Think if I remember right the tendrils of the monster in the company building actually only show up if you ring the bell too many times, if you just ring it once it will eventually just collect the items and that's it. So more a case of don't mess with the bloody thing if you don't want to be consumed.
Also be wary of people that love to mess with you.

theres a mod called skin walker where the game will record what a player is sayin for a few seconds than the monsters can use those recorded lines and can create some fun scenarios where your calling to someone you can hear talking but it turns out it's not actually them
Regarding the spier and bathroom situation
When I was like 7 or 8 I went to go take a piss in my mom's bathroom and in the middle of using the bathroom I noticed a Brown Recluse the size of a quarter and I stood there for about 2 minutes before lifting my right leg and using my left leg to jump over it lmao
I only encountered a spider in a toilet once so far and I wasn't the one who found it. I was working and I heard my partner scream from the other room. She told me it crawled out from underneath the overhang. I just flushed the darn thing.
The spider in my bathroom is named Greg.
Greg is a good boy nd stays away from the toilet, he chills up near the ceiling eating flies and moths for me.

Allow me to just note, that it had to outsell call of duty by a seven to one margin. Lethal company was $10, call of duty is like $69.99
Meaning that seven people would need to get lethal company in order to make up for one person buying call of duty. So not only did they outsell call of duty but they have a player base almost seven times as large

In response to your spider question, yes, I had a similar experience with a big hobo spider crawling out from a shower drain while taking said shower. Started crawling up my leg, and I bashed it with some head and shoulders. Not fun. :/

I found the VOD for Badger playing this game for the first time, and it made me laugh my ass off because I KNEW Badger would be making a video on it.
Basically, whoever was running the show had a mod that made all the characters look like the Amogus spacemen, along with a bigger group of people.
...and then someone decided their very first moon to land on should be an Eclipse Moon, and Badger didn't realize what that meant. (It's a weather condition where the monsters that NORMALLY spawn outside at "night" (after 5PM), will be spawning outside the ENTIRE time you're on the planet from start to finish)
He was standing on the back of the ship against the railing as they were coming in for a landing, watching people jump off the ship (apparently that was the "meta" thing to do so you could get to scavenging that much faster) when suddenly one of those giant creatures (Forest Keeper) SNATCHED Badger off the ship and scarfed him down like he was a freaking McNugget.🤣😂
It was hilarious as shit because it was like the PERFECT introduction to Lethal Company. "Welcome to The Company! You're already fucking DEAD!!"

Bad news Kit this is pure capitalism. You got 3 days to fulfill first quota. If you are able to fill your quota after those 3 days, then it just gets raised by the company since you are such a good worker xD. Rinse and repeat until you can't match it anymore and are no longer useful to the company.^^
