- Hi Guys, I'm almost ready to start work on my next project, but how can I possibly make my DIY e bike any better? The biggest issue Ive found with ebikes is the weight soo. I'm going to build some super strong light weight aluminium frames. There is many benefits from doing this such as range speed durability and also ride ability. to name a few.
If you would be interested in owing your very own custom built aluminium frame. hand made by my very own hands or would like to sponsor me or follow my progress please subscribe.
In order to make my videos more professional I need more time to edit therefore I will be uploading videos fortnightly form now on. Don't forget to turn on your notifications there's loads of good stuff coming up. You don't want to miss out.

Custom e bikes UK has been created because I accidentally built one of the UK's First insane electric enduro bikes it boosts a huge power range from 250w to a whooping 16800w running 84v @ 200A
over the years i have also built various other electric bikes and shared some of my knowledge and experience with you along the way. Many people have asked for my advice covering all manor of electric bikes so it only makes sense to make my services available. I am a long way from becoming a ebike manufacturer but I have big dreams with my many years of welding and fabrication experience/ebike building. I'm hoping to build some super light aluminium frames. The cost of the tools I need is around £5000 so I need to sell 10 at £500 each to make my money back if this is something you might be interested in contact me (above)

5:20 i LOVE old gravel/sand pits like these from yestercentury ,used to play up and down them on my bike as a kid, big dips etc next to disused rail tracks
Yesterday century was when bikes where good in my opinion. But electric bikes are making all that excitement and freedom possible again today you know what I think... they are brilliant.
Nice big battery on the way, like 👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍👍. This frame idea, made in Britain 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏
Yeah mate I'm helping someone build there bike and he's asked if I will build the battery. Its 84v 20s 6p for now (eventually 10p) its been built on a budget but he's bought sony vtc6 cells so it's going to be a really good battery capable of 300a continuous when 10p.. He's running 100a sabvoton controller with a 100a bms. Qs 205 motor... It's going to be a good build...
Yeah come on man! Made in Britain is the way forward 👌
The E Bike Nut Just realised I’ve a 16 way cell tester. If Tony at Vortex, doesn’t want to borrow it (just offered after seen latest video) available. Very fancy unit, although 1amp max discharge and does require a suitable 5 v power supply.
@@e-bikerbulgaria ah man I wish Id know that mine is only 4 cell I've been on all day but I've managed to get almost 60 cells balanced and about 40 welded it's been a good little project so far good way to spend my Saturday lol
Hi will great video. aluminium swingarm and frame is definitely the way to go i would definitely be up for buying 1 ive already replaced the side panels with aluminium and wrapped them in carbon fiber vinyl.
Cheers John I'm sure everyone who knows this frame knows it's heavy. I think I could build it with a 3rd of the weight and on a e bike I think it would make a huge difference. I'm going to make one for Emmas ebike electrics her bike car run 2600w if I change the controller... It would be perfect for a aluminium version of my bike. We will also so have his and hers haha pretty cool 😎😁👍
This looks awesome fun!
It was brilliant as per always haha
Great vid mate....my 3000w is all up and running...getting a few subs myself now...👌
Nice one, new sub on-route.
@@e-bikerbulgaria thanks mate...will return the favour
The E Bike Nut,
why are you using those trash tires ??!!
get some good off-road ones !!
There's a few reasons I use these tyres. Firstly they are on off road tyres, they have never had a puncture. They don't chew up the ground and because of the power I have I would rather the wheel slip than flip. Also with a knobbly tyre there is a lot more drag when using off road this will cause my motor to get unnecessarily hot and possibly burn out. Also there is a lot of road noise from a off road tyre along with limited grip on the roads and shaky ride. Don't get me wrong off roads tyres would look mean but it's not about the looks the bike has to work and ride as it should and most of all its got to be reliable.
Loving your channel bro. We spoke before on your other vid. I'd love you to modify my plus size tyre mtb. I'd bring it up to ya leave with you to convert to electric. I live a bit away from you though. I'm from Midlands you from Newcastle? I could send you a picture of me bike then you could get thinking Haa
Yeah mate e mail them to me @ Theebikenut@gmail.com we can chat more about it there 👍
Awesome ebike mate, currently building my own 5k watt rated rear hub, 20s 5p Samsung 25r cells 20A continuous 50A max 2500 mah - the same frame as yours (stealth bomber copy) x4 5s packs, I'm not using a bms as I've decided to use an external balancer charger, and a parallel charging plate which can handle upto 30A - 100A sabvoton controller - 26" wheels with slick tyres - hidden GPS tracker and controller alarm (with motor lock) - lights indicators horn all work from dc to dc converter (90v max to 12v)
(plan on limiting it's draw to 50A to double my battery life) do you think I could get 30 - 40 miles range from a single charge?
The only thing I have left to get is the rear motor
Also after my ebike is finished I'll be building an electric recumbent bike with a wind shield (so it's not so cold in the mornings)
I know I guy who has a 20s 6p battery 3000mah cells tuning up to 100a and only gets about 20miles bud. That should give you some reference. Sounds like it's going to be a good bike your building tho. Word of advice don't give in. It'll all be worth it in the end 👍
@@theebikenut4679 cheers mate, I think the first thing I'll be upgrading is the battery anyhow, its a bit of a budget build just to get myself on the road as I have no other means of transport (failed my driving test multiple times) what kind of speed does he get using the full 100A? Where I live its full of hills so I'll only really be using the bike to get up the hills and then coast it down the hills,
What onboard camera you use mate....need one myself
I've just subscribed to your channel mate I didn't know you where on CZcams or that your bike was up and running we'll be going for a blast soon enough haha cool bike BTW. 👍
It's a go pro hero 7 black mate.
@@theebikenut4679 thanks mate...yeah im looking out for a bike rack for towbar 👌
@@steve7163 you should luck for a motor bike one.. I had one for my trials bike years ago and it was brilliant. Would be perfect for the e bikes.
@@theebikenut4679 good idea... its the weight
