Great in-depth review Jack nice to hear these cars and see them being used properly and not just a Sunday car driven to the golf course and back and lovely camera work 🎬👌🏻
The look... well that's a subjective thing isn't it? I think 993 looks better from the rear and 964 better from the front. But that's highly controversial. I showed your other comparison video 964 vs 993 to a friend and despite him being a hardcore car guy it was really tough for him to see any visual difference between the models, until he looked really hard. I think us Porsche enthusiasts are a different breed. For us there's a world of difference but not much to a guy from the street. Haha. Thanks for another great video.
Fantastic Video Jack . Watched all your early vids years ago as we got our 964s around the same time but revisiting them all again. Keep up the good work ,
Great video. The 993 rear is definitely more stable/compliant with the multi link suspension. I got a c4s and it corners like its on rails. It has coils, new bushings, and RS rear swaybar. Front doesn't feel light though so give/take. Looking to do RS flywheel next. Car is fun to drive, but low on power compared to my other cars even with a tune/exhaust. Wish it had 100HP more and it would be perfect. Didnt buy it for speed though so dont plan to mod it power wise. If only I had more $ for the turbo, but prices are insane now. Have thought about converting it to a 2wd, but the cornering is just so amazing and don't want to lose that. The rear swaybar helped with understeer due to the 4wd. Keep the videos coming!!
Another great review.. . much prefer these personally customized cars for their owners ! I actually followed Stan's advice on specs for engine mgmt, cams and gearbox. No doubt 993's are well balanced, but much prefer the direct the road feel of 964s. :-)
Nice one jack, would love either car up you can tune up the suspension any way you like, reckon the wife’s car has competition brakes from the way they squeal 😉
Very Nice video! Maybe a dyno video? +300hp 964 (cup cams and induction) looks optimistic imho. Oke maybe power at the crank (not convinced)... I could be mistaken.
kris hey yeah, Jack missed quite a bit out on that description. The ‘induction kit’ also replaces the air flow sensor with a map sensor and has a stand-alone ecu with uprated injectors. Dyno read out when mapped was 305bhp.
Ah oké. Makes Sense. I was allready confused why the car had bigger injectors :). Very nice setup you have there (compromise track/street). What ECU? :) Stiffer valve springs?
It's a setup developed by a UK company called 'Specialist Components'. ECU is a Typhoon 2. Valve springs are standard as rev limit only increased to 7000rpm and power was dropping off beyond that apparently. www.specialist-components.co.uk/index.php/shop/engine-management/posche-engine-management/porsche-911-964-management-kit.html
Nice video on "modified" Porsche's' but RS clones? No! :) The 964 is better for that with the Pss10 fitted, on a B road. 993 is nicely done with the sensible mods, but RS gear ratios make a lot of difference, especially on track. Btw, the steering wheel fitted to the 964 is the "clubsport" wheel from the 968.
The 993 is the better of the two. We all know that. It is who you're married to. The 964 is the sexy little thing in the office that you know damn well could probably ruin your life, but you've just got to have it,. I'm not married, so it's the 964 for me :-)
first of all to begin with no tweedledee tweedle dumb music!. good vid with normal road cars, i've just seen a brace of wide wheel arched chopped 911's at least here back to clean cars but RS modified bits & no contrived stories.
I’m surprised for an enthusiast and owner you have no respect for its proper pronunciation. There is an E on the end But you’d be the first ti call an Italian car properly. 😫😫😫
Fantastic review. You explain the driving experience of these beautifully..... And still I can’t decide between 964 vs 993
Great video Jack! I love the look of Stan's 964, and putting the 6 speed in was a great idea. Awesome road car for sure!
OMG! I could listen to those engines all day long :D
Great in-depth review Jack nice to hear these cars and see them being used properly and not just a Sunday car driven to the golf course and back and lovely camera work 🎬👌🏻
cheers Paul!!
Both would look actually better with orange front turn signals though.
Such a rare think a 993 RS without the Clubsport package. Love it!
Wow what a blast to watch ! Thank you for the solid content!
Thank you for watching David!

Great video mate !
993 Drives better than 964. However, I do like the look of the 964 more
Great compare jack! I just love the rear end of the 993. Such a different feel. The stock version is a blast too! F

Ah thanks Neil and happy Christmas 🎄!

Fantastic video. I like the 964 better looks wise.
Another great video Jack, take the steering wheel from the 993 and put it in the 964 and I'll take that stunning red 964 every single time !
Stan's car is a really nice example! Hope you get one one day!
So do I Jack ! Once my kids have flown the nest 🤞🤞🤞
Nice vid 👍 Outside of Colin’s (9m) Yellow 993 RS, you don’t see many of those Veloce GT1 forged wheels left. I’ve also got them on my 993 C2 😜
Very desirable models, particularly I prefer 964 RS ,it looks insane.
Thanks buddy.. I do love a 964!!!
How could you have missed calling this video "Attack of the Clones" ?????
Nice video - happily take either!
glad you enjoyed it!!

Great video
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!!

Hahaha!! The supermarket GP?
Trying to identify those wheels on the 993. HRE?
The 964 looks and sounds better. The 993 is a better engineered car. Toss a coin? Please replace "bits and bobs" with details. Love your videos.
Would be nice if you can find a real and non-modified RS of the two models and compare them.
That should read, " Which is better? "‼️
If I were to track a daily I’d definitely go with adjustable suspension.
Surely those KW v3s could (should?) be softened off, for road work, quite easily? 993 does look too stiff, really.
NICE VIDEO! 964
Thanks Omar!’!!
😍😍

I see Stan has already answered! Thanks for watching
nice one
Thank you, glad you enjoyed the video!!
how about some reviews of rgup cars thats a very limited membership
993 all the way even the looks in my book.

Shame the 993 only had a 3.6 too. Otherwise its practically the same!! :)
Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed it buddy!
...where is the first 996 GT3?
The 993 is the better of the two. We all know that. It is who you're married to. The 964 is the sexy little thing in the office that you know damn well could probably ruin your life, but you've just got to have it,. I'm not married, so it's the 964 for me :-)

Everything...except the engine, the transmission, the seam welding. Otherwise, it's an RS. lol
You need glasses if you cant see that the 993 is Far more superior in power and looks...
Agree
You forgot the 2.7! Here's my video with all three cars: czcams.com/video/qUbDnUq647c/video.html
jules cesar
Not a good comparison. 964rs did not have 310hp and how can you have a decent 993rs clone without the 3.8 engine.
Poor old stan ......your car is .....
'Which is better', Sprechen Sie English? :)
this 964 is not RS
That’s why it says RS Clones in the title
right hand drive looks awful!!
No... it’s fine!! Thanks buddy and happy holidays 🎄
