The door method of underwater mining relies on the fact that, while doors only occupy a small portion of their two blocks, nothing else can occupy those blocks except for players and other entities. So when you put a door down underwater, you can enter their blocks, but water cannot, so it creates a pocket of air you can stand in to mine stuff and refill your breath meter.

The Deep Dark is a new 1.19 biome. It requires you to sneak around, as if you walk, jump, break a block, or make any noise with your character, it can alert skulk sensors, which can chain to a skulk shrieker. If The skulk shrieker shrieks 3 times, it spawns the warden, which you saw, and gives a terrifying “darkness” effect that is more blinding than the blindness effect. The wardens can hit you with a sonic blast from a distance, which does 7 hearts of damage no matter what armor you’re wearing. It is tough, and terrifying.

Endermen are neutral mobs, meaning they won't attack if unprovoked - they're pretty chill dudes. However, if you look at their face or hit them, they become enraged. In this state, their mouths open, they become extremely fast, can teleport to the player who enraged them, and deal a lot of damage. They can even dodge arrows by teleporting, for crying out loud. They're very deadly to those who are unprepared

I love dark forest biomes to an unhealthy degree. They have pretty much everything you need when you first start off as far as plants go. Flowers, mushrooms, seeds, lots of mobs and animals, and three different varieties of trees which, as a builder mostly, I really appreciate. Dark forests are also where you can find forest mansions which while dangerous, are usually filled to the brim with loot.

Endermen are a powerful enemy that appear mostly in the dark. They're more or less allergic to water, and quite tall, both can be used against them. When idling they have a unique ability of picking up and moving blocks about, very annoying if they decide to rearrange your base/farm/ranch. If you look them in the eye, they become aggressive, and have the ability to teleport.
I don't know as much about wardens in the deep dark, but they are called by sound and there are patrol creatures that exist just to call them. They're considered to be one of the most powerful creatures in the game, and if I remember right they also regenerate health.

19:40 Me and as well as many people usually prefer to work and build in Plains, its open and has good space to work with, and sometimes meadows as well for similar reasons, but depending on what metarials they like to use some even goes for badlands and stuff, any biome goes, but its usually plains.
24:10 Deep Dark, simply put, an undergroung biome of.. fack around and find out, type of place, its usually empty from enemies... 'USUALLY' unless you make noises and 'THAT' thing detects it )))

The enderman is completely harmless...unless you look at it. In which case it will beeline for you, ignoring everything else, until you or it is dead. It also teleports.
And doors don't allow water through, so it creates an air pocket.

  • @rhodes3983
    @rhodes3983 Před rokem +1

The enderman is an eldritch abomination standing 3 meters tall and with overproportionally long limbs.
They posses the ability to teleport to to any sufficiently large space in a 16 meter radius and are innately weak to water to a point where even contact with rain can be lethal to them.
When a player makes eye contact with the enderman it will immediately enter a state of frenzy and mercylessly hunt them down until either of them is dead.
Also, they are near impossible to hit with ranged weapons due to their ability to teleport to safety before the projectile hits and they can pick up blocks in the environment and place them back down in any spot they choose, thus destroying your world in far more subtle ways than creepers do.

    19:45 Plains or spruce
Plains - because there's a good chance of finding a village to get resources and food
Spruce - spruce is by far the BEST tree when collecting wood since planting 4 saplings in a 2x2 gives you a tree with anywhere from 50 - 90 pieces of wood. Add that with how sparing they are at dropping samplings (5-17) and you will never be starved of wood for materials

18:14 I know this is somewhat of an old video, not that I care because it certainly won't stop me from nerding, but endermen are generally a peaceful mob so long as you don't screw up. there are also some theories about them and I think one of them claims they were once the same race as your own character before they got stuck in the End which eventually mutated them into the black slendermen we all know. also if you trigger those shriekers too many times, a creature called a warden will spawn. wardens work on very different mechanics from other mobs. 1: they are blind and will move to the vibrations caused by players, mobs and just anything that's moving around nearby. 2: they'll sniff the air which means they can zero in on you even if you're not moving. it also has an anger mechanic. I won't go into detail but once they reach 80 anger, the warden roars for a few seconds then begins chasing their target which I think can also be other mobs and not just players. and if they can't get into melee but you're still within range - and it is as it sounds - they'll start using their ranged attack. I'm going to quote the wiki for this one. "This attack bypasses shields, armor, enchantments, blocks, and even the wither armor of the wither. Only the Resistance status effect can reduce the attack's damage."

  • @addison_v_ertisement1678

Okay, so... The Enderman can teleport, and will attack you if you look it in the eyes.

