Bluepoint doesn’t get enough credit for what they do, everytime they remake a game it’s always a phenomenal experience so I have no doubt that Demon’s Souls is in good hands.
Also, all memes aside, I honestly don’t mind the design that much. I actually kinda like that it’s not just another black box.

If you look at the like and dislike ratio of the console reveal in the PlayStation channel , you’ll see that the vast majority like the design....the only issue is that there is no flat surface

J Mike S G well i feel like SF6 is already in development but due to many reasons theyve decided to do one final season making next year the last year for SFV. where as it clearly felt like it was this year. and if thats the case it's actually good cause they get more time to make the game instead of rushing it like SFV was.
NetherRealm is working on something. We don't know what it is, it's obviously not MK12. It could be Injustice 3 or a possible Marvel fighting game, Ed Boon was a little too eager with his "Yes" answer when asked in an interview if they had spoken to Marvel to make a fighting game.

Yo for ratchet in clank they went through dimensions that were from the future series. The beginning cutscene showed them on sargasso from tools of destruction, then they showed the map from future crack in time when your with alister and your trying to find the eye, and the pirate ship part is from quest for booty so it showed dimensions from the ps3 series not the ps2 quite close tho Max

Really didn’t like the PS3 series tho. They really kneecapped Ratchet’s personality. And the new Ratchet model looks exactly like the one they went with for the movie game, which was fucking terrible in pretty much every way. I dunno, I’m kinda worried about this.

Because of the nature of Demon's Souls development, I do wonder how much blessing they've been given to just touch up the roughest parts of the game as best as possible. I'm not talking about the 6th Archstone in the land of the giants, I think that's too far for a Remake and runs the risk of becoming an awkward part of the game.
It also made me realise how I much love the original art-style, the framerate needed help!

@@desaturated6049 Inside joke from his FF7 playthrough (a modded version of the original on PC). He tried to name one of the characters after his friend Kenny, but ended up mispelling it to "Kena" and it stayed that way the whole playthrough.

I think Max was just laughing at the fact that Kena was a permanent misspell of Kenny’s name during his original Final Fantasy 7 play through. He was trying to name Vincent “Kenny”, but accidentally named him Kena.

Flame of Udûn Idk if it’s really cynicism. The state of the world makes creating games hard so a lot of stuff will be delayed and a lot of us lost our jobs for awhile (or permanently) so the cash might not be there for a new console.

This is REALLY what makes me OH SO excited for backwards compatibility now. Over 4,000+ games is going to benefit from the SSD that the PS5 has unless I am missing something where they have to implement that in or whatever is the case.
@Not Yet Even still, they made the "loading screen" a part of the game; it's an actual narrative component and game mechanic and I think that's neat
@Not Yet so a couple of seconds versus the current 20 second walk through a corridor to load a large map or 6 seconds of climbing through a crack to load a small world (FFVII remake) all with a lot more detailed models.
Truth is if a developer specifically decides to design a game to load in only assets that are needed in the FOV then loading can be pretty much instant, we just just don't have any developers that have done this yet as there were too many bottle necks in the past.
I love the designs so far. I just hope they have a bunch of different color models to choose from.

Hmm... Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, Spider-Man: Miles Morales, RE8, and Horizon looks to be some Console-getter games to me... I'll wait to see a little bit more content in the mean time.

I love oddworld games but this looks kind of hectic. I hope I can take it at my own pace and not be forced to sacrifice Mudokons as the trailer suggest you might have to (some of it seemed time sensitive).
Out of everything shown, it was my favorite. Still, I'm kinda reticent about the game; the OG Oddworld atmosphere just isn't there, and I'm pretty sure that Abe having a double-jump goes against the core tenets of the games. Though tbf, I'm only familiar with Oddysee and Exoddus, so I could be wrong.

Thing is gta 5 is making them way more money than red dead 2 is. Right?!?! The 2 newest Hitman games were both amazing. Just one of the levels in either game gives you so many options it’s just insane. I actually seen hitman blood money and hitman absolution on sale as a bundle on PS4 a few days ago so I bought them and dude I tried playing them but couldn’t. These new hitman games are so damn good that they make the older games seem so weak in comparison now
I like the Hitman games and they have a lot of replay ability but ai just never seem to actual replay them. Once I get the silent assassin rank, I never cared about all the other ways I could achieve the objective.

