  • Surya Siddhanta, arguably the most ancient book on Indian astronomy, is a highly advanced and accurate treatise in Hindu astronomy that is widely respected all over the world for its highly developed scientific and astronomical concepts regarding the cosmos. As per Hindu tradition, the Sun God, Surya is said to have given this sophisticated and precise knowledge to Maya, the Asura.
Traditional Hindus believe Surya Siddhanta to be thousands of years old. However, when the West became aware of Surya Siddhanta around the 18th century CE, they set about translating the text hurriedly and arrived at a date for its origin around 500 CE. They positioned the Surya Siddhanta as a 1500-year-old text, basing their calculations on their own biased assumptions for the beginning of the Universe and their conception of the antiquity of Indian civilization.
In this Talk, acclaimed author and researcher Nilesh Nilkanth Oak points to the fradulent attempts, multiple of them, of the West in dating the Surya Siddhanta and presents his original research along with his teammate Rupa Bhaty, to arrive at a more authentic date for the ancient treatise. Inspired by the 600 astronomical references he found during his research on the dating of the Ramayana, Nilesh Oak undertook to delve deeper into the Surya Siddhanta. He and Rupa Bhaty embarked on the research and turned to the text of Surya Siddhanta itself for clues. They found astonishing references that led them to do the calculations and simulations with modern astronomical data and to then draw their inferences as to when a particular update might have happened in the Surya Siddhanta.
Employing tools of scientific precision, logic and a keen sense of intuitive observation, Nilesh Oak & Rupa Bhaty have carried out meticulous research into specific archaeo-astronomical data points found within the 12th chapter of Surya Siddhanta. And they have arrived at a date of considerable antiquity for the particular update of Surya Siddhanta that conforms to multiple indicators like the presence of two Pole stars, a 24-degree obliquity of the Earth and specific corresponding of the Earth’s apsidal positions with respect to Indian seasons of Grishma and Hemanta.
Do watch this fascinating talk to be educated not only on the antiquity of the Surya Siddhanta, but also on the antiquity and continuity of the flourishing Indian civilization, bustling with creativity, scientific activity and innovation at its peak.
    About The Speaker:
Nilesh Nilkanth Oak, is the author of "When did the Mahabharata War Happen?", "The Mystery of Arundhati", where he freshly evaluated astronomy observations of Mahabharata text. His work led to validation of 5561 BCE as the year of Mahabharata War while falsifying more than 120 alternate claims. The book was nominated for the Lakatos award; the award is given annually by London School of Economics for a contribution to the philosophy of science. In this second book- "The Historic Rama", he decisively falsifies timelines proposed by Dr. P V Vartak (7300 BCE), Shri Pushkar Bhatnagar (5200 BCE), SRS ( 10000 BCE) and M R Yardi ( 1500 BCE) Nilesh researches in astronomy, archeology, anthropology, quantum mechanics, economics, ancient narratives and philosophy.

Vedanta is the very science of consciousness at both human and cosmic levels. It recognises consciousness as the ultimate reality and affirms its presence in all existence.
All this- whatever exists in this changing universe, is pervaded by consciousness"
      --Isa Upanishad .5000-BCE
The ancient Vedic rishis in all their wisdom said as early as 8000 BC , that our universe is not woven from matter but consciousness . (They never patent there knowledge there own name ) There are connections between quantum mechanics & consciousness .
Consciousness is the intelligence, the organising principle behind the arising of form. The quantum field or pure consciousness is influenced by intention and desire.
All atoms in the entire universe are capable of mind reading and communicating with other atoms. There is a consciousness in every molecule of matter.
As per quantum physics things do not exist in its physical form, unless they are observed by a conscious observer.
In every experiment when an observer expected energy to behave as a particle, it did so. When he thought it would probably be wave-like, it was. And when observers believed it might start out as one form and end up as another, it did so.
This means ,nothing actually exists in its physical form until observed by someone, was adopted by the group as one of the concepts. You created them by your expectations and your thoughts of what should be. In every situation in your life, including the wealth or lack of it you choose to attract to you.
Biology is a quantum process. All the processes in the body including cell communications are triggered by quantum fluctuations, and all higher brain functions and consciousness also appear at the quantum level.
On the subatomic level-mind is over matter. The brain and DNA is governed by the laws of quantum physics rather than the laws of biology or neuro physiology.
THE COSMOS IS THE PLAYGROUND OF MAYA.. FROM MICROCOSM TO MACROCOSM..
Bhagavad Gita is all about BEING IN THE MOMENT.
You cannot change your past, you cannot survive without water, you cannot change natures principle. The only solution is to accept things as they are.
Life is a combination or physical, intellectual and spiritual aspects. Without spiritual development , man is without love or positive emotions ( affection, care, respect, sympathy ) .
Karma is the result of your actions. If you do something good, you will get good tings in return and if you do bad things, you will get likewise in return.
Karma or the actions that you do in the present life is passed on to the next life. But fate is not passed on to the next life.
Dharma is when we are walking the path of our soul's purpose. When we are walking our path we are out of karma. We are no longer creating cause and effect. We are in flow with the universe, with our spirit. Our soul is line with the Divine.
'Manu-Smiriti'- 5000BC describes the code for leading a disciplined way of life.
Patience, Pardon, Suppression of will, Stay away from Theft, Purity, Control of desires, Wisdom, Knowledge, Truth, Controlling Anger. These 10 qualities are considered as main characteristics of the Dharma.
The whole of material creation is conscious. Our consciousness creates our reality. What our consciousness can conceive , it can also create.
Human beings are conscious. They can see themselves in the mirror and see colours, while an animal cannot.
To a Vedantic every part of this universe is dynamic, it is vibrating, it is listening and can respond according to ones KARMA, It can be by action and can be purely thought. The universe listens to our action as well as thought and gives in return what exactly we want either knowingly or unknowingly, weather it is bad or good.
Science is trying to understand the universe ‘out there’ and Vedanta addressed the universe ‘inside you’”
Schrödinger, in speaking of a universe in which particles are represented by wave functions, said, “The unity and continuity of Vedanta are reflected in the unity and continuity of wave mechanics. This is entirely consistent with the Vedanta concept of All in One.”
The multiplicity is only apparent. This is the doctrine of the Upanishads. And not of the Upanishads only. The mystical experience of the union with God regularly leads to this view, unless strong prejudices stand in the West.
There is no kind of framework within which we can find consciousness in the plural; this is simply something we construct because of the temporal plurality of individuals, but it is a false construction… The only solution to this conflict insofar as any is available to us at all lies in the ancient wisdom of the Upanishad. - Erwin Schrödinger

