Guys, 2 things to point out...
    1. At 8:14 first E and W Circles should be drawn and the two points where they both cut will become centers for the side circles, I flipped the sequence by mistake. Apologies!
    2. I am getting a lot of messages about Indians discovering PI before Greeks, which I could not find any AUTHENTIC reference. So, happy to be corrected if you can provide me reference to ORIGINAL SCRIPTURES (Ex: Rig Veda or any such)

We have formulae for area, circumference, even equivalent to Pythagoras theorem.

The r1a1 and ra1b1 found in the Y chromosome of most Dutch males originated from the original Indian r1a and M17 Haplogroup.

Absolutely amazing. I'm pushing 50 but I've heard about this ancient Indian knowledge first time only a few months ago and it is the very dirty game that Britain did to Indians heritage just and only for money. Guys or groups of people like in your Project Shivoham are doing a great job because sooner or later internet will be able to interconnect ordinary people without knowing foreign languages[web real-time translators, and voice typing and so on] and you guys can be sure that these things will be very difficult to hide under the cover. I strongly believe that the knowledge will be more and more accessible to everybody, and I am a live example of it being a guy from East Europe just by talking a bit of English, able to discover your amazing undeniably logical and very strong presentation about how some nations could be totally depicted in a very bad light. Just don't stop because history is a science based on facts and so mankind, so your little Indian kids have the right to know how things were and where the knowledge coming from. Well done.

