had. As I said this phone when I use prior to return for repair lived in a hard case the fully enclosed the phone. It had 0 physical damage. That’s my experience maybe yours is/will be different.
What kind of review is this? You state that it isn't a noticeable difference in the performance but you can CLEARLY see the LG Stylo 6 lagging. Stylo 6 has a better looking display. That is all.
300 - 500 u.s. Dollars are good price for quality phone but most lacking laser projector keyboard is foundation for next step of holography technology empower smartphone. Also cera arrangement is bad because triangle arrangement of cameras and speaker need extreme careful for quality
Get the moto I had to bring back my lg stylo 6 it sucks it's all and when someone sends you a text message with a youtube video you'll only get the link not the picture because stylo 6 doesn't have the peek feature which gets confusing if you get a lot of youtube videos from people
instead of this stuff, you should buy a note 9 as its far superior. or for £450 get the note 10+ and spend a bit more the note 20 ultra (snapdragon is more expensive)

Watching on lg stylo 6, kinda disappointed with it after 2 months usage. Got used to stereo speakers so I def won't be getting moto g stylus 2021 version. Other then spring loaded stylus which stylo 6 has, I'd rather get moto g stylus 2020 If only for keeping the stereo speakers.
Glad I got Moto G Stylus 2020 late last year for the stereo speakers. Big disappointment with the newer version. Hoping that LG does not drop it from the Stylo 7, my daughter has the Stylo 4, I was telling her to wait to upgrade to the 7 because some folks were giving quite a few negative reviews on the Stylo 6.
I've had the moto g fast and the whole moto line I loved moto but I really didn't love it when I got to the newest moto so when switching I looked to samsung and not gonna lie the 71 (without 5g) has been a great decision. Not hating on moto in the slightest, just in my experience since the new moto line I haven't been liking what has been put out.
I had to bring the stylo 6 back and get the motto g stylus because it didn't have the peek feature and it was too slow and my text messages weren't going through with the lg stylo 6 I hated the lg stylo 6 the only good thing was the camera on the stylo 6

Or just buy a stylus separately and use apps to gain the same functionality. Without an active stylus, there's no good reason to buy either of these phones.
it helps that its built in and the program automatically opens when you pull it out. I have a samsung note, and I only used it for "to do" lists , but i like the built in note/stylus option.
@@GlobalAdventurer you can get apps to automatically launch in a huge variety of ways. I agree it's quite convenient, but an older flagship and a separate stylus will last far longer than any budget phone Moto has put out in the last 3 years

I purchased my Stylo 6 about 9 months a go. I use my phone for controlling my smart home devices and mostly streaming music and Netflix etc. I don't take a ton of pics so the camera does the job for the amount of use. With that being said this phone works just fine for someone who is going to use the phone for a general phone. The main reason I bought this phone was the ability to write down people orders at work. I'm a server and figured this would help me use less paper. The only downfall in my opinion is it doesn'thave NFC.
It does have NFC, according to the user manual anyway.
NFC with the stylo's in the past has depended on the carrier. Most of the stylo 6s that I have seen do have NFC, like Verizon and T-Mobile.
Mine has NFC you just need to go to the setting and enable it

Does the screen of the Moto G flicker when you turn the brightness way down? To see the flicker you'll need to look at the screen through a camera.

You made an oopsie. You can unlock the moto sty with your fingerprint. The power button is the sensor.

What Im confused about is the comparo with the STYLO 6 when LG has a "refresh" or "global" version of it called the K71. It costs less than the G Stylus 2021 and has the same memory and cameras as well as dual sim and stereo speakers. With a better screen and all of the "advantages" the Moto has negated by the K71, the only issue is the slower processor in the K71. Moto phones this year are pretty much downgrades and the processor issue isn't that much of an issue as the MOTO'S processor isn't that fast anyways. It speaks volumes when a 2021 MOTO phone can barely compete with a phone from LG from a year ago. Things will get even more interesting when the STYLO 7 comes out this year.
That won't happen now that LG is no longer making phones, but it would have been interesting.
Mostly because Motorola is still in business, I'd have to lean towards that option.
In daylight the screen is hard to see on the LG . Colors are better than my television.
The Stylo 7 is on the way Moto g will get blown out the water so njoy your short run

on the side of my stylus6 there`s a port w/t two holes........... what is that for?
Made another mistake aside from the finger print sensor being on the side of the new moto g stylus. I just upgraded to that phone and the power button is the sensor!! That and also the back of the lg stylo isn't plastic it's glass!!! Thats the phone I just upgraded from bc both the back and front shattered when I dropped it. Also note: the stylus is a lot tighter and better fit on the new moto g stylus vs the lg stylo 6, I've had both the stylo 6 & 5 and each one I dropped and lost the stylus. I don't know to much else about this phone yet though.