  • @craig2196
    @craig2196 Před rokem +2

Endermen are reverse weeping angels. Don't look at them or they'll deck you, by look i mean actually having your cursor on them. they also teleport and are completely harmless if not provoked. they do have a massive weakness however, water they'll take damage and teleport away ASAP. also they can pick up blocks. It doesn't buff them or anything, they just like holding blocks sometimes.
    Zombies are zombies
baby zombies are satan. and the second worse enemy to fight because they're still melee. Shrink a zombie's hit box by more than half and have them go faster than god.
Skeletons have Bows and arrows and are the worst enemy to fight in the game, more about that when i get to Piglins
    Spiders are spiders
Creepers, are creepers, but if struck by lightning they become charged, which makes they're explosion even more deadly
if they die by a skeleton's arrow a music disc will drop and is one of the best sources of getting them
all the mobs above besides Creepers and spiders are hurt by sunlight, unless they have a helmet in which they won't get harmed (and they hold items, fully kitted out zombies are common) . Spiders actually turn passive during the day and will only attack if bothered.
they're are some variants of a few of the mobs above.
first is the cave spider a smaller and blue venomous variant that obviously live in caves.
there's the husk, which is basically desert zombie that does poison damage
the third zombie variant is the drowned, underwater zombie that can spawn with a throwable trident. they're tied with skeletons for most bs mob
some mobs can spawn in riding other mobs, mainly skeleton jockeys and chicken jockeys. where a skeleton is riding a skeleton horse and a baby zombie riding a chicken respectively.
witches, are witches that throw potions
Guardians are massive pufferfish, basically, that give you a mining debuff and attack you slow moving lasers. i think they're supposed to be like a psionic beam. but they only hang out in ocean monuments so it's possible you'll never have to face them.
Illagers, bad guy Villagers basically. there's 4 versions you can see in a unmodified game, they go on patrols around ther world, at outposts, and the rare woodland mansion
    pillagers, crowsbow illager
    Vindicator, axe holding illager
evoker, child necromancer, they actually spawn something called a vex but that's not as fun.
and the ravager, cursed looking rhino.
there's also a ravager jockey. which is just an illager riding a ravager.
the last overworld mob is silverfish. a small gray creature, I guess it's an actual silver fish. that spawns when infested stone is broken and it'll nip at your ankles.
(i need to sleep I'll finish this later, I wanted to get something out relatively soon)

Deep Dark biomes are inhabited by sculk, which is basically blue fungus. In sculk there are sculk sensors and sculk shriekers. The sensors detect any nearby sound, which causes them to send out a signal to nearby sculk shriekers, which will make a horrifying noise. If a shrieker is tripped too many times, a warden will crawl out of the sculk and attack the player. A warden is a giant mob covered in sculk, it's blind but it can hear very well, and it's also one of, if not the toughest mob in the game. This is why sneaking is important around a deep dark biome so that they don't hear you. They have a chance to spawn ancient cities which have really good loot, so your troubles will be rewarded if you are careful.

    Favorite Biome to Start in?
    Jungle Biome.
While they're a nightmare to navigate you do have a lot of resources, from bamboo to jungle trees(the best trees in the game imo) and if you want vines.
Granted villages do not spawn on Jungles, which complicates finding an easy safe haven, there should be a fair amount if wild life (primarily sheep to make beds if you wanna skip the night if you're playing alone.).
Least Favorite Biome to start in?
    Badlands or the Mesa biome.
Badlands are rough because they're essentially mountainous deserts and are littered with mineshafts, while these increases the likelihood of getting cool gear, above sea level mineshafts typically have lesser loot(or none at all.) While being equally dangerous as finding one below sea level due to Cave Spiders, a poisonous variant of the Spider-extremely dangerous when you don't have any gear/not properly prepared.
Cool caves to find are Lush Caves. They have Moss, a very cool block that converts natural blocks into more of itself and more. They're non-essential for beating the game, they useful on clearing out swaths of rock if you have enough Bonemeal(Fertilizer) and just mining the moss you multiplied with a hoe. You can compost the moss into more bonemeal if you have enough Moss and Moss by-products like Azalea bushes.
Lush Caves also are natural favorable spawning locations for Axolotls and Tropical Fish.
2 Nether Biomes are particularly unfavorable to start in or stumble into.
    1) Crimson Forests have high concentrations on Hoglins and Piglins.
Hoglins are the best food source(imo) if you killed them with fire, giving you cooked porkchop. But they're particular dangerous to deal with minimal gear and especially if they're with their babies.
Piglins are neutral to you if you wear any piece of Gold Armor. If not they're hostile.
They'll be hostile regardless if you hit them. They're not too dangerous but they can gang up on you and can show up with enchanted gear.
Sometimes the Adult Piglins hunt Adult Hoglins and Child Piglins find and ride Child Hoglins.
    2) Basalt Delta. It's too easy to die here and you can put yourself in unwinable situations very easily with the tiny pockets of lava.
They're very treacherous to navigate and worse more Magma Cubes(Slimes) spawn more frequently who can eaay jumps towards your position and knock you off your platform and die to the Delta's many lava death pits.
    --
That aside, the Warped Forest is the safest place in the Nether. No hostile spawns here except Endermen and only if you offend them.
Nether Fortresses are where you get Blaze Rods from Blazes that you can convert into Blaze Powder, combine it with the Ender Pearl, you get the Eye of Ender.
An Item you can use to find the direction a Stronghold as well as open the end portal. To get to end game to defeat the Ender Dragob.
