1.parts cost $15 from ebay with grease nipples.

if this job you will need an alignment or you can try to do it yourself.

Thank you! I am hoping I don't have to replace my tie rod ends. It's just the boot for steering rack that is available. Very helpful video in case I find my tie rod ends damaged!
Thanks for the video. Should also point out that tie rod end should be replaced if the rubber cover/seal is torn or has been compromised in any way (cracked) as dirt and outside contaminants of all kinds can penetrate into the tie rod end. That's often the first sign that it needs replacement or will very soon. Also no mention of torque specs? The jam nut or castle nut coming lose on the tie rod/tie rod end is bad. A torque wrench is recommended.
Thanks for the info!
Thank you brother mine are shot just like the ones you showed this going to help a lot.
Good Luck,
thanks for posting, these videos are geat
Alignment video released yet like at the end of the video? Let me know. Could use that tip and trick. Thanks!
this video is perfect.
Thank you
Thanks I replaced my tie rods with easy.
My steering wheel has a lot of play in it. I was looking at other cars and they have a steering box. My question is do we have one for the lancer and where would it be?
Sorry Chris, I am not sure.
So my tie rod ends don’t just come off in video... any recommendations???
Did u not need to grease them??
Could you show a moderate video or explanation of the rear side alignment parts of your car? I have a 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer ES 1.6L Automatic & my tires are getting bold from the inside thread, my outside outer thread is ok.
Thank You Awaiting For Your Prosperous Response from You Or Anyone Please...
Sorry I no longer have this car.
whatsuup dude .. do u have owner's manual?
So the ball joint part can have play in it?
there should be any play and it should not move easily. If it does you might consider replacing it.
this is bullshit. never in 100000000 years will a tie rod unthread l
that easily