The holepunch is pretty much a notch... It looks a little better, but the sooner we can remove it entirely, the better.
The Moto One Hyper and Moto Fusion+ don't have cameras on the screen. That makes both superior.

LG Stylo 6 has the worst camera on a phone ever! Everything else was wonderful though. It did get laggy after a few years, but it's my favorite phone because customization was so easy!

You're just a hardcore LG fan boy that will be disappointed to know that LG is done making cell phones!! No Stylo 7 will be released to the public. The ones that were produced were given away to LG employees. I'm not just some asshole going off of speculation, I am half owner of 2 Metro by T-Mobile stores.
Stylo 6 is garbage, screen just stopped working after 6 mos. returned it for repair and they said due to “physical damage” the repair will cost 2x my purchase price. I asked what physical damage, this phone was pristine when it was shipped back in special FedEx phone shipping packaging. They said I’ll have to call you back, since they couldn’t specify what alleged physical damage it had. As I said this phone when I use prior to return for repair lived in a hard case the fully enclosed the phone. It had 0 physical damage. That’s my experience maybe yours is/will be different.

What kind of review is this? You state that it isn't a noticeable difference in the performance but you can CLEARLY see the LG Stylo 6 lagging.

Update 1 year later, I just switched from my moto g stylus to my new Samsung Galaxy S21 FE lol
300 - 500 u.s. Dollars are good price for quality phone but most lacking laser projector keyboard is foundation for next step of holography technology empower smartphone. Also cera arrangement is bad because triangle arrangement of cameras and speaker need extreme careful for quality

Get the moto I had to bring back my lg stylo 6 it sucks it's all and when someone sends you a text message with a youtube video you'll only get the link not the picture because stylo 6 doesn't have the peek feature which gets confusing if you get a lot of youtube videos from people
all my phones end up in a wallet case, so i never see the entire phone, only the face of it. wouldn't know the difference.
instead of this stuff, you should buy a note 9 as its far superior. or for £450 get the note 10+ and spend a bit more the note 20 ultra (snapdragon is more expensive)
I believe that he reviews phones of this type because not everyone can either afford and/or is interested in a flagship. Just my guess.

Watching on lg stylo 6, kinda disappointed with it after 2 months usage. Got used to stereo speakers so I def won't be getting moto g stylus 2021 version. Other then spring loaded stylus which stylo 6 has, I'd rather get moto g stylus 2020 If only for keeping the stereo speakers.
Im selling mine with cases, extra stylus and screen protector. I got the 2021. If you want it in a bundle and cheaper. Its in great condition.
Same with moto power, last year is better , especially for speakers, loudest work phone I ever had.
Glad I got Moto G Stylus 2020 late last year for the stereo speakers. Big disappointment with the newer version. Hoping that LG does not drop it from the Stylo 7, my daughter has the Stylo 4, I was telling her to wait to upgrade to the 7 because some folks were giving quite a few negative reviews on the Stylo 6.

I've had the moto g fast and the whole moto line I loved moto but I really didn't love it when I got to the newest moto so when switching I looked to samsung and not gonna lie the 71 (without 5g) has been a great decision. Not hating on moto in the slightest, just in my experience since the new moto line I haven't been liking what has been put out.
Moto Stylus 2021 battery life is disappointing and unexpected. I regret buying it and may go back to my Moto G Power.

it helps that its built in and the program automatically opens when you pull it out. I have a samsung note, and I only used it for "to do" lists , but i like the built in note/stylus option.
@@GlobalAdventurer you can get apps to automatically launch in a huge variety of ways. I agree it's quite convenient, but an older flagship and a separate stylus will last far longer than any budget phone Moto has put out in the last 3 years
