  • In this video Matt will be installing a charge pipe from VRSF and a blow off valve from turbo smart in his BMW 535xi n54. Upgrading the charge pipe in any turbo BMW is a good idea since the factory ones tend to crack due to the plastic design.

    Just did this my self. Installing it while wrestling with the power steering reservoir was an absolute pain in the ass. Well worth the trouble though.

    I have a question when you bought the charge pipe did you get it for a 335i or 535i I was looking at them and the photo vrsf provide for the 535i tial charge pipe doesn’t look anything like the 335i tial charge pipe.

      I think you can change the spring for the blowoff valve, so a slightly stiffer one will make it so more pressure is needed to open it

    • @turbon5449
      @turbon5449 Před rokem

      There’s a small nipple to the right of the throttle body…you should have a hose running from that to your BOV!

    • @Darkdott
      @Darkdott Před rokem +1

      @@turbon5449 okay I did that, I’m getting a check engine light saying system is too lean. Could it be that the vacuum line from the nipple to my adapter to hook it up to the line they gave me is too small compared to that one for it to push enough air?
