IN THIS CALISTHENICS VIDEO:
I show you how you can get started in calisthenics at home as a complete beginner, with rubber bands. - Sport
I love the way you teach. You are very empathetic, and that is important as a teacher to understand what your student is thinking.
Been doing yoga and weight training for a long while now and still these calisthenics are super tough and honestly look really cool.. Thanks for showing progressions so I can get started!
Yoo , Adam with an other video
2021 is gonna be a blast!!
Love this, cuz rn all I have to use is my resistance band, and after getting hit but a truck last December, I've really been trying to get back into the best shape of my life.

Great video, I've always wanted to try out calisthenics ever since lockdown started. Thank you!
Another Great video Adam...I got 2 months making calisthenics with your videos and i think my progress is good
Brilliant! Thank you!
big thanks this is very valuable guidance
1:17 adding a resistance band to assist in pull-ups is a game changer for me, thanks for the tip
Already have some bands and am looking for new challenging workouts. At 48, the tole on my body from heavy weight training has made it necessary to change up things. I love your FIT home gym. I think coupling that up with some light dumbbell work would make great workouts
thanks for your info, I appreciate that
Found Adam on IG, been inspired to improve my body and bodyweight control 💯
Thank you so much really I appreciated that for you man ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
New set up!
Is mixing in weight lifting and calisthenics a healthy and efficent way to improve my calisthenic skills and grow stronger?
yooo i was just thinking about this hopefully someone responds
Sure it is.
I don’t wanna develop too much muscle cos I must work on my flexibility and mobility too as well of course strength is included
Yes, plenty of people do that. Look at the likes of Scott Mathison and Ryan Klarenbach. They both mix weights with calisthenics, and they both have incredible agility, with great physiques.
@El Filipino de Cebu Do all the strength training for your legs in the off season and not race season. I'm still progressing with the planche and front lever while gravel, and crit racing because I don't train legs this time of year. However, you want to do around 4 sets of 4-6 heavy reps on squats to build explosive power for sprinting during the winter. Check out Dylan Johnson on CZcams and Training peaks. He has some good cycling training videos and programs.
The Fit Home gym is looking really great. Woow
thank you so much
I’m getting there like you Bro . Almost there
🔔 | Great tips for beginners Adam!👍💪 I just started the video and I already know it will be good!
Just in time 🤙🏽
Fantastic
hello adam i just bought your home fit gym, and i love works really great, it doesn't take space in my house so it's perfect, however do you think that i should use rings in it?
Using resistance bands to assist pull ups is something that is really attractive to me. How ever I am only at the start of my fitness journey and I am (depressingly) 167kg or 368lbs (I was 398lbs when I started weightloss) and so I am scared the resistance band would snap and hurt me if I tried using one. Can you make any recommendations?
I need that bar contraption you have, omg I need it lol
FIT! home gym
I was interested in getting the shredded program is it still available, also what is the best protein to go along with this program to get the best results, whey or plant protein powder?
What is the apparatus you are using to demonstrate these movements and where can I purchase one???
I want those bands
What kind of pull-up device you got there?
Pretty sweet
Right. Can you suggest something for those who has no access to any equipment?
All you need is very simple variations of pushups, situps, pistols, etc. To workout your whole body. Also dont forget to do scapula workouts (pushups just moving your shoulders and not your arms), as this will be very important for other things later. All you need is to be able to find a workout for each individual group of muscles in your body, leave no muscle out of your workouts including back, scapula, thighs, etc.
@@araccoonstolemyradiator what do you suggest as alternative to pull up?
@@rrrimve there arent many ways to do a pullup workout without actually doing a pullup, what I do is find an open door and then put your feet in the doorframe, grab the sides of the doorframe, and then lean back and pull yourself into the doorframe like a pullup. I'm not sure how well it works, but it works for me.
@@araccoonstolemyradiator I guess you're right. I need to come up with my own ways to stimulate every muscle rather than browsing internet and hope to find something applicable. Cheers
@@rrrimve can you get a door pull-up bar? They're not expensive and they work, plus you can remove them whenever you want
Is it ok to use the assisted dip/pull up machine at the gym if I can’t use resistance bands
ayo rubber bandits is already taken for the irish rubber bandits
Is it possie to ship outside USA and Canada?
