Garden Obelisk - No plans needed
Making a 5ft garden obelisk / trellis / frame for climbing plants, is easier than you might think, I made this one from one 3m length of 3x2 plus a few scraps, all wood was left-overs from the build of my green roof bin shelter.
If you have some 2x2 then you could use this without having to re-saw it, and if you prefer you can use screws instead of dowels.

Looks really good and the angles not so bad, i must be honest i have had a few ideas on making things but trying to work the angles puts me off

Yea, I know the feeling, the last couple of projects were a bit like this for me, both turned out much easier than I expected, so I'd say, try any way, you can reuse and wood on a failed project and you'll learn from any mistakes.
