I don't understand why they haven't been sued. On so many different levels. #1) pack weight and the black box that exists with regard to your chances of getting a player. It's gambling for real monetary value and should be regulated like gambling and 2) if ANY kind of dynamic difficulty, momentum, etc, exists in the game - if there is a handicap - then EA should be sued for selling packs and advertising better players make a difference, when in fact it might actually do the complete opposite - make momentum shift against you. Enough is enough. This is a true crime being perpetrated by EA sports

Can you with me let me explain, statistically the 45th and 90th minute can last 4-5 minutes in a real game with injury time. Ea try to recreate this with the half and full time goals. Difference is fifa is 20 minutes per game not 90 so it becomes really noticeable. Hope that makes sense

I have played every need for speed and they all have a feature of “catch up” where the other cars in the race will become quicker the more you are in the lead in some circumstances. Now as a Fifa player with 1200 games in FIFA 19 it’s the same, everything changes when you take the lead... “handicapping” is a thing and it really should stop. ❤️ you Kurt🙏

broke FIFA I looked into this and emailed EA earlier in the year. I said that surely there’s a gaming commission that can look into this along with gambling authorities as the packs weights are definitely not what they say. The whole game is a gamble on EA sliders. The thing is EA don’t actually post anywhere about gambling and the fact kids play this and can buy packs is a joke.

Kurt i agree with you. I noticed it in fifa 18 but more in fifa 19. This weekend league 5 times i was winning 3 0 between 1 min and 40 mins. Once i scored that 3rd goal my whole squad became dumb. I lost 4 3 in all of them games . Every shot went in or my keeper got a hand to the ball but it still went in. 20 shots was taken after being 3 0 up and 20 shots went in. There is 100% something in fifa. I belive when your up by 3 goals within 1 min to 40 mins thats when the game dynamically adjusts the stats. Thats why a lot of goals are scored in the 45th min. Ive played over a 1000 games now and i do belive something exists in our game to change the feel.

I played a rare gold team on World Class and it was as difficult at times as playing a god squad on legendary. You just know from kick off which way it's going to go. If there is a delay to the kick off you usually lose, if you hit the post multiple times - ditto.

Yeah. You'll see more Messi, Jesus, Lacazette, Aguero headers in a couple of weeks than they've seen in their careers. The one-off header, or a wide open one is tolerable. When it's non-stop and I'm covering it, its literally all the opponent does, even passing up open shots to cross it again... It's just ridiculous and insulting to anyone who's even just kicked a ball around in the street.

Gameplay is so inconsistent, not just on rivals and FUT Champs but even on offline 'online' modes like Squad Battles where you play against a team with 20 chem and it drags your team down a few levels where your 94 rated Iniesta cannot put a straight pass in 5 yards, your tackles are clean yet the ball goes straight to the opponent, finesse shots from your Mbappe or Ronaldo miracle saved by a bronze keeper. Play against a god squad and your team is slick again. I find this on Rivals too but that has a whole new world of pain with servers and kick-off goals and keepers that punch everything and not catch it. All we want from FIFA20 is consistent gameplay, clean tackles that enable you to win the ball, if a player has real pace let him use that pace not handicap him so he gets caught easily by a slow CDM or CB, proper 1 v 1's, proper dribbling - none of this crocodile shit, more time on the ball none of this arcade-style ping pong nonsense, better ball control mechanics, truer ball physics. Maybe we will get some of it but like always it will get fucked up in the first patch.
scripting is there , everytime i'm winning 3-0 in the first half gameplay is perfect, as soon as the second half begins my players feel heavy and the opponent gets better instantly.it happened to me also when i was down by 3-0 against good players , i come back to the second half and my players feel op while my opponent who is far better than me can't defend for shit. i think the gameplay being sluggish is not a server issue it's the scripting that is coded in the core of the game that's why they'll never adress the servers issue because it doens't exist in the first place!
trafalgar gunner I had this last weekend league where i was genuinely held back from playing properly and I was 3-1 down and the bloke I was playing was utterly shit lol come the 75min it’s was like all my players suddenly had a rocket up their arse and destroyed him 7-3 from the 75th. Makes no sense and soooo frustration that regardless of who you play it’s down to the script. Worse thing is noobs actually think their good and dab on you when they score their deflected bullshit goals and you’re defenders have reacted to anything because it’s kick off lol

What do you think of the huge amount of goalkeepers being in rewards and the lack of expensive players. For example in serie a everyone got donnuruma whereas basically no one got niangollan. This is despite ea saying the rewards are based on ratings not market value.

