Celtics gotta be one of the only teams in history where they start the playoffs going 9-2 and people think they are underperforming
Right. They were not impressed in the celtic's performance, but rue the miss opportunities of the pacers, focusing in particular the inbound botch plays that lead to the siakam TO and Jalen's game tying 3 and Haliburton's TO. They failed to mention that at least 6 pacers scored double digit figures and shot more than 50 percent on the floor. These media people will still find fault in the celtics if they win the rest of the games easily (easy sched, guilded pathway, were expected to win) by saying they had an easier path and will not be impressed when JT doesn't score as much and struggle. I think these media people are so obsesses with JT becoming Kobe or Jordan that anything less will be a let down.

Ant scored 16 on 25% shooting and people were taking “face of the NBA” and “next Jordan”. Tatum gets 36, 12 and was +20, while also outscoring the Pacers himself in OT, and it’s “yeah I’m not sure he’s that guy”. The way everyone in the media just chooses to ignore everything he’s done is crazy

As a huge Celtics fan, that game was freaking awesome. For the past few years, we would have lost that game. This team never gave up on defense and that’s why we won. Indiana made a mistake and we never let up. Brown hitting that tree also helped.😂.

@mambaASI Horford's quality minutes are nothing compared to having an actual center. Horford isn't even 7 feet. He's also much older. It's not about a super team, but having a center who can shoot and rim protect. Simple. And no it's not about the Pacers, I'm talking about the judgement of the team as if they're WHOLE.

This loss was very similar to the first couple of losses that Lakers had against the Nuggets. Nick Wrights takes were absolutely different for the lakers than for Indiana. Over the top analysis makes me want to mute, until Bru and Wildes talk.

The only reason there was any adversity is because they played poorly enough to let the Pacers stay in the game. You don't get credit for punching yourself in the face in a series that you should easily sweep.

Most people just look at scoring averages and don't evaluate anything else. Luka is a terrible defensive player and Tatum is a very good, very versatile defender. It's silly to even compare them. Tatum is a significantly better overall player.
