- In this video Matt will be installing a charge pipe from VRSF and a blow off valve from turbo smart in his BMW 535xi n54. Upgrading the charge pipe in any turbo BMW is a good idea since the factory ones tend to crack due to the plastic design.

Appreciate y’all doing this on the E60, I’m doing my chargepipe and Turbosmart BOV today ‼️
Just did this my self. Installing it while wrestling with the power steering reservoir was an absolute pain in the ass. Well worth the trouble though.
Did any of your fluids spill over? I’m losing will power trying to put this dumb thing on lol
Cool! That's my BMW exactly, so its always great to see things being done to it.
Doing mine soon, arrived today. So stoked :) n54 ❤
very Informative on removing diverter valve’s
I have a question when you bought the charge pipe did you get it for a 335i or 535i I was looking at them and the photo vrsf provide for the 535i tial charge pipe doesn’t look anything like the 335i tial charge pipe.
How does everyone think the blow off valve sounds?!
Sounds cool.
Where can i find that intake i think i like this better than the traditional dual cone 🤔
Do I need to walnut blast when installing this?
I’m stuck at the part where you connect the blue hoses
what downpipes work with a e60 535i
VRSF
What about the vacuum line?
When you say you put oil what kind was it that you used
I don’t kno what charge pipe to buy Cz the divorce valves do I need em
Matt didn't tell us what spring rate he used. That's the question I'm struggling with for my 335xi.
Doesn’t matter much
Are you with the 535 N54 content ?
Are you done ? I meant
No still have n54 content to bring, what do you want to see?
@@EvanGoyuk more diy repair/upgrade videos please (turbos, water pump, anything really) not many xDrive videos out here
This is the 2010 535i xDrive?
535I is different application ? 2010
No
I just installed mine and the blow off valve seems to be open when the car is idling I don’t know how to fix this
I think you can change the spring for the blowoff valve, so a slightly stiffer one will make it so more pressure is needed to open it
Would this work on 2008 535i xdrive .???
Yes this car is x drive
So i bought the same setup, where does the vacuum line come from that I should connect to the bov?
There’s a small nipple to the right of the throttle body…you should have a hose running from that to your BOV!
@@turbon5449 okay I did that, I’m getting a check engine light saying system is too lean. Could it be that the vacuum line from the nipple to my adapter to hook it up to the line they gave me is too small compared to that one for it to push enough air?
@@Darkdott sorry for the late reply, but your line should be at 3.5mm…that’s the size everyone I see runs..I’m gonna order new hose to replumb all the air lines!!
@@turbon5449 thanks for the reply! I figured out that my wastegate for one of my turbos were leaking boost. I got it fixed and it’s fixed. Thank you for helping out!
@@Darkdott your welcome homie, glad you got it fixed & straightened out!
