I switched because my xbox broke down during the pandemic and just got a new console (ps4 pro) and I’m so happy that I switched. (Ik its 2020, and I should’ve waited for the ps5 but I can’t do 6 months without gaming)

Phill Kyupers this design is some hot garbage though. Should have gone with something subtle or maybe a ps one-esk remake not this crap. Part of the reason I liked PS4 so much was because of how sleek and subtle it was. This is needlessly futuristic and it'll probably just drive up the price for no reason.

LBP 1 and 2 were amazing, had good times on the PSP. I never got into 3 and Vita with how mediocre everyone said it was compared to 2 though. Upset that this isn't 4.

NBA 2K is not a very good game nowadays, it always comes out not very polished, they fix one thing, broke the other one, but I am sick of this cliche crap on Sports games at this point. People act like its nothing but buying packs, games offer lots of singleplayer modes, and even people who enjoy Ultimate team modes, 95% of those people enjoy the mode without spending single penny on microtransactions. Just because games have whale players and devs exploit that fact, doesnt make game bad by default

No innovations for over a decade, legacy issues stemming all the way back to last gen and beyond. But hey, at least they put those sweet shoes in the game!
When theres no incentive to fix core gameplay you get what we have today, microtransactions left and right. Also, those microtransactions you spend, those cards packs etc... dont even transfer to the next years game! LOL so they're worthless!!! Then you gotta buy them AGAIN in the following year! Unreal.

@@ak86db Ultimate team is a cash cow, but people still find enjoyment in it without spending money. It just preys on gamblers and rich people, most sports gamers do not in fact buy microtransaction, they just like to play the game. And there is more game to it, I am sick of hearing people who most likely never actually played a sports game, make a same joke like all those games have are paid lootboxes. When you only listen to taking points like Youngyeah, who never loaded a sports game himself, but likes to talk about them like he knows anything, of course you would think there is no game to it. I play FIFA all the time, never touched a multiplayer mode in my life, play only manager mode, its good for what it is, I have few major issues with the mode that were there for ages, and thats infuriating, but its still full playable game, and if you are like me who wants to relive nerdy sport fan fantasy of being a GM, buying, selling, training players, I recommend picking up FIFA, its actually a very good purchase if you wait till summer, FIFA right now is like 9 bucks on PS4, and it lasts for me for a few years, as I dont recommend buying those games yearly, its not worthy I agree with that.

Hitman 2 was published by Warner Bros and wasn't episodic.
Hitman 3 will be published by IO Interactive and as far as I know it won't be episodic either.

The whole production of this event, the CG transitions and the console reveal were just chef kiss perfect. Really professional and next gen feeling compared to Xbox. It just kept and built an anticipation all the way througb

@@suryasishtalukdar210 it's all relevant. While the Xbox has seemingly more backwards compatibility, the PS5 is fully backwards compatible with the entirety of the PS4 library, which is undoubtedly far better content wise than anything that exists within the Xbox family.
Cloud gaming is extremely irrelevant. A tiny percentage of people can use it to it's full effect now and an even smaller percentage do use it (or want it to begin with).
Smart delivery is fine (and the equivalent that Sony offers is comparable), but again it comes down to what is using said feature. If the quality of the software is laughable then the value of the smart delivery system doesn't really matter now does it?
Crossplay ? That exists on all important games on all platforms. Why even mention it ?
At first glance the Zenimax/Bethesda acquisition seems like a power play but then you look at Bethesda's track record in the last 6-7 years and it's abysmal.
The difference in unit sales between the PS5 and the Xbox series is staggering. The difference between brand recognition and marketability is even greater. If anything the Xbox is no longer an actual competitor to Sony. It hasn't been for years.
And more importantly, the difference between the quality of exclusive games offered is astronomical. Microsoft has a long way to go.

Ratchet and Clank is my favorite gaming franchise of all time. I enjoy it as much now at 26 as I did when I was 9. It put a smile on my face when you guys got excited about the new one.

I think Joe would have enjoyed some of the reveals more if he wasn't so stoned and paid for attention. He said he hated time loops but loved Returnal. She said multiple times she was stuck in a time loop and he never caught on.

Rockstar makes amazing games but its clear that they care less about single player now :c. Imagine Gta V single player content if they didn't put half their efforts into online, same with red dead redemption 2, they are trying to mmo that shit too. 7 Years later, no single player dlc/expansions but there is tons of online updates for GTA V online smh.

Yeah, that was embarrassing for the top video game critic on CZcams. The Fromsoftware games are becoming Joes nemesis. He refuses to play them and they are only getting better and since Bloodborne the fanbase has blown up. One of my favorite Angry Joe moments of 2019 was the game awards. The look on his face when Sekiro won game of the year was priceless. Arguably the top game critic in the world did not play the GOTY. If not for Wicther 3, Bloodborne would have been GOTY. The top critic wont play games made by a company that produces two GOTY's in 4 years. Lets not forget 2018 GOTY, GOW basically copied Fromsoftwares combat mechanics.

The only thing microsoft revealed was how badass the console was and how it worked and was uniquely designed for cooling and low power consumption, also the reverse compatibility features and speed....sony wont even let you play all your ps4 games, xbox let's you play them all even on pc. Game pass allows you to play games day one. Sony has a garbage ass service and online. I loved ps4 but when xbox one x came out sony just went pure stupid, nintendo is siding with Microsoft and had to force sony to allow crossplay....who you think is better and for gamers???? Not sony that's for damn sure.
Microsofts reveal hasn't happened yet. The first thing was to wet our appetite which is why is was all indie games. No proper xbox exclusives announced yet.

A diverse library of games is good since it makes it feel the console truly is next gen rather than just make it niche. You don't want to be just written off as a console for one type of gaming.
Exactly. I appreciate all the 3D platformers showns here alongside all the other stuff. Funny how AJ disliked both Sackboy Adventure and Astrobot right away lol.
I got the PSVR on sale last year and everyone told me I had to play Astrobot Rescue Mission.
Turned out to be such a pleasant surprise and was an absolute joy from start to finish. Took me back to the old platformers but with controls that felt smoother. The VR aspect is also used very creatively, forcing you to move around and crane your neck to find little secrets.
All this to say I’m just really glad Sony seems to be sticking with the IP despite the fact that it’s base game wasn’t a runaway success because it was locked behind a piece of additional hardware. I love that they seem to be pushing some lighthearted platformers again.