Let’s remove Einstein from the credit. Black hole radiations exist irrespective of Hawking. Let’s not call it Hawking radiations. Also let’s stop calling western philosophical science, there is no east or west. Agreed? Do you have the moral courage to do so? And not only agreeing to it but you should also lecture anyone from the west next time they try to claim credit, just like you gave a sermon here at the whiff of someone expressing Indian civilisational pride. If you are ready to do that, kudos! I am with you. No need of crediting anyone for anything. Let’s truly progress towards a selfless, creditless world. How exactly will this law not exist without Newton? Will the law of gravity stop working between the earth and moon without Newton? It’s called a law exactly because it exists regardless of a person. That is why it is DISCOVERED not invented. Come on man be morally consistent and say that there is no need to credit Newton, it exists without him. Same with relativity. All the examples I gave exactly follow the logic. Be morally consistent and say that all that credit is not needed.

What Europeans did was, they made knowledge accessible to everyone. Look at this platform - Computer + Internet + CZcams + English - all invented by Europeans and made accessible to the whole world. That is the big difference and the tipping point when Western knowledge leapt miles ahead.Christianity and missionaries had a big role to play. Is it less surprising to hear that majority of people read the Vedas only after they were translated into English.

I'm a Western astrologer and I find this stuff fascinating. This man obviously knows what he's talking about and I have no doubt he's very close to the truth. As far as I can tell, the astronomy is very solid and it does seem to back up his timeline. With this theory, a lot of things suddenly start making perfect sense. During the Ice Age, India of course was one of the few warm places, so it was the most likely place for a high culture to be born, at a time when the rest of humanity was shivering in cold, damp caves and mammoth hide tents. The big question is, where are the cities these people lived in? If their houses were built of wood, there won't be much to find, though. Looking at the structure of some ancient temples, I conclude they're stone imitations of much older wooden structures, because many of their features make no sense in stone, while making all the sense in the world in wood. Now, what are the odds some of those cities have been buried under meters of mud and sand, during some huge flood of the Sarasvati? Pretty good? Might there be ancient texts with clues to their locations? Somebody who knows more than I, should try the Schliemann method and follow the clues to the most likely locations. Time to play Indiana Jones.

@Pavan Kumar You know, I think you're right, everything you say makes perfect sense. Sounds like ASI has been deliberately hiding the truth, in order to back up some false narrative, which of course is the exact opposite of what they're supposed to be doing. I find that despicable. I've seen videos of underwater archaeology in Dwarka and I know there's no way those structures could have been built, if the official timeline is correct. Somebody was building advanced stone structures before the water started rising, which means the builders were working during or immediately after the Ice Age, which ended about 12000 years ago. That means Dwarka must be at least as old as Göbekli Tepe and there probably are several layers of inhabitation on top of each other. The oldest would probably date back to the Ice Age and they should be at least 15000 years old. I would assume there are other underwater cities a little off the coast, probably near the mouths of rivers, which of course have always been people's favourite places to build. With some good divers and sonars, those structures should not be hard to find. ASI will never do a survey like that, so it would have to be done privately.
I've never heard of the Shivalik horse, that's very interesting, sounds like a local subspecies to me. Having a different number of ribs sounds like it separated from the other horse populations a very long time ago, probably before the Ice Age, when it was possible for a herd of horses to get through the Himalayas.