The Hindu metrics of time (Kaala Vyavahara) can be summarized as below:
    • a Lipta (लिप्ता) is approximately 0.4 seconds
    • a Vighati (विघटि) is 60 Liptas, or approximately 24 seconds
    • a Ghadika (घटि) is 60 Vighatis, or approximately 24 minutes
    • a Muhurta is equal to 2 Ghadikas, or approximately 48 minutes
    • a Nakshatra ahoratram (नक्षत्र अहोरत्रम्) or sidereal day is exactly equal to 30 Muhurtas (Note: A day is considered to begin and end at sunrise, not midnight.)
An alternate system described in the Vishnu Purana Time measurement section of the Vishnu Purana Book I Chapter III is as follows:
    100 Truti = 1 Tatpara
    30 Tatpara = 1 Nimesha
    15 Nimeshas = 1 Kásht́há
    30 Kásht́hás = 1 Kalá
    30 Kalás = 1 Kṣaṇa
    12 Kṣaṇa = 1 Muhúrtta
    30 Muhúrttas = 1 day (24 hours)
    30 days = 1 month
    6 months = 1 Ayana
2 Ayanas = 1 year or one day (day + night) of the gods
Small units of time used in the Vedas
    • a Trasarenu is the combination of 6 celestial atoms.
    • a Truti is the time needed to integrate 3 Trasarenus, or 1/1687.5th of a second.
    • a Vedha is 100 Trutis.
    • a Lava is 3 Vedhas.
    • a Nimesha is 3 Lavas, or a blink.
    • a Kshanas is 3 Nimeshas.
    • a Kashthas is 5 Kshanas, or about 8 seconds.
    • a Laghu is 15 Kashthas, or about 2 minutes.
15 Laghus make one Nadika, which is also called a danda. This equals the time before water overflows in a six-pala-weight [fourteen ounce] pot of copper, in which a hole is bored with a gold probe weighing four masha and measuring four fingers long. The pot is then placed on water for calculation.
    2 Dandas make one Muhurta.
6 or 7 Dandas make one Yamah, or 1/4th of a day or night.
4 Praharas or 4 Yamas are in each day or each night.
    LUNAR METRICS
a tithi (also spelled thithi ) or lunar day is defined as the time it takes for the longitudinal angle between the moon and the sun to increase by 12°. Tithis begin at varying times of day and vary in duration from approximately 19 to approximately 26 hours.
a paksa (also paksha) or lunar fortnight consists of 15 tithis
a masa or lunar month (approximately 29.5 days) is divided into 2 pakshas: the one between new moon and full moon is called gaura (bright) or shukla paksha; the one between full moon and new moon krishna paksha
    a ritu is 2 masa
    an ayanam is 3 rituhs
    a year is 2 Aayanas
    TROPICAL METRICS
    a Yaama (याम) = 1/4th of a day(light) or night [ = 7½ Ghatis (घटि) = 3¾ Muhurtas (मुहूर्त) = 3 Horas (होरा) ]
4 Yaamas 1 half of the day (either day or night)
    8 Yaamas 1 day (day + night)
an Ahoratram is a tropical day (Note: A day is considered to begin and end at sunrise, not midnight.)
Reckoning of time among other entities
Reckoning of time amongst the pitrs.
1 human day = 1/30 day of the pitrs
30 days of human is 1 month of human = 1 day of the pitrs
12 months of human = 1 year of the pitrs
The lifespan of the pitrs is 100 years of the pitrs (= 3,600 human years)
Reckoning of time amongst the Devas.
1 human year = 1 day of the Devas.
30 days of the Devas = 1 month of the Devas.
12 months of the Devas = 1 year of the Devas
The lifespan of the Devas is 100 years of the Devas (= 36,000 human years)
The Vishnu Purana Time measurement section of the Vishnu Purana Book I Chapter III explains the above as follows:
2 Ayanas (six month periods, see above) = 1 year or one day (day + night) of the devas
360 days of the devas = 1 year of the devas
12,000 years of the devas = 4 Yugas
    Reckoning of time for Brahma.
12,000 years of the Devas = 1 day of Brahma (4320,000,000 human years). This day is divided into 10, 000 parts called charanas.
The charanas are divided as follows:
    The Four Yugas
4 charanas (1,728,000 solar years) Satya Yuga
3 charanas(1,296,000 solar years) Treta Yuga
2 charanas(864,000 solar years) Dwapara Yuga
1 charanas(432,000 solar years) Kali Yuga
The cycle repeats itself so altogether there are 1000 cycles of yugas in one day of Brahma.
One cycle of the above four yugas is one mahayuga (4.32 billion solar years)
A manvantara consists of 71 mahayugas (306,720,000 solar years). Each Manvantara is ruled by a Manu.
After each manvantara follows one Sandhi Kala of the same duration as a Krita Yuga (1,728,000 = 4 Charana). (It is said that during a Sandhi Kala, the entire earth is submerged in water.)
A kalpa consists of a period of 1,728,000 solar years called Adi Sandhi, followed by 14 manvantaras and Sandhi Kalas.
    A day of Brahma equals
    (14 times 71 mahayugas) + (15 x 4 Charanas)
    = 994 mahayugas + (60 Charanas)
    = 994 mahayugas + (6 x 10) Charanas
    = 994 mahayugas + 6 mahayugas
    = 1000 mahayugas
as is confirmed by the Gita statement
    "sahasra-yuga paryantam ahar-yad brahmano viduH",
meaning, a day of brahma is of 1000 (maha-)yugas. Thus a day of Brahma, kalpa, is of duration: 4.32 billion solar years. Two kalpas constitute a day and night of Brahma
30 days of Brahma = 1 month of Brahma (259,200,000,000 human years)
12 months of Brahma = 1 year of Brahma (3,110,400,000,000 human years)
25 years of Brahma = 1 kalpa (77,760,000,000,000 human years)
    2 kalpas = 1 parardha (155,520,000,000,000 human years)
2 parardhas = 100 years of Brahma, the lifespan of Brahma (311,040,000,000,000 human years)
The Vishnu Purana Time measurement section of the Vishnu Purana Book I Chapter III explains the above as follows:
360 days of the gods = 1 year of the gods
12,000 years of the gods = 4 Yugas
1,000 sets of 4 Yugas = a day of Brahmá
    50 years of Brahma = 1 Pararddham
    100 years of Brahma = 1 Param
    4,000 + 400 + 400 = 4,800 years = 1 Krita Yuga
    3,000 + 300 + 300 = 3,600 years = 1 Tretá Yuga
    2,000 + 200 + 200 = 2,400 years = 1 Dwápara Yuga
    1,000 + 100 + 100 = 1,200 years = 1 Kali Yuga
Alternately, the reigns of 7 Rishis, Indra and Manu = 1 Manwantara = 71x12,000+A (A is not given) = 852,000 years of the gods+A (A is not given)
    14 Manwantaras = a day of Brahmá
VEDIC TIME UNITS GREATER THAN A KALPA
Ancient vedic cosmology takes into account handful of time spans which are even greater than one Kalpa or a day of Brahma. One such unit is a "Maha-Kalpa" which is composed of 36000 such days of Brahma. One Maha-Kalpa is considered as the lifetime of Brahma. There are time units which are larger than one Maha-Kalpa. The largest of them has been calculated as several quadrillions of human years. This precise and massive calculations indicate one important aspect of vedic time system, that, whenever the term "Infinity" has been mentioned in Vedas, it does not indicate something very large. Instead, it appears that the term is meant to refer its literal synonym itself.