I came here after a career mode championship playoff vs Stoke City. I went up by 2 around the 55th minute and suddenly my players couldn’t pass, shoot, or even sprint like normal. Luckily I was able to put in a shift on defense and play some keep away. It was like playing with 2 different teams

Hi Kurt and thank you for brining up this topic. I started streaming myself on twitch a couple of moths ago. This DDA ( Dynamic difficulty adjustment ) is something every one in my stream are talking about. To be honest at this point of the game at has never been more clear that DDA is absolutely there. Especially in WL and division rivals. I have now played almost 3000 games mostly WL and DR. I stil only end up with between 14-17 wins i WL. I guess after so many games "off practice" you should be able to get better results? I have also spent thousands of EUR in fifa points to get a 194 rated team with all the best players ( Mbappe TOTYm Neymar TOTS, Viera 91, Gullit 93) I got them all. In one game they work and cant play, next game they are like Bronze playes and cant even pass the boll to their teammate. I have played WL drunk after coming home from a night out and played all night. This game me 15 wins. My first WL back in October i got 14 wins. So even if I am drunk or sober I stil get the same result as my first WL ever. After 3000 games on fifa19 I already now from start when I feel my gameplay how it will play out. If I win a WL game 4-0 the next will be a loss with a goal on over time against a player I know I have dominated with shots and posession. I cant higher than div 3 in DR. But playing my friends that are div 1. I win or play equaly good. SO YES THERE ARE DDA IN FIFA19 especially in WL and DR and NOW its even more obvious. Let me also tell you that I opened up the ports for the dedicated servers for FIFA on my router using all cabels etc etc to get max gameplay.. Doesnt matter.. I know what games I get the HANDBRAKE and I know when my opponent gets the boost. I so sad since there are so many good players and FIFA fans out there that are just getting handbraked for new players to get "hooked" on a game they are nor that good at. Peace out

Literally have the perfect example of this...I got a friend of mine who likes football and has casually played fifa in years past since we were kids to play FUT for the first time this year so I can have that friendly competition to keep it fun and push each other to have the best team etc. We play online friendly seasons w/our squads all year, I was up like 27 seasons won 5 lost vs. him, not even close. Then he has had the craziest pack luck I’ve ever seen, packs toty Ramos and sells for 2mil, packs two icons on different occasions! I’ve been playing for yrs. and never packed a single icon, or personally know anyone who has, ever. He was always at least a division behind me but then caught up as his team drastically improved, now we’re both d4 and sometimes d3, not great but not terrible either, better than an avg. player. Now, i shit you not, I’m 30 seasons won, 20 lost vs. him and can’t win a season to save my life anymore w/the most bullshit I’ve ever seen happen on a very regular basis. Just last night we played, was up 2-1 finally going to win again and boom, 93 min. penalty on me when I didn’t even press a tackle button or even contain, just stood in front of him. Ties game, I lose on pens. Neither of us pay/buy fifa pts. and he has 90 Gullit, 93 Eusebio, ucl live vvd, future stars Vinicius etc., just blatantly obvious it’s disgusting. He just laughs and uses the player contain button and out muscles/over powers my team non-stop now and my team is solid. How much more obvious can they get than that?!?

