    This is the 1st video to use the o-ring and properly explain the spring options.. I had to figure it out myself 👌

    I was having problems with the blow off valve charge pipe leaking. Switched to the diverter valve alimunium charge pipe and it worked perfect.

    On the first 335i I bought, I blew the stock charge pipe when I did a pull onto the freeway. There was a loud pop and loss of power and I thought I blew the engine. I didn't find out until the shady dealership sent me a photo of it after I returned it back to them. That's what they get for selling me a car where the check engine light turned on literally 20 minutes after I drove it off the lot.

    I don't know where you heard "11 LBS" Spring. Because these springs need to be opening and closing using the Vacuum from the engine. The N54 runs at 8 LBS vacuum. So really you want no more than an 8 LBS Spring or LESS. Yes it's fine to run a lighter spring because as long as the BOV is open on boost and closed at idle then it doesn't matter. I actually have what is considered a 9 LB spring and it's working fine.

    @17:20 I heard that it is the o ring gasket that hangs up. Others have reused the old gasket and it slipped on easier.

    Does your BMS charge pipe touch any of the power steering lines? I tried installing the VRSF charge pipe but couldn't get it to not touch the power steering lines... I opted not to install it for fear of it eventually wearing through the ps lines.

      @352lambo Před rokem +1

      Yes it's supposed to touched.. there's a relocation kit I might get.. but loosen up the reservoir bolts to clear most of the lines.. after installation put the bolts back on the reservoir

      It really didn't occur to you to install some hose protector, or conduit, or even duct tape to protect the PS hose from friction? That's a no-brainier, man.
