    If you want to watch these games live we stream Friday nights (7:30-11:30PM EST) and Sunday nights (6:00-9:30PM EST) over on Twitch: www.twitch.tv/casuallycompetitivemtg
    Also, if you're looking for more content, we just released a Patreon-exclusive gameplay video for the Lightly Played tiers and above. We are changing the additional video for these tiers moving forward to be an extra gameplay video each month, so go ahead and check it out if you are interested! It's more rough-cut and a little bit of a different style compared to our normal gameplay videos, but we still think you'll enjoy it! www.patreon.com/casuallycompetitivemtg

      I have to say, it's absolutely a testament to MTG and in particular the cEDH community that videos like this are produced.
      A community of like-minded people who enjoy our childhood game reaching across space and time to play a game and have a laugh.
      In my humble opinion, cEDH is the future of paper MTG. Once the barrier of card ownership is breached and you obtain the 10 duals, fetches and shocks, there is very little stopping you from building any and all decks.
      This format and it's content creators keep MTG alive. 👍

    • @armoric
      @armoric Před 4 lety

      With who? Brallin hits every opponent at once and mana crypts, random attacks, shocklands, etc. aren't too rare so it's closer to 30 to everyone, which is only one third of the library.

    • @MekanikKommandoh88
      @MekanikKommandoh88 Před 4 lety

      The idea is to loop a clean up step. You get to 8 cards, pass for turn, then discard to hand size. You deal damage to everyone with Brallin’s ability, Curiosity procs, you draw, and repeat the clean up step. You won’t deck yourself unless you literally have no cards in your library when the loop begins.

    Lavinia had no effect on casting a free Whitemane Lion? How's that? Shouldn't it be countered automatically? I mean, first the Whitemane Lion gets cast, then Aluren triggers, then should Lavinia triggers.. Because Lavinia is at the end of the stack she should resolve first and Whitemane Lion should be countered. What am I missing? :)

    Just wanted to point out that there's no need to make up additional reasons/excuses for why you chose to upload multiple gameplay videos instead of just one. It's because it means more views, more individual videos and potentially more patreons (= money to finance this channel). And that's all good! It's a smart and logical move. But next time just say you're going to release multiple videos, full stop. We all get it and its fine. No one is going to hate you for it lol.
    Keep up the good work.

      @ElusiveOtter Před 4 lety

      The name is an anglicized version of the Irish mythical hero Cuu Chulainn, which despite also appearing as if it should be pronounced “Choo-lane” is pronounced “Hullen” in Irish (technically the “ch” should be something like a rolled “h”, but we don’t have that sound in English.

      All I'm saying is it makes the videos unwatchable for me and at least some percentage of the audience. Any video featuring this card is automatically unwatchable. The constant reminder of how you pronounce Chulane even after the poll is actually rather condescending, almost to the point of not watching and unsubscribing

    • @CasuallyCompetitiveMTG
      @CasuallyCompetitiveMTG  Před 4 lety

      The poll was to get the general sentiment of the community on the topic; however, as the narrator, and as someone who plays Chulane constantly, it's tough for me to remember mid-recording to pronounce this card differently than I normally do to the point where it sounds unnatural. Our internal fix was to just simply not play the deck very often for the channel but I have been insanely busy lately and didn't have time to put together another deck. If it bothers you that much I understand not wanting to watch more content; however, this is the reasoning for why I went back to the non-strictly English pronunciation for this video.
