We have it in Lithuania as our ancient symbol. You probably know that Lithuanian language is closest to the Sanskrit. Our Gods were too, very close to the Vedic Gods, even their names.

This is the most interesting, do you have any reference for this? Swasthika symbol predates Hinduism, Vedic writings and even Sanskrit. In original Indo-European culture and mythology it meant the wheel of life, each side representing one essential element of universe and life, fire, earth, wind, water. American indigenous people never met Indians or Veda scripts or hymns, but they share shamanistic culture with early Indo-Europeans in the steppes such as Scythians, Iranians, ... as their ancestors were in contact in northeastern steppes. This could mean the symbol existed much further back in time, perhaps as far back as when first Siberian tribes moved into North America

@@amreshlaldas236I mostly agree with you. I wasn't claiming Aryans were evil, I was pointing out the term has been hijacked in the west and maligned much like the Swasthika. I also disagree India was the original homeland of Arya tribes, it's been pretty established the homeland was somewhere in the steppes near Caspian sea, with recent research pinpointing more in southern Caucasus region. In that area there is still ruins of a fire temple as the birth place of Zarathustra. Some scholars hypothesized that the main drift that lead to start of the migrations out of the homeland was caused by appearance of a new belief system started by Zarathustra, this is backed up by recent archeological finds that supports a relatively sudden change in culture and rituals of Arya tribes in that area. Most Iranian tribes side accepted a form of Zarathustra/Mithraism like code of living whereas other Arya tribes (later called Saka/Scythians) mostly remained with older belief system. the two major groups drifted and remained in sometimes conflict as you also mentioned with asur and divas and the conflict over them. Persians were a sub-tribe of the Iranian side that later took the Zarathustra code to a new level and institutionalize it with state affairs. Vedas in India and Gothas of Zarathustra in Iran in written form are probably the oldest source but they most certainly existed in Hymns and spoken forms for thousand years prior to be written down and for sure as they were being written, local influence and changes were implied to them. The written forms are fairly new (only ~2500 BC) whereas the spoken and art forms probably go back 3000yrs or so prior to when vedas and gothas were finally written down. American Indians Knowledge of Swathika and its meaning/purpose pushes back this perhaps yet another 5000yrs to being at least in existence around 10k BCE or even further back. that's the most new intriguing part I believe that require more research and could reveal and unknown part of human history.

A more spiritual and direct interpretation is that we have the polarity of the universe symbolized by the vertical and horizontal line which may represent shiva and shakti. When the cross turns it creates those flares. So its not a static symbol. This turning movement represents the transcendence of the polarity of this relative world towards unification or seeing the universe as one. Hence its validity across cultures and continents as one of the earliest symbols in history.

Even Germans say that 'swastika' does not sound German, yet many think that the word is German. Roman villas often have swastikas worked into the decorations; Italica near Seville in Spain has some excellent examples. I am pleased to hear 'aryan' pronounced correctly, with the first A pronounced as an A, not an E, 8:48 and elsewhere.

I subscribed just for this video alone. This is quality content. Glad to see someone explaining the Swastika in its TRUE context. Too many racists have abused this similar over the centuries. It's a true tragedy that on online chats, even Indians subscribe to the Aryan invasion delusion. How low do you have to go, to identify with the very people that raped your culture, stole your identity, reduced you from a royal and noble people and rewrote your historical identity as a highly advanced ancient civilization, into a lie that your people are backwards and savage people. To disregard such a noble and intelligent people to such an extent, to think so little of them as human beings, that you would go so far as to say that whatever advancements Indians may have discovered, was not because of Indians but because of the Aryan invasion lie. Such is the extent of the monstrosity of Aryan racism.

    • @photinodecay
      @photinodecay Před 2 lety +1

The subjugation of Sudras under the 3 higher castes is the result of the Aryan Invasion. The state of the world today is not a lie. The Indo-European civilizations did the same thing in Europe, and the philosophy is captured in the creation myths that are shared from the Celts to the Norse to the Hindus. The Zoroastrians were the only ones who tried to rewrite the violent subjugation of indigenous populations out of the stories.

Really enjoyed this video ,very informative . Just a clarification when it comes to the Greek name of swastika. All letters and numbers in Greek have a mystical meaning. So although tetragamnadion may sound like just a descriptive meaning of the symbol if we look at the mystical meaning of the letter gamma and tessera (4) then we have an interesting meaning of the symbol . One of the mystical meanings of The letter gamma is that of ‘birth’ . Tressera symbolise amongst other things ‘completion’ , ‘solid’ , 4 elements , the unshakable.
So the Greek name is both descriptive of the shape of the symbol and of the hidden meaning of swastika.

