Nick Wright is about to shed tears 😂😂Straight facts u say.. MJ is the only person to ever win DPOY and the scoring title in the same season. And he led the league in steals that same season. Led league in steals 3x, won DPOY, 5 MVPs. And nvr winning against Larry Bird... sure but that was a team with at least 5 HoFers and MJ was alone. And Larry Bird himself after playing against MJ said that he saw *God disguised as Michael Jordan* . MJ didn’t lose for lack of effort. This the same dude who questioned his own coaches and upper management for trying to tank and lose to get good draft picks. He said winning is the point of every game, if we’re not trying to win then why are we playing basketball... he gave everything every single game. LeBron and his ‘load management’ would never fly with MJ.. ever. He nvr cheated the fans out of seeing him play and his greatness. The figure and aura that was Michael Jordan was unlike anything we’ve witnessed. LeBron will never be able to top that

@AnObviousUsername the reason Lebron's trophycase is much lighter compared to MJ is because of excuses. Valid excuses, but still, same can be applied to almost any player. No I'm not blaming Bron one but for anything besides 2011 (maybe a few other minor instances), but that's just how it is. Let's not forget that Bron also has the luxury to handpick players to play on his team, and very few stars get to do so. Bron's a top 2 player ever undoubtedly but like you said, they worship Jordan but those people like Nick who think Bron is the GOAT do the exact same thing if not even more than those who believe it's Jordan

You jump right to the Finals and talk about competition lmao 🤦🏽‍♂️ there’s something called the first second and third rounds you need to go thru to get there. LeBron has NVR aced the same competition level that MJ had to face to even get to the Finals. So chalk up LeBrons Finals opponents but skip over the path to get there.. MJ had to face far superior competition to make the Finals. And MJ kept how many All time great players top 50 players from winning a Ring?? Everyone won on LeBron’s watch as CB said.. against LeBron they won, they ate. If you’re going to proclaim yourself as GOAT (which no real superstar would do and they haven’t other than LeBron) then someone of your stature needs to at least win s couple games vs those KD Warriors, don’t get swept twice in the Finals. You don’t lose with that Miami heat team 4-1 to the Spurs in 2014. And you definitely don’t leave and manufacture a big 3 to win rings only to have a historic meltdown to the Mavericks in 2011, probably the worst we’ve seen from a Superstar of his caliber ever.. in his 8th year

agreed, but it ain't quite 8 points, then 17 points, then 21 points in game 4 5 and 6, while scoring an average of 2 points in the 4th quarter. MJ still averaged 31 pts on 48% shooting, that series. Nowhere near as bad as lebron's meltdown. If that's a meltdown for jordan, you just proved why hes the goat. Jordan came back with 17 games left in that season, and was out of shape. Those mistakes he made down the stretch were due to his lack of basketball fitness. Even Nick Anderson said "no 45 ain't no 23, i coudlnt have done that to no 23". Jordan came back the next year 72-10 and three peated

    • @MrClebophd
      @MrClebophd Před rokem +4

@@yahiakamel2747 Agreed. There are more weaknesses. MJ didn't trust his teammates to make a shot, so he kept shooting. He also gambled way too much outside the game, which arguably put him out of the league.
Also, when claiming that the stage was too big for anyone - that's just an interpretation. When MJ fumbled and turned the ball over against the Magic when they lost, MJ fans simply just ignore that. For some reason, MJ has gotten a series of free passes on his shortcomings. Everyone has weaknesses, MJ fans simply choose to ignore them.
I also think that this is a definitional problem. What do people mean when they say "Greatest"? Is it the one with most championship wins? Best win percentage? All-time achievements? How are different achievements weighted against each other? For instance, how do you compare longevity compared to win percentage? If you have a shorter successful career, then it's easier to have a higher win percentage. It's because people are irrational and biased these things get confused, and the debate goes on forever.

