    Mr Tire , gave me an estimate of $694 to replace inner and outer tie rod. Not including parts. You did this in less than an hour

    Thx for the help.
    I was hoping to change inner tie rods w/o pulling entire rack.
    I've not done tie rod service before so never seen that tool used - our local O'Reilly Auto parts has it for rent.

      I bought this tool in amazon its not that expensive but yup if you only need it once its better to rent it..

      Diagnosis TechsThey said ( P0302 ) Cylinder 2 Misfire Detected.? Something About My Coil.?
      What Does that Mean?
      Change it.?
      Help Muchly Appreciated Thanks
      Hello
      Now my car still bogs out after I change the valve cover gasket & tube seals... surely now last thing to change is my coil... 🤦‍♂️🙇‍♂️
      Gladly Appreciate Anyone/Someone Help Please Thanks Much

      @asianmechanicguy6483  Před 5 lety +2

      switch the coil no 2 to number 4 coil then run it for few minutes after that scan it if the codes change to cylinder 4 or p0304 it means the ignition coil is defective change it but if its stay on p0302 theres something wrong with the cylinder itself it might crank cylinder ..leaking exhaust manifold.. injector its gonna be a lot of diagnostic to be made

      @@asianmechanicguy6483 bro you would know if you folded tabs or not cause its a pain in the ass to get in there to do it. so you didnt do it........... lucky for you very slim chance since you torqued tie rod down good,it will ever come loose. and even if it did come loose since outer tie rod is in steering knuckle it can only loosen so far.

      @@johnbarto4611 youre talking about the round metal sheet ..its ok as long as you torque it it will not come loose but if want to fold it much better ..Most of the inner tie rod that i replace dont have that its just an additional lock maybe...

U think its because the car sits in the parking but i warmed them up more often. We use that car last wednesday. Just saying maybe car needs to drive everyday to maintain.