Yeah our civilization dnt look cool in their eyes so we are in ruin... they forcefully try to put everything in a single timeline which made the most of the history distorted. Its more like things might be older than 2000 years but they placed it in 1500 and then the thing happened is that across india we couldn't find what came before and what came after. Every architecture history is clashing in the limited time span
But inplace of sorting history getting to true Hinduism our youth is kinda busy in giving lectures like jai Santana Dharma, i guess rather than fighting with other things we need to sort our history first which can bring the real picture of our religion ( our religion is more of good moral philosophies which is little different to other religions). The one we are taking as religion is half the picture many still considers mahabharata and ramayana a myth when archeological facts are coming up them to be actually a history rather than myth.
I guess it will take many years to sort out the timeline and find real knowledge but I am hopeful as people started to think out of the box and started to connect the dots from myths to evidences
Except those who are fighting with other religion, I think rather than fighting we should find our history

If thousands of years ago, Indian civilization was at its peak, and now if focused and its history glorified and revived, there would be no stopping India from re-gaining that lost glory. Hence they suppressed anything good or great about Indian civilization and botched it up with concocted theories to downplay their historical achievements. The sad part is that, not only the West, but even several Indians bought into this.

The Nazi took the swastika and made it represent evil, yet its origin comes from Ancient Armenia. It means star shadow in Armenian and it represents the Armenian god AR..the same god/Ar as in Cesar meaning half god half man..ces means half in Armenian just as cosmo mean organized as the Armenian were the first to observe the cosmos.....Aryan means people of Ar (god)
Yan is armenian for offspring as most armenian names end with yan or ian..........If interested....let me quote Merrick (2012) All religions are descended from and ancient Vedic cosmology described in the Rib - Veda, originating in Armenia near Mt. Ararat at least 6800 ys ago and the basic concepts of a transcendental mountain extending into space and populated planet Star-gods were developed...he further says...This Astrotheology then migrated with Armenian Aryans to found the Sumerian Ethiopian/Egyptian and Indian civilizations and religions...from Language as a fingerprint Setyan...
.Rothman, quoted said...''All that was known in Mesopotamia came from Armenia and that Armenia is the absent fragment in the entire mosaic of the ancient world's civilization's construction. according to Anthropologist Mitchell S. Rothman regarding the extent of discoveries and specially on the quality of horse bones proved, According to him, that it was from the Shangavit Armenian 6000 years ago that the culture of that area spread around to the ancient world...

The first known depiction of a swastika was carved into mammoth tusk 12,000 years old found in Mezine Ukraine by a Sun worshipping culture, the swastika is commonly known as a sun wheel. It's origin is NOT Indian or Tibetan. It is European in origin. THAT is "the untold story." Vedic is an Indo-European aka Aryan, language that was brough to India and Iran by Steppe Europeans. Dharmic religion is not "the oldest religion in the world." Zoroastrianism written in Gathic Avestan which is a Vedic language is OLDER than Classical Sanskrit.

@@trollarasan Hitler was an occultist so he knew how to misappropriate the swastika into the Haken Kreuz. Yes it was the hooked cross and disseminated from the greek Gammadion... but to people who understand the occult and work with sigil magick, we understand that symbols are not benign, as intention is programmed into them across the ages. These symbols can be used to evoke good or bad (and other things)...Lightworkers for example use reiki symbols to heal. These symbols act as portals that unlock divine energy into our reality.
My theory is that Hitler knew the ancient swastika was a powerful symbol of peace and prosperity, so by tilting it he changed the output of that energy to be the opposite. In contrast to the foot of the swatstika, which is grounded, the Haken Kreuz is on an angle and is no longer grounded. It has movement in its presentation and affects the collective consciousness differently. Like a wolf in sheep's clothing, prior to Hitler, people related to the swatstika and understood its well meaning intention and so naturally they'd be drawn to it and Hitler redirected that energy and powerful intention to dismember humanity from its wholeness.
This is why we need to continue to educate and positively meditate on the original swastika to restore the peaceful intention of the symbol in our collective consciousness. This is probably why ancient sages drew this symbol everywhere, they also knew the energy behind it and wanted to bless humanity with it. When we understand the symbol again and nurture our collective consciousness, we will heal from the inverted aspect that was set forth by the last anti-christ....ofc this is all from an occultist perspective.

It was HAKEN KREUZ aka hooked cross of Christianity nothing to do with the Hindu/Buddhist symbol swastika.
The hooked cross is associated with the second coming of Jesus. Next, this symbol was adopted from ancient Celtics by Christianity.
This symbol had a different meaning in Europe depending on the region.

