From 1993, Demolition Man brought Sylvester Stallone and Wesley Snipes to the mystical futuristic year of 2032 (from the mystical futuristic year of 1996) to turn society on it's head. Seen as a poorly executed action movie lacking a serious tone during it's release, has time treated the film better than the cryo prison? Or like Simon Phoenix, is it even worse than we remember it?

There is old cops alive that dont remember what they did few decades earlier ... time span should have been few hundreds years not decades .
And on three seashells ... there has been on market for longer time toilets that wash your butt automatically and no paper needed ... why has not everyone one of those ? ... so covers for buttons very logical explanation .

But when I check up on the internet around 2007 or 2008, the only games of the Demolition Man was the Sega Genesis, Sega CD, SNES and Panasonic 3DO version.

I saw this last night, fel a bit rushed but maybe because a few scenes were cut (Flight Before Chrismas was a GREAT Christmas film however when on TV they cut like 20-30 mins out of it, NEVER CUT SCENES FROM A FILM IF YOUR GONNA SHOW IT SHOW THE MOVIE DON'T CUT IT AND RUSH IT TO THE POINT OF BEING TERRILBE!!!!!) so it felt like stuff was missing, but I liked it.

Don’t get me wrong I like creepy, but I’d rather watch decker doing a review solo I just don’t find creepy and his little stuffed Cthulhu animal funny at all... I apologize if that’s harsh but I really like watching decker trying to figure out why the actors and directors did things the way they did... keep the reviews coming man and I wish you the best of luck with the channel

Spartans wore minimal armor unlike a certain power armor clad pussy.

    • @piotrkowalski3869

@@lukaskolisek2208 This power armor weights so much that normal people were crushed while testing it. Their operators were genetically modified to have spectacular strength, nonhuman reflexes, unnatural pain resistance. Hence they are called Spartans. If ancient Spartans would ever have to fight Covenant forces they would be wiped out in matter of time. Not to mention that even they used high grade vitals protecting armour (helmet, chest plate, shin plates waist protection, armored boots and shields). Something tells me you watched too much 300.

Why he gave phoenix the hacking an coding skills, if the person he wanted dead was in the subworld without any computer? he only needed to shot him in the head, pum , mission acomplished, not karate, not hacking and no modifiying voice commands.

I'd love to see you review The Fifth Element, which I think shares a lot of themes with this awesome movie. :)

    • @DeepEye1994
      @DeepEye1994 Před 7 lety +1

"The Fifth Element"? The only thing in common they have is the genre IMO. I think it reminds me more of "Idiocracy" because of the protagonists being frozen and waking up in an oddball dystopian future.
I know it's a very recent film and it's not a bombastic action movie, but have you seen "The Lobster" with Colin Farrell? The society depicted in that film had some similarities with the setting of "Demolition Man".
Besides that, I would indeed like to see Decker covering "The Fifth Element". Unfortunately he has already reviewed all the Die Hard movies so I don't think he'll have enough material to do a "The Summer Of Bruce Willis" we'll just have to wait and see.

If you were really frozen solid you would be dead, oblivion!
This "synaptic suggestion" they talk about wouldn't work either!
In a hypothermia induced deep-coma you would not dream nor sense the passage of time.
So everything they say about "hypersleep" or "cryo-sleep" in those ALIEN movies, is complete hooey!

  • @bronykingamethystrain5676
