Would using a steamer be a good alternative to using a heat gun for chrome?
Halloo. Ck Wraps. I think you can help me how to get a job in your country. I have a lot of experienced about wrapping the car. I can assure you, any kind of car or trucks I know how to install. Im working now here Saudi Arabia as an installer of any various installation .
Excellent!!!🥰👍

Can you tell me what color is that wrap???
I like how you cover all the little details for installation. Super informative. Looks amazing! Nice work.
Feels good having your own space
5 min in and I'm so happy to not hear that annoying background noise from the old shop. Congrats on the new shop ckwraps!
i must have missed a few videos. didnt knew he was in a new shop. congrats Christian
Master at work, no doubt about it!! Christian thanks for all you do in helping us become better wrappers with your detailed videos and explanations of your technics on how to apply vinyl wraps, I've learned so much from you, keep up the good work your doing in spreading the love for vinyl wrapping!
Excellent Instructor! Slow and deliberate on his instruction without excessive discussion. Probably one of the best Instructors that I've seen and listened to, and I've been on CZcams since the day it went live online.
just randomly came across this. i'm not ever going to try doing this kind of work, but it's pretty fascinating, and looks like way more difficult work than i imagined. Am assuming this guy is pretty good and he's really having to be precise and patient, and generally working really hard. My blood pressure shot up just watching this. Respect.
I've been in the Automotive repair business for many decades, dealing with decals, wood grains ,back in the 80s,The famous Firebird on hoods of pontiacs,I Gotta say ,You make this wrapping look easy, you are truly One of the Best out there,Props CK
If I ever choose to get any cosmetic work done on my future cars for whatever reason- I wont question anything when they give me any type of prices.
This work is tedious.
And time consuming.
And it's a luxury.
If you want it done. Then dont bitch about the amount and or the labor pricing.
This is an art tbh.
And the workmanship... its admirable.
Props to you, sir.
You can tell how passionate you are about what you do. And that in itself is admirable and respectable.
Tysm for this video it showed me to not sell people short in whatever profession they have passion in.
You can't be serious here? You will never question pricing? LOL WTF? This guy and his partner quoted me $6500 for my car! If that is not hilarious I don't know what is! I mean, a heart surgeon does not earn that kind of money! If it took him 3 days to do my car, which it would not, that would be $2000 per day labor! Do you know why they charge that amount? Because they work for Wealthy idiots who wipe their ass's with hundred dollar bills! Yep, $6500 for a wrap that will not last over 3 years! ONLY A WEALTHY IDIOT would pay them this kind of money! This is exactly why you won't find any Wrap shops in small towns! They need the big city athletes, attorneys and Corporate dipshits to cough up the cash! Also Ego-maniacs who have to have the next big thing or the cool new toy! Jackasses
@@JEFFQUICKLE9 or people who are in the car scene? I'm sure you've "wasted" money on some type of material good before. If it makes someone happy and doesn't hurt anyone else in the process, what is it to you?
@@JEFFQUICKLE9 also, depending on your specific car, it could very well take 3 days. I've had a couple vehicles take approximately a week. It really depends on the specific car and vinyl wrap you choose.
The most I spent on a wrap prior to learning myself and opening up a wrap business to supply a bit of secondary income was about $5,000.
When people spend upwards of $2 grand for PPF and ceramic coating, why would vinyl wrapping be any different? You're spending more than 15+ times that for the entire vehicle. Sometimes you spend even more than a wrap would cost on other parts/mods like wheels and tires, which for some vehicles gets up to about $3k. Really failing to see your point as vinyl makes even more of an aesthetic addition than wheels do.
@@JEFFQUICKLE9 you seem very angry about other people's hard earned wealth. Albeit, some people inherit their money and throw it away, but a vast amount of people work hard to live a life of financial freedom that allows them to splurge a bit on the hobbies that bring them happiness. I busted my ass to get to where I am today, go do that same and stop worrying about where other people deem it fit to spend their money.
These are the videos I’ve been waiting for!!! Tutorials are back!! Great video
ارسل لي تجليد انا في السعوديه
Love these types of tutorial videos, they still help me and remind of so many little things I forget after time and wraps go by🤙🏼
Yes! Thank you!!!!! I was really hoping you would do this one.
