This year‘s game is really a shame, and the final proof that EA do not care about their customers. Until they do not change their attitude I will not buy FIFA anymore.
The thing is that if there were protest against the game it would sadly still be successful, because most of the players who play FIFA are casuals and don't care about UT or maybe don't even know what's UT. They're playing one match a day against his friends in offline multiplayer.
No EA make the minority of the money from UT. Some people spend 1000's on FIFA points to upgrade there team. They haven't realised it's pointless. EA just nerf your players anyway to make it almost impossible to win. Until you buy more FIFA points.

BUT YOU HAVE TO PATCH IT MORE OFTEN THEN, TO FINE TUNE IT. what happens? radio silence for weeks/months. last year PES had a problem with rebound goals happening too often (sounds familiar?). after community's feedback Konami patched it, so the ball stopped getting rebounded so far away from the keeper after a save, so it was closer to keepers who could take it after the save more often. Problem -> feedback -> patch in few weeks -> problem solved -> on to the next one. EA just doesn't do this so we have this mess. And then they will try to implement 60 new features for the new game while the old one is still a mess. Ofc

Scoring that way is a lot easier than one on one against the keeper. If you play good football you’re getting punished. You gotta take long shots. Nothing to do with football anymore.

I remember the 2patches ago lol they mentioned that when you tackle a striker the ball will go farther from the striker making it a slim chance for them to recover the ball quickly. Don’t believe it for one second guys, it worked for about a couple of days, then they patched it again and it’s back again where the striker recovers or your defender or whoever makes the tackle acts dumb as sh*t. It’s frustrating I could care less now. TOTY packs I believe it is rigged for the big CZcamsrs.

Literally all my goals are just timed finesse shots cuz that’s all that works. I wish they kept the same gameplay as FIFA 18 where the game was actually fun