The main "script" of FIFA 19 it's simple to describe. Kickoff goals and last minutes goals are the same problem, in both cases it's way easier to score or concede goals. What I've noticed is that after a kickoff there's 5 minutes "zone" and from the last minute + extra time where it's easy to see: - op shots (even from players with no shooting stats) - poor defending, CB goes wider then usual and sometimes they even try to dodge shots - poor GK that seems to have less reflexes or don't even try to block the shot - poor passing

Bro, I was 3-0 up and then the guy scores really unrealistic first time shots that defy the laws of physics for 4-3, I also had chances to put in a fourth but it hit the post or flew wide. Dynamic scripting is a thing and whoever believes it isn't in the game clearly is on the right end of the script stick.

I was about to hit Elite 3 in Champs for the first time this weekend. Had to win my last 3 of 3. Won game 1. Lost game 2. Won game 3. The game I lost, I lost HARD. 5 - 0. The guy and I got talking after the match and he said he was a Gold 2/Gold 1 player, which means we're roughly of the same level. I swear to God, I just couldn't do anything during that game. My player movement was awful, no forwards runs no nothing. Passing was atrocious, shooting (when I actually had the chance) was crap and tackling just seemed impossible. His players were everywhere - constantly on the move and always in a perfect spot, whether it be attack or defense. My question is, if we're of the same skill level/ability, how the actual game can a game be SOOOOO one sided if there isn't some sort of dynamic difficulty?
We think their intentions are even more selfish and sinister than to keep the game play even, DDA implements a "rubber band" affect that is meant to frustrate players into spending money on the game. There are quite literally millions of users who would testify to experiencing this affect and employees under NDA at EA whose jobs entail manipulation of the consumers trough DDA to increase spending. IT WILL BE MUCH WORSE IN EAFC.
I just lost a game online that left me crying and laughing at the same time. I got 36 shots on net and he only had 4, I hit the post 8 times and nothing went in... my entire team collapsed, passes would go to the wrong player, tackles lost, headers lost with my players that are maxed out on these stats... it was basically impossible to take the ball away from him at one point (100% rigged) What kills me the most is my opponent sucked soo bad... I can feel when scripting or momentum is happening, its so obvious. I wont play fifa anymore because of this

Got FIFA 20, 2 weeks ago. Knew I should’ve listened to the reviews, I’ve already uninstalled. I’ve noticed that I’m constantly getting beat or drawing with players that I’m clearly outplaying, sometimes even reaching around 70% possession with over 10 shots on target more than the other player. At the same time, I’m beating or drawing with players that are clearly better than me. Even my friends that have played FIFA for years have lost against me multiple times after my keeper saves every shot hilarious their’s that may as well no be there. That on top of my Messi our strengthening their Van Djik, lucky rebounds and more. Even winning isn’t fun anymore because how do I know it wasn’t the script that gave me the win? And sometimes I KNOW the script gave me the win.
In FIFA 18, I checked the win-loss ratio of every opponent I felt robbed me for the win, and the rest of the losses. Only approx. 5% of my opponents had a fairly equal or better win-loss ratio than mine. The rest approx. 95% had a significantly lower win-loss ratio, many with a little better or worse than 1:1, and some below. My win-ratio was 563 - 96-194, or 3:1 . The losses often came in series of "loose streaks" when starting a new season with horrible unresponsive gameplay.
There is definatley some form of scripting in fifa, why not just use skill based match making to a certain extent and just let 2 good players play a normal game of fifa

