- Hi, meatheads! In this video, Coach MANdler takes you through a kettlebell-based cardio strength training routine that will help you build strength WHILE burning a ton of fat!

0:29 - Goblet Squat (5 reps - 3 reps - 1 rep - 3 reps - 5 reps)

2:02 - Alternating From Top Floor Press (3 sets : 5 reps / arm)
2:24 - Alternating From Bottom Floor Press (3 sets : 5 reps / arm)
2:46 - Floor Press (3 sets : 5 reps)
3:00 - Cheat Rows (3 sets : 10 reps)
3:19 - Rack Carry (3 sets : 100 ft.)
{Rest 3 minutes between rounds}
3:55 - Single Arm Overhead Strict Press (3 sets : 5 reps / arm)
4:08 - Anti-Lateral Flexion Squat (3 sets : 5 reps / side)
4:21 - Single Arm Rack Carry (3 sets : 50 ft. / arm)
4:38 - Single Arm Farmers Walk (3 sets : 50 ft. / arm)

at age 60, i do total body, 3 x per week. These are great for me. Don't have a lot of space for equipment so I love kettlebells

I train both split and full body, depending on my program for the month. Personally I prefer total body workouts. I like to weave your split workouts into into my erg days as intervals ... this one will be a stand-alone for sure.

Damn!!! This is getting added to my rotation for sure. Perfect timing as I’m coming due for a change-up. Question: my biggest challenge with KB is choosing an appropriate weight. When choosing my KB size, should I be choosing a weight that I max out on the assigned reps? Or should I be targeting a % of that max? Thanks for all the work you do on these videos. This is one of my favorite subs.

Paul Craven LOL!! I know the feeling... I’m 51. I wish I took care of myself when I was younger like I do now. If I did, I’d look like @chandlermarchman right now .... I can run circles around my 23 y/o son... Not so much in brute strength, but Kettlebells have given me strength-endurance and pain tolerance for days... Merry Christmas

How many times per week can this workout be done
Just to clarify, are the 3 phases done as one giant workout or are they meant to be done in 3 separate workouts? If done as an all in one routine, how much rest time do you suggest between phases? Thank You and Merry Christmas!!
I believe each phase is separate workout. Just judging from his other routines, about 1-3 minutes between sets and I'd say as much or as little as you want between phases since you'd have to setup anyway.
I love your workouts! I would greatly appreciate if you could please upload a video and provide details on wider squats with 50 pound kettle. I am a female and my height is 5,4 and weight is 126 pounds! I don't know how to properly lift a 50 pound kettle. I don't want to injure my neck and back and therefore I am asking you.
Do not go that heavy,you are only 126 lbs-lift accordingly to your weight and strength-I would guess 25-30lbs for you-but this was 3 months ago and I am sure you have already figured this out,I would hope so-you will get injured trying to lift 50lb kettlebell.he is at least 240 he can handle that much weight.

Thank you, Johan. I have stopped lifting 50 pounds kettle because my neck started to ache. I only lift 30 pounds nowadays. I am 57 KG now and I want to drop from 57 to 52Kg. How do I do that?

This looks very hard, but I like the fact that you only do 5 reps to each side. I have a 28KG kettlebell that I will use and at 40 year old now, I am done with heavy lifting. Bodyweight and Kettlebell stuff for me from now on.
We dont lift heavy anymore brother-those days are over-You only set yourself up for injury at our age-Im 52 and still going strong/smarter:)

I really enjoyed this video and I'm going to do it. However, I have some questions. On the "Squats" section, can I just hold the squat position with the kettlebell? I ask because I have so knee challenges with my left knee?
Try box squats instead. They're great for mitigating knee pain during the squat.

Nope. Just one round of the entire ladder set. After you do that, you do the other 2 circuits (3 rounds apiece of those though)...
How often should you do this in a week?
As much as you like so long as you match it with equal parts rest and quality nutrition required to recover from it..
How much weight for 5’5 and 160 lbs?
D B That really depends more on your level of strength and conditioning more so than your height or weight.
What size kettlebell is being used?

You can my friend, I started out with the same last year, I have lost over 30lbs, gained strength and muscle. Don't focus on going to the next weight but on doing the work. Following the intensity/density format coach promote s will get you there.
how much rest between each phase?
Usually rest 2-3 minutes between each round of circuits, and 3-4 minutes between each phase of the workout.