@@trollarasan I'm not blaming innocents. Do you not know how to read? I'm a Buddhist , so why the hell would I insult my own culture? Do you really think Hitler was so stupid that he did not know what the swastika was? Do you think signs are benign? Most people think they are benign, but if you work with energy and symbols like I do, you know they are not. And this is the keypoint: IT DOESNT MATTER IF ITS CALLED A SWATSTIKA OR A HAKEN KREUZ. Symbols are energetically programmed throughout the ages and times...magick does not stop just because of national borders...in the same way that Christians adopt pagan symbols and people still practice some of the rituals now unknowingly, thusly the momentum of magickal energy around said ritual/symbol still remains. And just because a culture adopts a symbols/ritual doesn't negate the energetic memory from the usage of other cultures.
In magick, you can learn to use the programmed energy of the symbol for either good or bad. The point being because the swastika was used in a POSITIVE WAY for generations, it's been programmed to have A LOT of energy. So a black magick practioner can by intention manipulate that energy by reconfiguring the symbol and direct it towards their intention. There are both socio-psychological AND magickal reasons for this. You may not understand that, but as a Buddhist and a witch myself, I know how this stuff works from that perspective. It's been well documented that Hitler was an occultist and I clearly stated that this is my theory based on my own knowledge of occult practices. So get off your high horse. The westerners, abrahamic supremacists and anti-Indians of today are trying their best to disconnect Hindu symbols and practices from Hinduism, the best example being the westernization of Yoga, Bindi, saree, meditation, Chakras, third eye concept, etc. (all of these are exclusively Hindu practices.) Then comes the blatantly wrong & flawed Aryan Invasion theory. keep uploading such informative content, learnt a lot. Also, it is important to mention that Hitler never even once used the word "Swastika", he referred to his Nazi symbol as the "Hakencreuz" which means "Hooked cross" which is a Christian symbol. Hitler actually appropriated the Christian symbol of Hakencreuz and not the Hindu symbol of Swastika. We did learn that 0 came originally from Arabia, but it actually came from India. I wish I could study, the old Vedic scriptures and speak Sanskrit. Neither was less savage than the other, though we are taught that the Nazis were an awful regime, whereas we are not really taught what the British did during colonialism.

I have seen another explaination of swastik i.e. it represents the continuity of life and it is originated from astrology, as we all know the dhruv star is the center around which all other stars seems to go round from earth and the dhruva remains still.... so the saptrisi mandal moves around the dhruv star and in four different seasons saptrisi is present on the four sides of dhruv star which overall forms swastika in a whole year.

The whole of Asia from China to japan has Indian cultures.
      It's really what colonialists wrote.
Totally wrong it's the opposite Roma gypsies are Indian people who moved to Europe, not the opposite.
Sanskrit and swastika are Indian, not European that's a shameless attempt to lay claim on someone else's culture.
Give me proof of where nazis or Europeans called it swastika.
Basically, they never called it swastika they had their own name.
It's purely from India otherwise why use the Indian name.
Sanskrit is purely Indian as we could see Sanskrit script even in japan but not in Europe.

Great video thank you for the information and such a detailed explanation. I pretty much knew all this, and just want to mention that swastika is even older than what you showed in the video. In the 20th century, an archeologist discovered a long lost civilization in Serbia which is now known as Vincha culture. This culture is around 8,000 years old and the most amazing part of it are Vincha symbols that many believe (among which some very well known scientists) is the oldest writing in the world. Swastika is one of the symbols among Vincha symbols.
Another interesting realization is that Serbian language (and other similar languages in Balkans) and Sanskrit have more in common than Sanskrit and Hindi for instance (I read somewhere there are more than 300 same words), which is unbelievable taking the fact that Serbia is located in South-Eastern Europe, so far from India. But after reading some books about migrations of people in prehistory from Africa, Balkans, Middle East, India and Russian steppes, along with the Vincha symbols, there must be some undiscovered connection between the Balkan people and Indian people, which I hope gets discovered in our life time.

The dynamic movement is represented by the "hooks" attached to each line. This dynamic movement is the spiritual transcendence representing the unity or oneness of this universe. As if by an invisible intuitive force it spread all over the world and found its way even to the indigenous Hopi tribe in Arizona.... Or we have to assume that some ancient indian seafarers brought it to various continents....Could be another subject of your great research !

Thus swastika makes a perfect symbol of human journey in this life. Shiva and Shakti are not represented by lines but by triangles.

As shown in the video it dates back antiquity. Just because an idiot has abused it does not mean the humanity abstain using it. Its use should be encouraged.

      Swastika = from “ Swar “ and “ Swarga “ = Sanskrit = haven , paradise.

Swastika is older than Sanskrit ...that is a new language when compared to others ...It is not even Indian. Indus river was border line of India and Aryana ...Even the name of India is not Indian nor the name of Indus is Indian. It is Sind, a large body of water in old Persian: Sind bad Jehazi ..Aryana descended some 5,000 years ago, when Bharat was a combination many many self governing states with their own languages and culture. It was also the first use of Shuddar ...India's oldest society was in Mehrgarth, 9,000 years ago. There is no sign of Swastika. The second is Harappa, no sign of Swastika, third Mohenjodaro, no sign of Swastika, however, Chinese and Japanese have Swastika in their Culture ..from time Immemorial. It has two faces: right and left with two opposite meanings.