I’ve had my worst Win Loss ratio ever I used to have average 3-1 now it’s more 1.5 - 1 but I’ve had the best luck I’ve ever had in packs I think it’s no fluke
I play a lot of 2v1 with my brother as guest. We also experience this a lot. It goes well or its goes bad. If it goes well, you play against people that have a bad record. if you don't play well (according to fifa ...) you play against people with a good record. This will result in W-W-W-W-L-L-L-L-L. Like one day FIFA is helping you and the next day FIFA is destroying you. And it's not just me, almost every player we play against, have this. A normal record like W-D-W-L-D is so rare nowadays.
It's exactly about people rage quitting the game. And what happens then? NO MORE CASH! This is especially true for children. They are the future of the game. If they rage quit and don't come back that's the future sales screwed. It's not about being nice, it's about MONEY!
One thing that many people have actual proof of, is when some shots feel like the sliders have turned up massively when they go in like a rocket but normally you know when u do those shots the ball moves a bit slower (even if its a goal anyway).
Great vid I had already decided I wasn't buying fifa next year due to the TOTS sbc fucking scandal(in my opinion) everyone getting the same core of players when doing the sbc tells me everything about the packs!
not even kidding. i raged and uninstalled this game after losing to noobs due to unfair gameplay and my players feeling like bronze players in the last wl. i came back after 4 days opened my squad battles rewards from last week and got 98 neymar from a 50k pack, immediately sold it for 7 mil and started playing the game again. the algorithm somehow gave me good pack luck so i could continue playing the game and hopefully order fifa20.
There is definitively something fishy in there. The easiest is to play regularly against opponents of varying skill levels offline. I play online division 7 (no Fifa ultimate, real teams) and at a given moment I was in division 3 as I was playing every day. I sometimes go to division 6, then up to 7. I also play often against by 8 years old son offline, which is division 9 or so. He regularly beats me, easily around 50% of the time. Our score over time tends to 50%. I miss open low driven shots alone against the keeper all the time 1vs1. He scores first touch shots outside the box all the time. I definitively think that there is a balancing effect

I don't understand why they haven't been sued. On so many different levels. #1) pack weight and the black box that exists with regard to your chances of getting a player. It's gambling for real monetary value and should be regulated like gambling and 2) if ANY kind of dynamic difficulty, momentum, etc, exists in the game - if there is a handicap - then EA should be sued for selling packs and advertising better players make a difference, when in fact it might actually do the complete opposite - make momentum shift against you. Enough is enough. This is a true crime being perpetrated by EA sports

Can you with me let me explain, statistically the 45th and 90th minute can last 4-5 minutes in a real game with injury time. Ea try to recreate this with the half and full time goals. Difference is fifa is 20 minutes per game not 90 so it becomes really noticeable. Hope that makes sense

I have played every need for speed and they all have a feature of “catch up” where the other cars in the race will become quicker the more you are in the lead in some circumstances. broke FIFA I looked into this and emailed EA earlier in the year. I said that surely there’s a gaming commission that can look into this along with gambling authorities as the packs weights are definitely not what they say. The whole game is a gamble on EA sliders. Kurt i agree with you. I noticed it in fifa 18 but more in fifa 19. This weekend league 5 times i was winning 3 0 between 1 min and 40 mins.
Once i scored that 3rd goal my whole squad became dumb. I lost 4 3 in all of them games . Every shot went in or my keeper got a hand to the ball but it still went in. 20 shots was taken after being 3 0 up and 20 shots went in. There is 100% something in fifa.
I belive when your up by 3 goals within 1 min to 40 mins thats when the game dynamically adjusts the stats. Thats why a lot of goals are scored in the 45th min.
Ive played over a 1000 games now and i do belive something exists in our game to change the feel.

I played a rare gold team on World Class and it was as difficult at times as playing a god squad on legendary. You just know from kick off which way it's going to go. If there is a delay to the kick off you usually lose, if you hit the post multiple times - ditto.

