@@MS-ie2bm Nice aesthetics and level design (interconnected/ loops back in on itself) but terrible hard for the sake of hard gameplay with lots of grinding. I pass on everything developed by From Software because the gameplay is antithetical to an enjoyable experience.
@@dw3134 From Software thesis: gameplay balance that is hard for the sake of being hard is good/enjoyable. For me and any number of other people, the opposite is true, hence antithetical. I definitely have seen that it isn't antithetical to enjoyment for people with sadistic or masochistic tendencies. For me, it is obvious that if you reach a fail state (death) when putting forth a reasonable effort then the gameplay balance is too hard for you. Similar to Alex stating "There is no overkill, just underkill". There is definitely a too hard to be enjoyable and Masocore games exemplify that for non masochists.

I'm so glad Angry Joe was able to get into a from software title, bloodborne might be my favorite game of all time. So lucky he didn't kill the friendly or let him get killed. He could have even turned against him for a backstab lol. He died in my game as I didn't know you HAD to help him or he derps out and gets himself killed.