Mind blowing. Thankyou so much.. I have studied Maths, Physics, IT, Astronomy and Western Astrology for over 30 years, lovely to see something where it all overlaps. Astrology is hugely misunderstood, mainly I think because western science has gone thru a phase of materialism, this is now just about to change as science realises that the physical world cannot create consciousness ('consciousness is not a computation' Sir Roger Penrose). Since this is the case, then everything we experience is kind of like a dream being dreamt by consciousness, including all the physics. All dreams are constructed with layers and layers of archetypes like a fractal. For some reason psychedelics alter the dream/reality as the fractal and archetypal nature of reality can be more easily apprehended. Astrology works because it is the reading of this existence, which is built on archetypes in a complex fractal/hologram. Our archetypes of the planets and stars is mirrored in our experience of our lives as both are part of the same fractal/hologram.

Europeans used roman and greek numbering system which was very difficult to add large numbers. So they then copied decimal numeric system from Arabs. Arabs had got this from India as documented in their book.

Astrology has other aspects besides future predictions. I was at a good astrologer who could tell me lot of information about my life watching only my birth horoscope. He told me big impacts (surgeries, diseases) from my past without knowing me.
Of course it can be seen as a pseudoscience because there is free will which influence our lifes but there are a lot of impact by the planteary situations.
It was a really interesting video. I knew some history about the ancient indian and vedas but damn they know lot more thousands of years ago than we in this "scientific era"... :D

      Changes :
      1. Need the restructure the subjects Maths and Science. For maths, we can add applications oriented chapters like heights and distance, trigonometry, geometry, calculus etc and incorporate these works in them.
2 . Like many mathematical puzzles from Western world for maths are there, we use them as challenges and in competitions.
      3. For empirical results, these results in itself are so intriguing that students learn them as fun or you can pose challenges to prove these empirical results.
      4. Finally the basic results like pythagoras theorem etc can be reframed in form of stories to begin the basics in story form.

I never heard of the Shulba Sutra before. It's a fascinating piece of
    mathematical history.
When the narrator said, that that the area of the circle matches the
area of the square "exactly", I was hooked. So I worked the numbers:
Let's assume our unit of length to be equal to the radius of the circle,
    we drew around the square:
    R = 1
I use the same line segments and other elements as shown in the video, I
paused the video, to see the drawing.
To follow the argument, we need to find the length of the segment XZ. It
is defined as 1/3 of XY, so what's XY?
First we need the length of AB in the video. This is fairly trivial, but
    let's do it anyway:
    2*AB^2 = (2R)^2 = 4
    => AB^2 = 2
    => AB = sqrt(2)
Now, to get XY we need to calculate the height of the circle-segment
    above AB:
    XY = 1 - sqrt(1^2 - ((AB)^2/4))
We know that AB = sqrt(2), so AB^2 = 2, so we end up with
    XY = 1 - sqrt(1 - 1/2) = 0.292893218
    XZ is 1/3 of XY => 0.097631072
Now we can get the radius of the inner circle:
    OZ = 1 - (2*XZ) = 0.80473855
Our inner circle therefore has an area of
    A = Pi*OZ^2 = 2.034504875
Knowing that the square has a side length of sqrt2, its area is equal to
    2. Pretty close for a 3.5 thousand year old text. But sadly not the
    proof we were hoping for.
If you're interested in reading more about this topic, here's a proof
that it's impossible to construct a square of the same area as a circle
using only straight edge and compass (which is the original problem).
    www.geom.uiuc.edu/docs/forum/square_circle/
It assumes that Pi is not a transcendental number (which means, Pi
cannot be constructed from any polynomial that is made from rational
numbers). That proof was given in the so called Lindemann-Weierstrass
theorem in 1882, which I yet have to understand. It's a bit more complex
than the proofs we've been looking at so far.