Which is the point and why it was burned. It is also who every revolution goes and kills the "learned" people of the previous time. To ensure that the next generation doesn't remember the glory of the old and overthrow the new.
      1. Nalanda burned.
      2. Ceaser burned Library of Alexandria.
      3. Recent: Mao of China also destroyed old Chinese heritage and killed university professors and called it "mao cultural revolution:
      4. Recent: Iran Islamic revolution was also followed by killing teachers and university profs.
      5. Recent: Cambodia had a communist revolution in 1950s (Khmer Rouge), they also killed any teacher. In-fact, killed anyone who used to wear glasses as it was symbol of learning.
      6. Ongoing: Hatred towards Brahmins in India as seeded by various forces as long term strategy. (Britishers, Tamil Nadu etc).
      7. Ongoing; Bollywood and it's "dumbing" down of Indian audiences to not accept anything Indian as good as subtle strategy to grow a bunch of culture hating people.
      8. Ongoing: News Media, always showing ancient India in worse light.

@Gopala Gopala Sir, there is no physical or geographic place called heaven. If you believe in such nonsense then you are wasting your life like many other fanatics. Heaven and hell are abstract concepts which exist right now here itself. If you are conscious enough you can experience it right away, like many rishis and yogis who experienced/experiencing it. Examples incl Vivekananda, Paramhamsa, Shankaracharya, Krishna, Ram, Jesus, Mohammad, Gobing Singh, Mahavir and many many more. Yes i am putting my hat of a board certified neurologist in the US and lover of theorical physics when i say this. If you want to be egoistic and/or ignorant to believe that heaven or hell exists elsewhere it is your choice. I believe in science. Don't think a scientist have to wear a tie or sit in some lab with computer. Think outside the box. Rishis of ancient Bharat are the earliest scientists we know of. They often used metaphors and personified abstract and subtle concepts to explain complex topics so that an average reader of that time can understand and keep reader entertained. Such is the genious of rishi scientists. Bharat's literature is full of scientific and historical facts one must be open minded and flexible enough to understand it.

    🙏 7:45 ️Thank you To *"Maya Asura"*
Who wrote Suriya Sidhanda and Mayan Calendar (Meso America)Also wrote
10,000 year old Pranava Veda(Tamil) First Veda..
✔️With the extensive architectural background, the individuals belonging to the Maya tribe were well versed in astronomy
and mathematics (including trigonometry). One such Maya (variably dated from 500 BCE to 500 CE) has done several astronomical calculations, arriving at the orbital periods of visible planets, their distance from Earth and their diameters. He is credited with the Surya Siddhanta, a work dealing with astronomy where he had described about the results of his
analysis. 'Surya' means 'Sun' and 'Siddhanta' means 'theory'. Thus Surya Siddhanta could mean the Theory of Sun or the
    Theory of Solar System.
    Astronomical Calculations
Some of the interesting conclusions of Surya Siddhanta, whose original author was Maya but which was subsequently
updated by later astronomers of India are the following:-
    1. The average length of the tropical year as 365.2421756 days, which is only 1.4 seconds shorter than the modern
scientific value of 365.2421904 days but more accurate than the value given by the Gregorian calendar (which
gives the average length of the year as 365.2425 days)
    2. The average length of the sidereal year, the actual length of the Earth's revolution around the Sun, as
365.2563627 days, which is virtually the same as the modern scientific value of 365.25636305 days
    3. Estimate for the diameter of Mercury is 3,008 miles, an error of less than 1% from the currently accepted
    diameter of 3,032 miles.
    4. Estimate for the diameter of Saturn as 73,882 miles, which again has an error of less than 1% from the currently
    accepted diameter of 74,580
    5. Estimate for the diameter of Mars is 3,772 miles, which has an error within 11% of the currently accepted
    diameter of 4,218 miles.
    6. Estimate of the diameter of Venus as 4,011 miles and Jupiter as 41,624 miles, which are roughly half the
currently accepted values, 7,523 miles and 88,748 miles, respectively went wrong
Probably he could not correctly gauge the relatively high brightness of planet Venus and Jupiter, affecting their diameter
estimates; similarly Mars is a dull red planet affecting its diameter estimate.

This research is fundamental in understanding places like Gobekli Tepe (only one of many such places to be uncovered from deep antiquity no doubt). The time period of end the last ice age keeps popping up again and again and again! Something totally unseen (until now) was going on then; civilisations far more advanced than we ever realised. Egyptians tell us that many great civilsations have risen and fallen in far antiquity (see Solons visit to Egypt). The education system needs re-establishing.
