Expanding on that thought, it makes more sense to connect the dots (points of jewelry retrieval) and continue the search in a straight line as for air routes, the shorter distance is a straight line

And except those who were gone South could return from their expedition to report Sugreev or Shri Ram. Sir I have a silly question here. I saw both your episodes the detailed ones of sugriv sending search parties in all four directions. But in Ramayan (the Ramanand Sagar and Vishnu Puran and many other) it is shown that before Shree Ram meets sugriv, they find injured jatayu who tells them about Sita Haran by Ravan. Now if they already know that sita is being kidnapped by Ravan and vanars also confirms the thrown jwelery episode, why would sugriv send his team to find information about Sita? And when all directions are being searched Lanka is closest in South which wouldn't have took them long to discover. I don't know if this is a logical question or not but I find it sensible to think why such long search?
how much time the search parties would have taken to complete. ? The northern bound people would have taken an year for round trip isnt it ? By that way hanuman had the shortest trip perhaps?.. but he was the last one to report back isnt it ? Just some logical questions that comes to mind

Let me shamelessly state that my knowledge is based on Amar chitrakatha/doordarshan and Legend of Hanuman (hotstar fame) !! . Legend of Hanuman mentions the search party was given 30 days time. So using google map a place in the alps namely Alpstein, Hundwil, Switzerland from Hampi which was near to kishkindha it takes about 1771 hours of walk ( 8737km) . So if you say 10 hours of walk a day it takes 177 days which is overly optimistic. Similarly a walk from Hampi to Dhanushkodi is 891 km ie 181 hours . What exactly was the time frame the search parties took for the search ? Is it mentioned somewhere. ? Sorry to ask you dumb questions…

Sir I have a silly question here. I saw both your episodes the detailed ones of sugriv sending search parties in all four directions. But in Ramayan (the Ramanand Sagar and Vishnu Puran and many other) it is shown that before Shree Ram meets sugriv, they find injured jatayu who tells them about Sita Haran by Ravan. Now if they already know that sita is being kidnapped by Ravan and vanars also confirms the thrown jwelery episode, why would sugriv send his team to find information about Sita?
And when all directions are being searched Lanka is closest in South which wouldn't have took them long to discover.
I don't know if this is a logical question or not but I find it sensible to think why such long search?

how much time the search parties would have taken to complete. ? The northern bound people would have taken an year for round trip isnt it ? By that way hanuman had the shortest trip perhaps?.. but he was the last one to report back isnt it ? Just some logical questions that comes to mind

Let me shamelessly state that my knowledge is based on Amar chitrakatha/doordarshan and Legend of Hanuman (hotstar fame) !! . Legend of Hanuman mentions the search party was given 30 days time. So using google map a place in the alps namely Alpstein, Hundwil, Switzerland from Hampi which was near to kishkindha it takes about 1771 hours of walk ( 8737km) . So if you say 10 hours of walk a day it takes 177 days which is overly optimistic. Similarly a walk from Hampi to Dhanushkodi is 891 km ie 181 hours .
What exactly was the time frame the search parties took for the search ? Is it mentioned somewhere. ? Sorry to ask you dumb questions…
