All we need now is for jumper to make an X-Lite competitor with a full size JR Module bay and hall gimbals running OpenTX and FrSky will be history.
After buying this controller, I was unable to fine any good documentation about the device. This is the first information I've found that describes the basic stuff the manufacturer should have provided. Thank you for posting.

two questions: 1) does the included receiver have programmable failsafe channel values? 2) from opening it up, does it look possible to change the transmitter to mode 1 (and does the Android app support changing mode 1 mode 2)
1. As far as I know - no.
2. Yes, it shouldn't be hard. You can check the photos of the internal parts of the TX in my pinned comment.
Looks like a screen less Evolution. I've had one of those for three years. Still use it more than my Taranis as its far easier to chuck in a bag. Wonder why this has taken so long? It would be nice to have rssi in either the OSD or a warning on the radio prior to signal loss.
Radiolink AT9S AT9 AT10 II AT10 with RSSI function on the screen
Radiolink these radios are the same size as a Taranis but with less functionality. I have an AT9 that came bundled with a Sky Hero drone, sadly the receiver wasn't diversity and I kept getting failsafes so I swapped it out for an XM+.

Seems like Banggood does not sell receiver only. Which might be a problem if you don't want to disconnect and reconnect it to each of your drones.
