Death Stranding was exactly the gameplay I wanted from Death Stranding.

This was still considerably better than what Nintendo showed. Their highlight was a skyward sword port.
Sifu is straight up Absolver 2.
Seems more story-based though, from the trailer.
Fun fact, out of all the trailers from this state of play the five nights at freddys trailer has significantly more views and likes than any other trailer (even more then the two ff7r trailers combined) Just found that funny since I always assumed that five nights was a dead fad, but it clearly still has its fans which is cool.
Five Nights never died, it just wasn't overt because the primary fanbase are kids. Over the last few years there's been a bunch of books from Scholastic, McFarlane Toys making building block sets that are huge sellers, the AR mobile game, and In fact there's a bunch of official games in the works made by some of the best fangame makers because the dev Scott Cawthon hired them as part of a whole extended/AU sort of thing (Scott has always encouraged people to make fangames and FNaF has probably gotten a bunch of young folks into gamedev in general).
So I just got back from watching Street Fighter 2 The Animated Movie after hearing Max praise it, and lemme just say, he was right.
Shame he didn't know the music for Deathloop was just it's own theme song.
The funniest thing is how at the beginning of the video one single F*ck is bleeped, but as soon as FFVII stuff starts -- Max just gives up on editing it out. xD

Everyone wants to see the BIG games, but I’m here for those games that CARRY me between the large releases. This SoP was everything I wanted to hold me over till Horizon/Ratchet (Returnal is also super interesting for me)
@@yellowcard8100 I mean, they did say the SoP would be headlined by updates for indies from the June showcase. People definitely do want to see those big games and new ones, but I really wouldn’t even begin to expect major announcements from a SoP that was given a very short window of lead-up and during COVID.

Yeah- seeing the Lighting showcase of the Final Fantasy port really solidifies my opinion that this generation of systems is the generation of stellar lighting effects. We've seen it for years with PC, but having consoles finally able to achieve this level of visual aesthetic is great to witness.
FF7R already had stellar lighting effects on base PS4.
This is the generation of graphics the human eye isn't actually able to discern without a side-by-side, if even then. Although the tech behind it is really impressive, our physical capabilities are being exceeded at this point. We'll have to invent IA robots to be wowed for us soon enough.
@@Shalakor To me graphics are not even in the top two coolest features of this gen. SSD is easily no.1, fast responsive UI and short loading times are an absolute game changer and really hard to go back once you tried them.
3D audio is no.2, it greatly improves the ambiance and is a perfect fit for many genres like Horror and Souls titles and the fact you can now experience it with any old pair of stereo headphones you might have lying about still amazes me.
