me too! so proud! and its funny cause my arms were not that dead at the end without stopping in comparison to when i did put them down once during the whole session. Because theres a point when you get trough that really fire burning sourness sensation that then you actually feel okay again :D
SHE MADE THIS LOOK EFFORTLESS and I can't be the only one: I dropped my arms too many times to count within the first seven minutes.. unbelievable how effectively this activates dormant muscles... blood is flowing so much better now! OH MY GOODNESS GRACIOUS!!!

I did it omggg!!! It’s my day 4 and didn’t put my arms down. I didn’t believe it was possible at first, but whoever is reading this I assure you a 100% you can do it!!! ❤❤
Same here. Impossible the first few days and then wow … total surprise - it is possible to keep my arms up 😀. Now after a couple of weeks it’s really doable. Again, wow!

My arms still 29cm I thought my arms got slimmer because they are tighter and every time I did this workout I felt burn but I guess I was wrong

It's okay if you put your arms down throughout the video, what matters is that you're pushing yourself and trying your best! If you need to take a few breaks in between, that's okay too. Eventually you'll put build up the endurance and put your arms down less and less. You've got this!

Confession... Sometimes, when I'm too depressed to get out of bed to work out, I do this video in bed and it always perks me up, makes me feel happier and lighter. I love this workout, I love your bubbly persona, and I love being reminded of things to aspire to, like confidence and strength.

Dr. Berg sent me over. I made it to through the end of Robot Arms, barely. I was able to do about 3 reps to every 10 reps that our instructor did. Plus, I had to pause the video many times just to rest between exercises. I have decades of poor upper body maintenance to correct. I actually feel good about my poor performance because I know that I have nowhere to go but up!

So here from Dr Berg. Wtf - this was so hard and I’m so sore. Plan on doing this for next 8 weeks every second day to see how my arms/shoulders improve. Will update in 8 weeks

I'm quite sure this does nothing to muscles, other than increase mobility.
@@FosFate it tones abit and burns fat I’ve noticed when combined with calorie deficit.. it worked for me :)
Not necessarily in growing size of the muscles but abit of definition shown from the fat loss.
@@livs3123 Yep, burns calories, and depending on intensity, it's a whole lot better than doing nothing, although fat can't burn locally. Any exercise is good exercise as long as you're not injuring yourself

Omggg, okay so I’ve been doing this exercise for like a week and lemme tell you my arms are really flabby and when I did these exercises my arms were so ✨TONED✨, like I didn’t even know i could look like this and I feel so motivated to do this, the results are superb and def worth it but it’s not easy obviously but I love the pain now😂😂 thank you Cassey ❤️❤️
U can’t tone ur arms either lose fat all around or build muscle in that spot and since this is zero resistance u shouldn’t be gaining any muscle

@@CatholicKatherine you do realize twirling ur arms in the air doesn’t give any resistance right body weight stuff like pushups is actual resistance and no toning is physiologically impossible u can’t tone a body part you either build muscle or lose fat all around or do both I like how you said do ur research but clearly haven’t done any or misinterpreted data so hard it’s not even laughable if stuff like this was effective everyone would just curl the air but guess what it’s not wanna know why because there is no mechanical tension on the muscle which is the primary mover of muscle growth that’s why marathon runners or sprinters don’t have extremely jacked legs cause muscle damage and muscle fatigue doesn’t mean growth no resistance at all means no growth u neeed a adequate amount of actual mechanical tension to grow twirling ur arms in the air won’t do that it’s just mild cardio which might burn a little fat all around the body after a while or so also how is using ur bodyweight hard to sustain muscle with I can understand ur legs not gaining muscle cause at some point ur legs will need a lot of resistance to continue to get stronger now for upper body I do recommend when u get advanced enough put on weights to ur calisthenics move to help progressively overloaded

I have really good arms from being quite active and hula hooping and will turn 58yrs this year, but have lost my motivation from a year ago and get joints and spinal pain. I kid you not, I lift light weights to tone my arms. Wasnt cutting it, though my arms have definition, they also had a light coating of cellulite. Stopped the light weights and now do this routine. I am so happy wth my arms now. Thank you! 🥰

@brandandarke123 It’s definitely not as fast as lifting, but there’s a reason a lot of Pilates exercises are common in physical therapy it works on slowly building your muscles and endurance. Just because the results aren’t as visible doesn’t mean it doesn’t work.

Actually, I lift consistently and I was ridiculously sore after this. The military uses some of these exercises and body weight. Maybe you don't think it would work for you but if you've not tried then please refrain from cutting others down who enjoy it. Again, I do this, lift and run. I love this and was super sore. I consider myself in shape to so, yeah!!

this workout humbled me so much, this is a different kind of pain from weight lifting 😭 phewwww! i have a new respect for functional weightless exercises 💪
I have done this workout upwards of 10 times and I finally did it without dropping my arms or leaning forward to make exercises easier!

It took me weeks, but I *finally* did it! I got through the whole workout without dropping my arms. Now it's time to work on getting my arms more together during prayer arms. Thank you so much. :)

ElkeE - By shere chance I saw your video and had to try it immediately. Loved it, yes it hurts, cant do all exercises as beautiful and elegant 😰😰but getting better every day. I hate flabby arms, and having just turned 80 I agree wholeheartedly with "Young At Any Age". I would add also the word "fit". of course we oldies cannot do many things we did before, but this video and many others you do are very inspiring. Love it. 👏👏👏

This routine is amazing. I workout on a treadmill (I'm a 63 y.o. out of shape female) and my heart rate can go up pretty high. Then I do this (simple looking!) routine and, especially right after the Prayer Pulses, my heart rate on my Fitbit is even higher than on the treadmill! Yes, it looks like it's too easy to make a difference but DO NOT BE FOOLED!! I've been doing this 3 or 4 times a week for about 3 weeks and when I look at myself in my sports bra, I feel like I see a difference in how strong my shoulders look, I can feel and see how much more pronounced my biceps are. I think Cassey is ADORABLE. By my 5th time doing this routine, I did go ahead and mute the sound and listen to my fave music on headphones to help me at least get past the Prayer Pulses LOL. Take your time but KEEP TRYING and YOU WILL SEE A DIFFERENCE.

I swear this is works!! Ive been doing this for five times and i started to see some changes! Im not doing any diet or anything but i do pilates for 30 mins, 3/4 times a week and i mix it up with this workout to fix my rounded shoulder. And i notice this morning, my shoulder and arms looks so much leaner and i feel like my posture are so much improving, my back are also way leaner than before and also my upperbody strength are improving so much! Everything feels so much easier and lighter when i pick heavy stuff lol. This has to be one of my fav workout ever eventho it burns sooo much. Im so grateful for this 15 mins workout 😭

@@fortnite.burger you mean placebo effect? Well i was just stating what i was experiencing, and i know for sure not everyone will have the same results like me. My body type is the kind that can easily build muscle but kind of hard to lose the fat. I hope u understand what i mean as im not an english speaker. But for me, this workout gave me more results than doing the strength training with dumbell. If i do dumbell my arms going to look bulky. But with this one or any other pilates workout it gave me a lean look which i love. Cheers