I have a question, where can I get such a multifunctional board where I can do pull ups and dips
Damn! i missed first
wow
Where do I buy that pull up/dip stand?
I'm going to start doing calisthenics but i'm rather confused when it comes to when to exercise/ workout? Should I 2-3-4 times a week, and do I do full body every workout or split it up on the following 3-4 days?
Full body is more than enough 3 times a week . You can also alternative upper lower 4 days a week
@@gabm9376 you think 3-4days body, 1 stretching day, and one day for skillwork (i wanna learn Archer and handstand) because stretching is basically a rest right? M T W-rest T F-stretch S-Skill Sunday- rest would work?
@@nabbanka9479 first make sure you're good at the basic moves such as push ups, Dips, pull ups. Being able to do 20 reps for the push movements and try to aim to do 15 reps for the pull ups.
When implementing skill work on the days you train full body or upper lower you can do your skill work first for example
Upper body :
Handstand practice
Push up
Pull ups
Dips
Australian rows
Leg raises
That way on your off days you can do mobility work or stretching.
Hope that helps
@@gabm9376 thank you, will do
hello sir, where can I get this pull up bar rig?
More videos for over 60 beginners would be great
Scooby1961
Please make a video all about the scapula. How to train the scapula muscles for push ups and pull ups. Thank you very much
I did his scapula work out was only able to do 70 pushups next day sore toke a 2day rest day did them again I was only able to 20 what happen
@@jaydenchan1611 i believe if you've never focused on a specific muscle set before (like your scapula) you're going to be really sore for the next few days and you won't be able to do max reps. If you keep doing the workout, you should have a much shorter recovery time after a period of time.
@@Awesomedp2011 I'm brain dead so help me out a bit so I should do them everyday none stop or rest for a day and keep hitting the work out I also gotten to the point were I can't left myself up from the push up during the workout and just held push up form the next day the side muscle from my neck was aching
@@jaydenchan1611 definitely don't do them everyday nonstop until you get solid with that type of workout or you won't let your muscles recover. From what you're telling me, you went from 70 to barely being able to lift up for a pushup, it sounds like you strained a muscle. I wouldn't force yourself until you let that muscle recover or you might injure yourself pretty bad.
@@Awesomedp2011 do you think I should do them all in one go or do 10 wait 5min and do the other 10 intel I reach 70 or hundred
where is this pull up station from?
that equipment hes using is great but its expensive
Anybody know what the set of dip and bar product can be found
Hey does anyone know what brand makes this power tower?
Those are the longest bands I’ve ever seen
Any rep suggestions
I want to buy it. How can i buy it in Bangladesh
Pretty cool but far too short. The top bar should be at least 7' tall and the whole unit should be a cage with the pull up bar in the middle. This would make the unit a lot more stable and potentially allow more exercises.
i’m extremely underweight, is calisthenics efficient for me given i’m not working with a lot of weight
You can still adjust the dificulty of the exersices to challenge you. I think for skinny persons, bodyweight training is often more rewarding than for overweighted persons, just because you have a better entry to the movements
Can you help me I have a damaged shoulder and I can’t hold my body weight so I stopped training a few years ago now and put a lot of weight on I need help
Go to e physiotherapists
u make this look ez
Where to buy this home equipment?
Look up "fit! Home gym" thats how I found it. I just looked up his name and this came up.
It has been an absolute headache trying to get a full return from this company. Item delivered a month late. Coming up on 2 months of waiting for a return. RIDICULOUS.
My palm hurts though 😔
Any “cheap” resistance bands?
Apni shilwar ja nara nikaal k istimal kerle bhai .. per aik haath se shilwar pakkar k rakhna
Yum
Shit thought I was first
Mans selling that frame for $400
That's too much the heck.
Ur setup price is so high bruhh...almost 28,000k in indian rupees...I can't afford that..🙄
First
Hate you so much for being first😂
Bruh you have like an 18 pack. Ridiculous 😂
this is for beginners? lol
What did you expect? He’s saying do push-ups, pull-ups, and dips, and showing how to use a band to make it easier if you can’t do them well yet
Is beginner supposed to be someone that can do everything perfectly even though it's less in reps? Or someone who is new to it?
Be big you are tiny