Gameplay is so inconsistent, not just on rivals and FUT Champs but even on offline 'online' modes like Squad Battles where you play against a team with 20 chem and it drags your team down a few levels where your 94 rated Iniesta cannot put a straight pass in 5 yards, your tackles are clean yet the ball goes straight to the opponent, finesse shots from your Mbappe or Ronaldo miracle saved by a bronze keeper. Play against a god squad and your team is slick again.
I find this on Rivals too but that has a whole new world of pain with servers and kick-off goals and keepers that punch everything and not catch it.
All we want from FIFA20 is consistent gameplay, clean tackles that enable you to win the ball, if a player has real pace let him use that pace not handicap him so he gets caught easily by a slow CDM or CB, proper 1 v 1's, proper dribbling - none of this crocodile shit, more time on the ball none of this arcade-style ping pong nonsense, better ball control mechanics, truer ball physics. Maybe we will get some of it but like always it will get fucked up in the first patch.
oh I forgot - manual defending. Why should we have our CDMS running around doing this when the moment we switch to a CB we are fucked.
scripting is there , everytime i'm winning 3-0 in the first half gameplay is perfect, as soon as the second half begins my players feel heavy and the opponent gets better instantly.it happened to me also when i was down by 3-0 against good players , i come back to the second half and my players feel op while my opponent who is far better than me can't defend for shit. i think the gameplay being sluggish is not a server issue it's the scripting that is coded in the core of the game that's why they'll never adress the servers issue because it doens't exist in the first place!
trafalgar gunner I had this last weekend league where i was genuinely held back from playing properly and I was 3-1 down and the bloke I was playing was utterly shit lol come the 75min it’s was like all my players suddenly had a rocket up their arse and destroyed him 7-3 from the 75th. 100% reason why alot of bounces happen and random tackles and lunges ,we are the user but EA makes us feel aided or unable .
Like for example I get sone games where I can pass fine shoot and feel reward in the box and boom few games later in same day I'm unable to pass or score and cleary see my opponent get awful passes and shots work 😂😂😂

I came here after a career mode championship playoff vs Stoke City. I went up by 2 around the 55th minute and suddenly my players couldn’t pass, shoot, or even sprint like normal. Luckily I was able to put in a shift on defense and play some keep away. It was like playing with 2 different teams

Hi Kurt and thank you for brining up this topic. I started streaming myself on twitch a couple of moths ago. This DDA ( Dynamic difficulty adjustment ) is something every one in my stream are talking about. To be honest at this point of the game at has never been more clear that DDA is absolutely there. Especially in WL and division rivals. I have now played almost 3000 games mostly WL and DR. I stil only end up with between 14-17 wins i WL. I guess after so many games "off practice" you should be able to get better results? I have also spent thousands of EUR in fifa points to get a 194 rated team with all the best players ( Mbappe TOTYm Neymar TOTS, Viera 91, Gullit 93) I got them all. In one game they work and cant play, next game they are like Bronze playes and cant even pass the boll to their teammate. I have played WL drunk after coming home from a night out and played all night. This game me 15 wins. My first WL back in October i got 14 wins. So even if I am drunk or sober I stil get the same result as my first WL ever. After 3000 games on fifa19 I already now from start when I feel my gameplay how it will play out. If I win a WL game 4-0 the next will be a loss with a goal on over time against a player I know I have dominated with shots and posession. I cant higher than div 3 in DR. But playing my friends that are div 1. I win or play equaly good. SO YES THERE ARE DDA IN FIFA19 especially in WL and DR and NOW its even more obvious. Let me also tell you that I opened up the ports for the dedicated servers for FIFA on my router using all cabels etc etc to get max gameplay.. Doesnt matter.. I know what games I get the HANDBRAKE and I know when my opponent gets the boost. I so sad since there are so many good players and FIFA fans out there that are just getting handbraked for new players to get "hooked" on a game they are nor that good at.

Crafty Paddy I switched to PES 2 months ago, never been this satisfied with a football game. PES19 is a symphony of football, it’s so nice and fluent I love it. Respect to fifa players and pes players. This is just my opinion, your choice is your choice

Same Michael Jackson moonwalking animations to the football. And yes scripting is in both games, but to tell your fans that it is in a pay-to-win game is downright despicable. Maybe high blood pressure and stress are cool to some people, but not to me. Many will still get this game even if our beloved Kurt and IS tell you Fifa 20 is trash. Some people love abuse I guess.
Absolute quality, people think I'm crazy who only play FIFA casually, I get called a bad loser when I lose to my trash friends (I'm a G1 player) but I have 2000+ games in FIFA 19, THERE IS SOMETHING IN THIS GAME 100% THAT CHANGES GAMEPLAY!

