I have a boy.... Since 14 years old, he's becoming to lost his hair... No cancer.... Just like this!!! My divorce, he's father incomunication, money problems, he's Asperger Syndrome... Etc... I really don't know how or when, my lil boy was lost his hair... A beautiful hair, curly and long hair.... Falling like water from his head....Spending hundreds and hundreds of euros in pills, lotions doctors, blood analysis ..... NOTHING.... NOW, he's still my lil boy, but HE DON'T FEEL LIKE MY lovely RICHARD.... HE IS NOT THE SAME PERSON..... AND HE'S ONLY 18.... I'm a cancer patient and survivor and I hope that this guy gets all the support he needs to keep doing this for others in need! I grow my hair long just so I can donate it every once in awhile and every time I do I give at least 18 inches or more! Helping those build their confidence especially the little ones is very important to them in the hardest times of their life!! Need more people like him in the world!
It's a shame hair salons don't automatically donate hair. When I had mine cut I asked if they could donate it & apparently there's no easy path for them to do that stuff. It's a shame
I'm 68, I was growing my hair. I was trying to find a hair salon that helped with donations and was happy to find one. They said my hair had to be 16 inches long to donate it, it was so much longer than that. I got a nice hair cut and style and my hair was donated. 2 yrs andI'm almost at the 16 inches again to donate once again. God bless you and all survivor's.

This is what I have donated my hair too every year for almost 20 years now. I always let my hair grow to mid back and get it cut short. I wish more people would think to donate their hair to Locks of Love!
My daughter started losing her hair when she was about 15. She used to have gorgeous, thick hair. She's 21 now and it's so thin you can see her scalp. She cries at night because of it but she won't use wigs or hairpieces because they just remind her how bad her own hair is 😢

Thank you so much for this. My daughter was the survivor of a house fire. My best friend lost her daughter in the process of saving mine. She was 18 months old and had half of her hair. I raised her to believe in herself and she is 24 and is solid as ever. ❤
I had cancer when I was 12 my heart goes out to this beautiful young lady and yours too....am now 42 years old I'm good ❤️❤️

This is what I have donated my hair too every year for almost 20 years now. I always let my hair grow to mid back and get it cut short. I wish more people would think to donate their hair to Locks of Love!

My daughter started losing her hair when she was about 15. She used to have gorgeous, thick hair. She's 21 now and it's so thin you can see her scalp. She cries at night because of it but she won't use wigs or hairpieces because they just remind her how bad her own hair is 😢
