I've had this trashcan for over three years and just had to change batteries for the first time. It was expensive but it's been great. Didn't know I needed this until I got it.
I've had a coupe of these. The lid only last a couple of years. My current lid is the WM-50-13. No reset for the lid other than removing the 3C battery's for 24 hours. Good luck.
I can’t figure out how to open the battery compartment, directions say to “squeeze the tab on the battery cap” and I’ve tried to squeeze every which way I can, but the tab is very rigid plastic and not squeezable. All the videos skip right over how to get the door off and just show it already set up. I understand this is just a review video, but I knew when this guy didn’t even know the lid closed on its own, this wasn’t going to be a very informative video. Every single video about new products anymore are just useless unboxing with very little instruction, just to fulfill the agreement these channels make when they receive free products.
Okay you're mad because you can't open a battery door? Maybe don't buy complicated products. Also don't assume we all get free products lol I bought this from Amazon. 🙄
@@AtHomewithLucas I’m not mad and I’d hardly call a trashcan a complicated product, it’s just a poorly engineered battery door. I figured your lousy review was due to being one of the freebie drones that don’t actually have to accomplish anything except gush about the freebie. If you purchased with your own money for the sole reason of reviewing it for your channel, maybe do more thorough reviews. I’m assuming you aren’t independently wealthy and want to make money, right? 🙄
As I was setting up the product, I had a moment when putting the batteries in I said "should I film this part" but then I said nah no one cares about putting batteries in a device. So I guess I should have filmed more. Some reviews I film too much, but this one I wanted to move quickly through it. Also, I wanted a new trashcan, then found this one on Amazon and thought it was very cool. The video came second.
