Thank you for taking the time to do this video! You saved my trash can! I took that little plastic piece off yesterday, and when I looked today, I didn’t see any screw!!! I’ll have to look in the trash. lol! But I found a little screw, it’s not the exact size but at least the lid is working now! Thanks again!! You’re the best! 🙌🏼
@@Kukurom I got a tiny one from one of my son’s toys, lol!!! Find a toy full of little screws. This one was a car and I got the screw from there. The car is still working hahaha. It was just a little long for the trash can but it works.
Didn't work for me but I also cleaned out everything that was in there it opens up and then it goes to close but it stops what else do you think it could be a tighten the screw and everything.
I removed that piece but does anyone know exactly how big that screw is? I tried to tighten it but it just kept spinning. I think a tiny piece broke off. I tried to see if the rest of the screw was in there but it’s hard to see.

I’m getting a similar result. I think I’m gonna go to Lowe’s to see if I can find another screw.
