Ingredients
1. Rice powder - 1 ½ cup
2. Ripe banana - ½ to ¾ kg
3. Grated coconut - 2 cups
4. Coconut slices - ½ cup
5. Jaggery(scraped) -1 to 1 ½ cup
6. Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
7. Cardamom (powdered) - ½ tsp
8. Salt - to taste
Preparation
1. Crush half the coconut coarsely with cumin.
2. Mix the rice powder with salt & crushed coconut. Add mushed banana & mix again well.
3. Mix in all the other ingredients & a little water if need be.
4. Stir well & pack in banana leaves & steam till done (15 to 20 minutes).
