Hi Caleb, thanks for this one. Additionally, I only can advise to use the customer settings when doing video work and save your settings. There are way too many parameters to regard and you may overlook or forget one and your video shootings can get useless pretty fast.
Especially the parameter "HDMI Rec Output" - "Info Display = OFF" should part of your preferred settings stored in the customer settings !!! ... as I learned the hard way today :-)

Writing as of Nov 2020, and despite being allured towards the a7s3, I just can't justify switching due to the high cost of the sony body and an all-new very expensive lens system as a non-pro. Does the NINJA V comes with a cable in the box cappable to transmit 4K/60fps? Do I really need to buy another one? I'm confused.

YO! Quick tip for getting HDMI Recording Control un-grayed out. Go to Time Code (found below your Frame rates in the Motion Picture menu - camera icon) and at the bottom of Time Code menu is HDMI Time Code Output - turn that to ON. Credit: czcams.com/video/7cqOIq74Pnc/video.html
And make sure in the Ninja to turn the HDMI control to On. My Ninja V unchecked that when I did it and had to turn it back on.
