We had our sale today too! In London, Ontario, Canada. Over $400 in proceeds to My Sister's Place and SafeSpace charities. Thanks to all who came out on a cold, rainy day! 🌱🌸 Next year, more veg, more plants for shade, and clearer organization. Thanks for much help from family throughout.

What an amazing team of helpers you have, I had such a fun time at the plant sale, it was such a delight to meet everyone and see such a wonderful example of a whole village working together in harmony to do such a kind thing, in making the world around, them a little bit better. The smiles on people’s faces as they left, with bags and boxes brimming with green goodies, was a delight to see. Thank you Georgie for your tremendous effect and joie de vivre, your enthusiasm is infectious and the amount you all raised was astounding. Well done, I can’t wait to get planting ❤

Well done all of you. Fife is too far away to have come, but it would have been great to have been there. Your lolly dip prizes were amazing. It is so important for folk to support these tiny local charities. Well done too to all the others around the world who had plant sales too.

So pleased that the sale exceeded expectations! Well done, everyone! I watched closely for tips for our Garden Club plant sale in October. We do it to raise funds to pay the annual rent on our meeting room plus charitable donations. 🌺🌷🌿🪴💕 No matter how bad the news seems, doing good is personally restorative.

Fabulous! I also wish I lived close enough to bring and to buy. I don't think that you should auction off the prizes, lucky dip is so much more fun and makes it accessible to everyone. I think the last hour should be all £1.00.
we had very little left towards the end so it all got taken on to my neighbour's who has an open garden next weekend and can have a plant stall - if we make it £1 for the last hour people wait for the discounts xxx
We held our sale today. Nowhere near as accomplished as yours! But we raised far more than we expected, and it was a lot of fun. Thanks for the grand idea, Georgie! We will book 10/05/25, and will be doing other stuff before that as well. I will email Nicola...

WoW, what a great sale! Did your customers "round up" when they paid, or did you have that many plants!? I haven't heard how much money we raised. I learn so much when helping at a plant sale, learning to ID plants just by looking at them. There is a lot to gardening, but most of all it's fun and rewarding. Congratulations!
They did round up a bit - and if the plant was clearly worth more than £2 they often did plus we had teas and the books and bricabrac and the lucky dip - and a few others put a chunk in - and the bee safari we did on Wednesday money went to the plant sale too - but yes, good money xxx
