  • DIY Garden Obelisk | Trellis
In this video I will be making an obelisk for my garden. In my case it will be a support for my rose. You don't need much materials for this project and you can make it on the cheap.

That's really effective. I'm definitely going to give this a go. Thanks for the details about the angles, the most complicated bit.

Another great video, detailing all the necessary steps required to make a great looking piece 👍
A simpler, no angle cutting design ... make two triangular frames with cross pieces, then join the two frames together with additional cross pieces ... all overhangs of cross pieces can simply be trimmed flush with the sides or other cross pieces ... maybe another project for you Tomasz 😁

How did you work out the angles? Have made a few things based on your videos, thanks again

Its not my design. I seen loads of posts on Pintrest and seen one graphic with some measurements and angles. Although I only kept the angles the rest of the sizes were dictated by my preference and the overall size of the obelisk I wanted in my garden. I wanted to link that Pintrest post in my description but couldn't find that post again. It seems the angles will work to any size of the obelisk. Although it will be more pointy rather then spread out. But it looks exactly as I wanted 👍
