I'm a grown up now. Don't have the time I used to to just sit down and watch a video longer than 10 minutes. But I love making the time to watch your videos however long they are. Because listening to it just like a podcast version doesn't do your videos justice with all the related panels you use in them.

I know exactly what you mean about longer videos and we often struggle with whether or not to cut them down, but ultimately, we make what we want to make (which is why I overdo it in the visuals, hoping that someone out there appreciates the time put into it!). I think Morpheus is like a day dream at school. You’re kinda bored and mopey and want to leave.
My favourite thing of this story is the character Hope of A Dying Star. That recontextualization of the rap battle in hell is perfect. Reading it in the main series, you assume hope=Superman, because it's a DC comic & it's the rebuttal to anti-life which is Darkseid etc. But Nope! In true Neil Gaiman fashion the entire concept of hope (that's how I read it anyway) exists now only because of a stereotypical Gaiman protagonist. An emancipated young woman.

I loved the Art within. As for the story I didn't think it was needed, and even though I've only read through it once, I'm going to have to dive in again, as I've completely forgotten what this book was about.
Fantastic episode as always. Never read this book, but the art looks incredible. Look forward to the next episode, and with October 'round the corner looking forward to those spooky episodes. Take care.

Yeah- I feel like after our break and then doing an episode on the already-flooded Netflix content, the algorithm probably just shrugged us off... Stick with us- we're hoping to keep up a weekly schedule again.
21:16 Maybe it's just me but I actually felt like they might have Chosen to make Time look like Destruction out of all of them very deliberately for several reasons. Firstly, What ultimately destroys everything if not Time? And by that same token what creates everything but Time. And what is Time but a constant series of changes, and Who throughout the 75 issue run of Sandman NEVER stopped banging on about choices and change and creating things other than Destruction?
Also the fact that Dream visited his mother, Night, by getting thrown into a Black hole is so clever it's annoying. The Event Horizon of a Black Hole is a place where light cannot escape and the center of a Black hole is called a singularity and is sometimes described as the place where _Time_ stops.
(I'm not a physicist, don't yell at me, I've done my best, yes I know about Hawking radiation lol).

I would have loved to be a consultant, but that would require asking Time for a favor as I hadn't read Sandman yet when you recorded this! (And Time doesn't even do favors for his kids so that seems like a no go. 😉)
Did y'all read Sandman Endless Nights yet? In it each of the Endless gets a story! Also y'all must read the Merv Pumkinhead one shot.
