I don't get it
Finally got the chance to listen to this at work and it's such a great interview. I've always been really interested in the practice of archiving elements of old internet culture, and as someone who has had Halo ever since I've had my first computer Halo Digsite was like a beam of light when I first saw it pop up on my Steam's update feed. While I'm still young, I really do wish I could also get in on these projects that revive the excitement from those earlier years.
I love legacy content like this.

Wish they could separate the crosshair position from weapon position. The centered crosshair weapon positioning looks so bad. But I like using the centered crosshair itself. Also wish the legs scaled with your FOV in Halo 3 and in ODST, and Reach like it does in Halo 2 and 4.

this is good, but the mods available are a bit limited, many of the best DOOM mods either use unoriginal assets or use ports too advanced to be added, and porting anything from later sourceports is illegal due to the GPL (you can't mix GPL with proprietary and DRM riddled code).
not to say there are no amazing mods, back to saturn X is amazing and better than all the classic doom game combined and then some. (though i would play it in prboom or GZdoom before the Bethesda port any day)
As way more of a TimeSplitters fan than Halo, I wish TS 1 through 3 had this dedicated of a fanbase, and PC ports to keep those games alive and widely available.

Halo 5 is seen as one of the worst shooter titles in modern history by anyone outside the franchise. Saying Infinite is slightly better than that does not help your argument...