So about Spider-Man miles morales.... it’s gotta be a .5 version right not considered the Spider-Man 2 game? That’s my thoughts... it’ would be kinda weird if they built up everything ( green goblin, venom ) for miles. It would feel a lot more personal if peter Parker fought them since he doesn’t know where Harry is or Norman’s plans behind the scenes and being so close to them comparatively to miles. Just my thoughts. None the less I’ll enjoy it.
Spider-Man: Miles Morales was confirmed to be an expansion filler storyline set after the events of the City Never Sleeps DLC Epilogue Trilogy but before the events of Spider-Man 2, similar to how Uncharted: The Lost Legacy was an expansion epilogue set after Uncharted 4 but isn't Uncharted 5.

Tekken 8 isn’t even close to coming out man, they are still updating and adding new characters to tekken 7. I figure guilty gear strive will prolly be one of the first fighting games to be on next gen consoles cus I think it comes out like a month or 2 before the next consoles will and I’m sure they will port it. Then after that we should be getting the next netherrealm fighting game sometime in 2021 if they keep their same pace of doing a new game every 2 years so that’ll be another one that will forsure be on next gen. Other than that I can’t think of any. Maybe sfv since they decided to keep supporting that for another season recently
@@12ealDealOfficial Sony doesn't have an arcade racer in its stable of titles after the relative failure of Drive Club. It kind of makes sense as over time racing games have become more niche (not a niche as fighting games, but still). Look at things now, we pretty much have only Need for Speed, whose sales have been going down over the last 4 titles. New IPs like the Crew have done really poorly and we seem to have lost the Burnouts, Ridge Racers etc. The only other big arcade racer that does well seems to be Forza Horizon.
I wouldn't mind new Motorstorm with the graphics and particle physics of the PS5. They could add snow landscapes and have snowmobiles that can take advantage of shortcuts and hovercrafts etc that can take advantage of shortcuts across water.

Square has a habit of giving tentative project names like Project Octopath etc. That alone isn't in my opinion an indication on whether or not the game will ever be out.

@The Beast For Sure, Sony always come with the catalog of games from game developers and all
@@polrusstomakriss9001 and they're willing to give thier studios creative freedom and encourage different genres. I support Sony for this purpose and have bought games that were not my usual cup of tea because I would rather see a variety of genres and IP rather than having them resting thier laurels and focusing on only 3 titles.
I also like that Sony considers a minor success a success and are willing to greenlight sequels to games that weren't necessarily massive sellers.

Was sold immediately when they showed off Spiderman and Ratchet and Clank. Spiderman PS4 is one of my favourite PS4 games and the Ratchet and Clank series is my favourite PS exclusive franchise. Usually wait about a year after a console is released to wait for more game reveals and to possibly work out some issues, but man Spidey and possibly Ratchet if that releases within a year of the consoles launch will probably make me buy the system immediately
I feel like I'm one of the few where this conference was rather solid. I have an interest in like 90% of the games shown.
And this is coming from someone who is primarily an Xbox guy.
Will be interesting to see what Microsoft does in July after the backlash of the 3rd party conference as well as this solid Sony showing.

I think Miles' story here will be set during Peter's time away from this universe, when he was recruited by Superior Spider-Man (Otto Octavius) in the comics. At the very least, it'll give a perfect excuse for Miles to go solo without Peter, effectively taking off the training wheels in this outing.
Or you know it might be in the ultimate universe where Peter died and Miles took the mantle

I have looked everywhere and can't find that trailer as a standalone or an official announcement. I know that vanillaware said they were doing updated information at a conference today but I feel like Maximilian dood has some Insider info cuz that ad is not officially launched yet.

@@jarrodroy Honestly? Both. Nothing from both presentations really blew me away. Yes, the Xbox looks like a black fridge but the PS5 looks like a router. The only real standouts for me were RE8, Demon's Souls and maybe Godfall.
