PS there was nothing wrong with the free kicks and penalties in fifa 19, I have no idea out of all the things they wanted to change, they chose that.

Christian Romero did you play the beta? It felt like they didn’t get lazy this year. At least with the beta. But the gameplay felt the best it ever had in some areas. The full game hasn’t come out yet so I will stand by giving EA a 20 percent chance this game could be amazing. that’s extremely high considering the past.. lmao

I struggled a lot at first bc of how slow my gold players were, but after ea gave out all those boosted cards, i got to enjoy the game. But even with the best cards in the game, the game is still slow, finishing is still inconsistent, passing is also inconsistent. There are some good things about this new fifa, but it needs a lot of fixing.
Christian Romero I had a really good team before they released all the stacked players for everyone. 88 mo salah felt amazing. 84 son was really amazing as well. I guarantee you Pepe’s gold card is extremely OP in beginning game. I agree they need to bump up the pace a bit. But we are already doing so much better then 19 if we are looking at just the betas. You could actually score goals that felt real, and defense actually mattered. People complained about the ping pong and 180 degree turn passing for years... now they fix it and people complain about it being too slow

In regards to passing, i dont know man, i was using all those players with 90+ passing, and they often times did not complete a simple pass. Hopefully EA makes some updates/improvements very soon cause this game has potential
The only thing they should adjust to the defending is that there should be someone behind him helping as a last defender when the first defender gets beaten, when I played the beta there were way too many players just walking through my and my opponents defense without any chance to recover.

Won’t the game produce inconsistencies naturally just due to fact players have stats that aren’t 100. The way the game is made creates inconsistencies. Players with say 75 finishing aren’t going to convert all the time and logically would not hit where they aim all the time.
100% agree that the faster it is, the higher the skill gap... except the netcode is terrible, and as such the faster it is, the more it favors whoever has the best connection. Why do you think EA try to keep it slower and "dumbed down"? They can't fix the servers so they compensate via the gameplay.

I prefer the game quick. When it's slow, its like playing in quick sand and is unbearable. And if you have a slow player, like a defender, holy shit, it's a joke. As for tackling, its the worst part of 19'. Absolutely pisses me off big time. I've conceded so many goals through players carrying on after I've tackled them. As for skill moves... I've always predominantly used them to create space. Occasionally I'll use them to skin a player. But not often. People who bang out 10 skill moves in a row randomly is just a joke.

Won’t the game produce inconsistencies naturally just due to fact players have stats that aren’t 100. The way the game is made creates inconsistencies. Players with say 75 finishing aren’t going to convert all the time and logically would not hit where they aim all the time.

This is really what I needed. I remember last year beta review and now when I hear 2020 is good - there is hope
100% agree that the faster it is, the higher the skill gap... except the netcode is terrible, and as such the faster it is, the more it favors whoever has the best connection. Why do you think EA try to keep it slower and "dumbed down"? They can't fix the servers so they compensate via the gameplay.

I prefer the game quick. When it's slow, its like playing in quick sand and is unbearable. And if you have a slow player, like a defender, holy shit, it's a joke.
As for tackling, its the worst part of 19'. Absolutely pisses me off big time. I've conceded so many goals through players carrying on after I've tackled them.
As for skill moves... I've always predominantly used them to create space. Occasionally I'll use them to skin a player. But not often. People who bang out 10 skill moves in a row randomly is just a joke.
