    I usually do stretches only on my wrists, maybe shoulders before a workout. Well, that stretch that you found out recently is really interesting, definitely gonna do that. And, one more thing, it's funny tendency to make "click bait heading s" and give valuable information after. Jeff Cavaliere started this, I guess. BTW, stretching is KILLING YOUR GAINZZ!!! Is it true that stretching your muscles for an extended amount of time before a workout can reduce the power you will see in the performance of that workout? I once heard an analogy used comparing our muscles to rubber bands essentially saying that the longer we spend on one stationary stretch compared to a plyometric stretch, the less powerful our muscles will be during the workout (kinda like a rubber band)

    • @JDBoelter
      @JDBoelter Před 3 lety +7

      Drew - from what I've read, the "reduce performance" thing happens when you really aggressively yank on the muscles, or hold each stretch for minutes at a time (like a gymnast training for the splits). 30 seconds of "creating space" in a stretch doesn't really cause a problem.

      Hey John. I’ve been in your exact place 2 months ago.
      Go for a walk by yourself or with a family member.Eat just a little bit more healthily.
      Sleep on time and wake up after 7-9hrs.
      Have someone to talk to. Keep your family close by. Don’t overthink. Don’t worry about the future. Gratitude is vital; live in the moment.
      Try and reduce/eliminate any bad addiction(s) that you may have.
      Whatever is on your mind; express those thoughts with someone you trust. They will try their best to steer you in the right direction.
      Hope this helps.
      Stay strong. You will overcome this!
      Losers give up. You are not a loser. You will fight bravely for yourself and for your family.
      You have the power. No one can stop you.

      When they are the ones exactly causing the problem and then victimize themselves after seeing you get worse and you never get the apology and the assurance that they won't do it again. You'd be left wondering "what did I do wrong?"
      I want to leave to live, but is it really worth trading the level of security there is for peace?