Literally have the perfect example of this...I got a friend of mine who likes football and has casually played fifa in years past since we were kids to play FUT for the first time this year so I can have that friendly competition to keep it fun and push each other to have the best team etc. We play online friendly seasons w/our squads all year, I was up like 27 seasons won 5 lost vs. him, not even close. Then he has had the craziest pack luck I’ve ever seen, packs toty Ramos and sells for 2mil, packs two icons on different occasions! I’ve been playing for yrs. and never packed a single icon, or personally know anyone who has, ever. He was always at least a division behind me but then caught up as his team drastically improved, now we’re both d4 and sometimes d3, not great but not terrible either, better than an avg. player. Now, i shit you not, I’m 30 seasons won, 20 lost vs. him and can’t win a season to save my life anymore w/the most bullshit I’ve ever seen happen on a very regular basis. Just last night we played, was up 2-1 finally going to win again and boom, 93 min. penalty on me when I didn’t even press a tackle button or even contain, just stood in front of him. Ties game, I lose on pens. Neither of us pay/buy fifa pts. and he has 90 Gullit, 93 Eusebio, ucl live vvd, future stars Vinicius etc., just blatantly obvious it’s disgusting. He just laughs and uses the player contain button and out muscles/over powers my team non-stop now and my team is solid. How much more obvious can they get than that?!?

The main "script" of FIFA 19 it's simple to describe.
Kickoff goals and last minutes goals are the same problem, in both cases it's way easier to score or concede goals.
What I've noticed is that after a kickoff there's 5 minutes "zone" and from the last minute + extra time where it's easy to see:
- op shots (even from players with no shooting stats)
- poor defending, CB goes wider then usual and sometimes they even try to dodge shots
- poor GK that seems to have less reflexes or don't even try to block the shot
- poor passing

I believe it is. Do you know that fifa 15 now is about same as fifa 17/18? The slow gameplay. Last time i remember it is fast gameplay. Kickoff is also there.
Bro, I was 3-0 up and then the guy scores really unrealistic first time shots that defy the laws of physics for 4-3, I also had chances to put in a fourth but it hit the post or flew wide. Dynamic scripting is a thing and whoever believes it isn't in the game clearly is on the right end of the script stick.
It would be fun to ask every game if this 'dynamic difficulty' is present. Just to see the answer of the other EA games as well.

EA is a public company and it therefore has one objective - make a return for shareholders. Therefore I’m pretty sure their biggest challenge is retaining active gamers. What’s the best way to retain active gamers? Give them a little help. Make them feel good. Make them think hey I’m not that bad I’m improving. This is ok when FIFA was a casual fun game but the world has now changed. Fifa is now a professional eSport where people’s livelihoods depend on it. How can gaming logic be more transparent in the age of AI?

I was about to hit Elite 3 in Champs for the first time this weekend. Had to win my last 3 of 3. Won game 1. Lost game 2. Won game 3. The game I lost, I lost HARD. 5 - 0. The guy and I got talking after the match and he said he was a Gold 2/Gold 1 player, which means we're roughly of the same level. I swear to God, I just couldn't do anything during that game. My player movement was awful, no forwards runs no nothing. Passing was atrocious, shooting (when I actually had the chance) was crap and tackling just seemed impossible. His players were everywhere - constantly on the move and always in a perfect spot, whether it be attack or defense. My question is, if we're of the same skill level/ability, how the actual game can a game be SOOOOO one sided if there isn't some sort of dynamic difficulty?
We think their intentions are even more selfish and sinister than to keep the game play even, DDA implements a "rubber band" affect that is meant to frustrate players into spending money on the game. There are quite literally millions of users who would testify to experiencing this affect and employees under NDA at EA whose jobs entail manipulation of the consumers trough DDA to increase spending. IT WILL BE MUCH WORSE IN EAFC.
I just lost a game online that left me crying and laughing at the same time. I got 36 shots on net and he only had 4, I hit the post 8 times and nothing went in... my entire team collapsed, passes would go to the wrong player, tackles lost, headers lost with my players that are maxed out on these stats... it was basically impossible to take the ball away from him at one point (100% rigged) What kills me the most is my opponent sucked soo bad... I can feel when scripting or momentum is happening, its so obvious. I wont play fifa anymore because of this

