They used to have a clear top for the dirty water tank, which made it easier to see when the water was being sucked into the tank. It was a really stupid design decision to change it to the opaque white tank. Now I have to look more carefully to see if the carpet is still wet or not.
I love mine it’s a great carpet cleaner it’s saved me so much money and does a really nice job . It’s built extremely well and it’s easy to clean and store away it really doesn’t take up to much room .i love my 86T3 5 yr warranty and I bought the Extended warranty which gives me eight years parts and labour covered
You should spray the diluted solution on the carpet with a sprayer wait a few minutes, than use only hot water in the Bissell to wash leaving no soap residue.
If you don’t need the commercial warranty, the 86T3 is a better choice for home use. It comes with the accessory kit and a longer warranty (5 years), but does not have the removable, heavy duty power cord.
I just got mine great machine except one thing the handle could be longer or adjustable its not and it pushes directly to the bottom of the machine making it a back breaker with extended use. I hope this is addressed in future models. Otherwise cleans graet
Just used this machine. This machine leaves way too much water on the carpet! The Rug Doctor I have used for over 10 yrs, it sucks all the nasty water back up. Would not purchase or rent this again.

Good advice. I needed to look at a video before getting one from my local Lowe's. I was trying to find something different than what I normally rent.