We all know that the Vedas are multiple thousands of years old. But, we need solid and conclusive evidence to say that. There's some evidence here and there ranging from 1000BCE (which is fully BS) upto 20,000BCE. But so far no one has fully put it together yet.
So, for the sake of not looking like an idiot, it's best to either
      1. Get the evidence first into a structured format.
      OR
      2. Say "conservatively dated to", which is being done here.

@@sevehrsevehr6001 Astronomically, the stars move in certain directions for certain time periods and they move VERY slowly.
You can trace where they would have been at certain times.
Hindu texts are very keen at recording the positions of major stars and constellations in the night sky when the text is being written. Such as is done in the Vedas, Ramayana, Mahabharata and many other older texts (although, not so much in the newer ones that date upto 2000 years before now).
So, using a good software, and by having a good understanding of Hindu astronomy and Sanskrit, you can trace back the exact years, possibly months and even the days when that observation could have been recorded. As the stars would only be in those positions described in the texts for certain periods of time.
And, according to संगित शर्मा the observations of the stars in Shri Rig Veda points to 9400 years ago.
I'd recommend that you look into the work done by Nilesh Oak regarding dating of various major texts. He utilises astronomy pretty heavily and goes into a good amount of detail as well. Although, you will definitely need to spend few tens of hours to fully understand the astronomical areas he covers.
Personally, I haven't looked into this yet, so I wouldn't know how accurate or feasible this is.

There is some much more. I 1st started learning about this in 5th grade, some 40 years ago. I was studying historical linguistic and religious origins (I was/am a dork) when I began learning about India's History., something, as far as I know to this day, no American school teaches about. I think the only time my school mentioned India, was in context of Columbus trying to find a new route to it when he discovered America. I have had so many fights with schoolteachers growing up, & now with my kid's teachers, because they still teach that " Judea Christian" biblical account of coming from Eden (cradle of civilization (Tigris & Euphrates) and then migrating up & East to America as they advanced. It is in stark contrast to both the logical and historical evidence. The "scientific" communities (& by extension the rest of society), ignore anything that doesn't fit their Pre-existing narrative. history is written by the victors. Every religion and culture in the world have an origin story where some sort of natural disaster causing them to flee or migrate. When people migrate, they naturally tend to head west as it provides the most amount of light following the setting sun. Cave paintings in Australia, Papa New Guinea, and Vietnam, follow a chronological order. While the first written text was found in China, the oldest written language and religion are from India. Baudhayana Sutras In India was the first to figure out the Sun was on an 11-year cycle, allowing them to accurately predict the Monsoon seasons & weather need for the planting and harvesting of crops. This technological leap from nomadic Hunter gatherers into farmers, caused a huge spike in the population and sparked an agricultural revolution leading to advancements in architecture as new temples and dwellings were built to accommodate them. India, with its huge coastlines & multiple natural ship harbors was centrally located on the trade routes between various seafaring civilizations, & quickly became the world's largest trading center as well as considered Center for the entire world. At the time, India was the leader in Textiles (clothes dye), Horticulture (partially Herbs & Spices but also medicinal plants some of which were uniquely indigenously to India), & Glass manufacturing a process which was most likely first discovered in Southern India and whose glass beads have since been discovered all over the world, including South America. The Egyptian pyramids, Greek monuments, Babylonian Hanging Gardens & Aztec temples, all were only possible because of the astrologic, mathematical & botanical knowledge traders learned while trading there. in addition to all of that Sumerian religion which was later adapted into the Egyptian & Jewish religions where most likely some kind of hybrid adaption of Vedas. Basically, although not where the "1st" man came from (A now non-existent Island located between Australia and Antartica), it IS where basically EVERYTHING else DID! (Probably because they made the best Bhang (another 1st for India)🤣)