It’s hilarious how they shoot down threads on their official forums and then threaten to ban folks for discussing the obvious thing that is scripting/momentum/handicap/sliders/etc, etc. Anyone with half a gaming brain can see there’s something rotten in this game. We’ve all been gaming long enough to know when something stinks of shit! Can’t believe they let that community manager issue that statement saying that the DD is there to help players that are not very good. They’ve confirmed what we’ve all suspected - there’s something in the game that stinks! But, true EA fashion he goes on to say we can’t discuss it, or should I say, we’re not allowed to say it as it is! The cat is out the bag! EA are like the liar that has been found out but still tries to lie, deny and refuse! And why? Well, simple answer now is Fifa 20. It’s ok though cos I’m outta here! No more money from me. Got FIFA 20, 2 weeks ago. Knew I should’ve listened to the reviews, I’ve already uninstalled. I’ve noticed that I’m constantly getting beat or drawing with players that I’m clearly outplaying, sometimes even reaching around 70% possession with over 10 shots on target more than the other player. At the same time, I’m beating or drawing with players that are clearly better than me. Even my friends that have played FIFA for years have lost against me multiple times after my keeper saves every shot hilarious their’s that may as well no be there. That on top of my Messi our strengthening their Van Djik, lucky rebounds and more.
Even winning isn’t fun anymore because how do I know it wasn’t the script that gave me the win? And sometimes I KNOW the script gave me the win.
In FIFA 18, I checked the win-loss ratio of every opponent I felt robbed me for the win, and the rest of the losses. Only approx. 5% of my opponents had a fairly equal or better win-loss ratio than mine. The rest approx. 95% had a significantly lower win-loss ratio, many with a little better or worse than 1:1, and some below. My win-ratio was 563 - 96-194, or 3:1 . The losses often came in series of "loose streaks" when starting a new season with horrible unresponsive gameplay.

I’ve had my worst Win Loss ratio ever I used to have average 3-1 now it’s more 1.5 - 1 but I’ve had the best luck I’ve ever had in packs I think it’s no fluke

I play a lot of 2v1 with my brother as guest. We also experience this a lot. It goes well or its goes bad.
If it goes well, you play against people that have a bad record. if you don't play well (according to fifa ...) you play against people with a good record. This will result in W-W-W-W-L-L-L-L-L. Like one day FIFA is helping you and the next day FIFA is destroying you. And it's not just me, almost every player we play against, have this. A normal record like W-D-W-L-D is so rare nowadays.
It's exactly about people rage quitting the game. And what happens then? NO MORE CASH! This is especially true for children. They are the future of the game. If they rage quit and don't come back that's the future sales screwed. It's not about being nice, it's about MONEY!
Funny you mentioned fifa12 cos I snapped my disc in half to stop me playing that game... I really did believe something was wrong.
One thing that many people have actual proof of, is when some shots feel like the sliders have turned up massively when they go in like a rocket but normally you know when u do those shots the ball moves a bit slower (even if its a goal anyway).

not even kidding. i raged and uninstalled this game after losing to noobs due to unfair gameplay and my players feeling like bronze players in the last wl. i came back after 4 days opened my squad battles rewards from last week and got 98 neymar from a 50k pack, immediately sold it for 7 mil and started playing the game again. the algorithm somehow gave me good pack luck so i could continue playing the game and hopefully order fifa20.

There is definitively something fishy in there. The easiest is to play regularly against opponents of varying skill levels offline. I play online division 7 (no Fifa ultimate, real teams) and at a given moment I was in division 3 as I was playing every day. I sometimes go to division 6, then up to 7. I also play often against by 8 years old son offline, which is division 9 or so. He regularly beats me, easily around 50% of the time. Our score over time tends to 50%. I miss open low driven shots alone against the keeper all the time 1vs1. He scores first touch shots outside the box all the time. I definitively think that there is a balancing effect