Just facts🙌 jordan get kicked off 6 times in playoffs(and was not even able to win a conference chip knowing that te east was weak too back in days) till pippen bicame allstar and The greatest coach of all time(🙌)took the command of his team. He never won when his team was not the best time in the league. But he was still the best player on the league all those years. That show you that if you want to win a chip u have to built the better team out of all the league. So why when its come to lebron u talking about all the finals he loose knowing evrytime his team get kicked off the playoffs(including finals) his team wasnt the better team(except in 2011, the only time it happen) but he was putting great number in all other time he gets kicked off(The same with MJ).
MJ never chocked statistically while having a good team. Lebron does, one time only.
But considering the facts lebron does exactly what jordan did back in day(dominate evry year and win the year his team is the best) longer than MJ prove that we can put him above MJ🤔

@@benidiasonama654 that wasn’t that coherent but ok. You missed the whole point. The ridiculous defense of “Jordan only won when he had the best team” is ridiculous. They were the best team in the league because of him an show dominate he was. He didn’t need a team stacked with All Stars. He just needed one all star. And Phil Jackson won Championships only because he had Jordan for 6 and Shaq/Kobe / 3, Kobe/Gasol 2. Spolstra getting to a game 6 was as impressive than any single season Phil had. Larry Brown and Carslile are the only coaches to win a chip without a stacked team. Larry Brown was a better coach than Phil.

I hate the part of Chris’ argument where he says that once Jordan started winning titles, no one won on his watch. Outside of the Lakers (and even they dealt with injuries), which team did Jordan face that was superior to the Bulls in the Finals? Now granted, a big part of the reason the Bulls were better than everyone else is because they had Mike, but other teams don’t stack up.
Plus, if we put Jordan in LeBron’s shoes, he doesn’t accomplish what LeBron has. Jordan would’ve beat the Mavs if he was in LeBron’s place, for sure. But Jordan wouldn’t have taken the first or last Cleveland team to the finals. Wouldn’t have made a 3-1 comeback (but it can be debated if that team would’ve been in a 3-1 deficit), he would’ve won the same championships, and lost the same ones (outside of the Mavs one I already excluded). And if LeBron was in Jordan’s place, he would’ve won the same championships, and maybe more because he wouldn’t have retired. So the Finals record argument should really die because it’s a team sport and while they were both the best players during their eras, they both didn’t face the same level of competition in the Finals

The competition LeBron faced has to be absolutely considered. LeBron faces multiple super teams, 08 Celtics, 2013-14 spurs, 2016-17 warriors and beat them all at some point. Jordan never beat the big three Celtics or the bad boy pistons, and never faced another dynasty level team when he went on his title run.

98'finals pippen scored 8 points. Jordan put up 45 points, stole the ball, hit the game winner. Seems to me he did it without him.
Rewind back to the 98' regular season Pippen was injured for 48 games, MJ led the bulls to the playoffs by going 36-12 without him.
Rewind back to pippens 1st two seasons where he averaged 8 points per game and was a bench warmer.
Yes MJ was 1-9 "without pippen", but a solo MJ went against the 67 win celtics and the bad boy pistons.
Lebron couldn't even make the playoffs his first two years.

People could assert that Michael Jordan could still play at a similar level during the 1994-1995 season as opposed to the subjective argument that he was not ready to play high level basketball because his body did not meet his previous basketball standards since he played baseball the year prior. For example, Michael Jordan’s best scoring game was a 55-point performance during the 1994-1995 regular season. His best scoring game in the Chicago Bulls’ historic 1995-1996 regular season was a 53-point game. People can assert that he played at a similar rate in both years because of this. His team loss to the Orlando Magic in six games in 1994-1995 playoffs but for some reason media members don’t criticize him for melting down during that series. His numbers may have not been similar because the Magic played well enough to prevent that from happening. Correct me if I’m wrong but the NBA Finals is the biggest stage. It would be worse to melt down in prior series. Him melting down during the Eastern Conference Semifinals is worse compared to LeBron James melting down during the 2010-2011 NBA Finals. This is just one instance of the media controlling the narrative in Jordan’s favor. Media members like Broussard can’t say, “When you are debating the GOAT, you nitpick” and don’t nitpick other player’s careers other than Jordan’s.

    • @abbasbature3668

How did Michael have a meltdown in 1995, when he scored 38, 40, 39, 26, how is that a meltdown? Compared to LBJ that averaged 19 and got outscored by Jason Terry, a bench player, in fact mJ averaged more points than shaq in that 1995 conference semifinals, thats y no1 talks about it, coz it’s not a meltdown just because they lost and he came back and swept them in 1996, and blew them out.