Finally,,,, TUT videos. Its been months. Thanks for Sharing CK.
That color!!!! I think you just helped me decide on what I'm gonna wrap my suv with
Wow! You are very good at what you do. Very thorough, your workmanship is second to none. I know how hard wrapping anything is,i had a go with carbon fibre vynil wrap on interior pieces of my car-incredibly difficult process to get it looking professionally done.
I'm happy to see you in your own shop again. Keep killing it.
Thank you for sharing. Watched a ton of your vids. Tried wrapping my challenger hood. It went bad. Watched more. Did it again, and it looks great. Thank you again for sharing your experience.
It's nice seeing anybody pay such strong attention to detail
That came out great! I really like your teaching style. Awesome video.
Very good wrap bro. Through your videos I learned a lot and foiled my Mercedes Benz completely on my own. Have kept me to all the tips from you. Thank you very much for that. 1000,000 likes for you. Beautiful greetings from Germany Cologne👍👍👍👍👍👌👌👌👌thx a lot
Wowww. Amazing work. Blown away at the result from the attention to detail!
Your videos have been really useful. I managed to wrap the dashboard in my 81 Cressida and I'm thinking about doing something to the exterior as well.
Can you make a video on installing chrome on either the front or rear bumper? Preferably with that hexis
I have watched several wrap channels, to me yours is the best by far thank you
I watched the video so closely as I recognized a profesional at work. I doubt if I could that be that efficient and profesional.
Well done.
Like any special material you are working with in life always two measurements one cut :-) Thanks again enjoyed it and your sidekick assistant
Looks awesome, love to see completely done
Sooo much nicer and quieter! Great vid bro
Love the colour of the wrap.
Beautiful helper as well.
Yadda, yadda, yadda, let’s see the WRAP! Why, why, why! Yep, it’s shiny blue, could we, you get on with it, I’m 76 and don’t have a lot of time for a 10 part series on how to bag a car with plastic. Thaannkkk yyyooouuu!
The Grand Master, thanks for doing all this for us.
MAN U BROUGHT THEM RIMS BACK TO LIFE 💯
Great video. Lots of greats tips for doing chrome
Very clear on the detail aspects like the corner tips. Awesome work. Was hoping to see how the light scratches are removed. Other than that great job.
this was SOOOOOO satisfying to watch
liked and subscribed , fascinated watching you wrap a front wing , have to watch the rest now to see how the car looks , and the blokes fit that helps
Excellent job Exquisite finish extremely articulate and specifically highlighting each of your points, you got a great radio voice, it's duly noted your passion / Pride you put into your work shows in the finished product thank you! MacGyver PS you can never zoom in enough on the detail really really helps, for us mere mortals :-)
Thank you for sharing your ideas, God Bless you and your family,,,,Great Job
Thanks Christian, really enjoyed this video. I've been waiting for a chrome video for a while and it's great to get a real world understanding of how the film handles and the complexities around it. Looking forward to the day I'm experienced enough to try chrome.
Great lighting in this video Christian!
My video guy has a great setup
Hire that beauty queen full time! Wow! She can wrap my car any day!
I love chrome wraps!
I saw where the chrome was sitting at the front of the vehicle in the beginning and it stressed me out so much haha. Good work taking care of that panel man! Looking forward to seeing more of your videos.
Nothing beats a good paint job
Vinyl wrap has never been a replacement for a paint job guy... it's for people who want to change the look of their car without paying for a respray. It also protects the paint from scratches and UV damage. It has its place. Goodluck spraying a car blue chrome with paint.
vinyl wrap genius TY for the vid
good job lads looks slick
Você e sinistro man,sou seu fã, apesar não não entender suas exposições em inglês mas dá pra ter um noção da aplicação.
Parabéns pelo profissional que você é.!
The time spent wrapping just a fender is insane $$$$$$$. I'm a painter so I appreciate time time spent for a job well done
Very nice finishing , clean work.. 👍🏻😉
I have watched so many of your videos and am in the process of learning on my own car. Thank you for all your advice. I didnt know you had a video with my neice...Hi K
Awesome as usual!
CK Wraps, show you how to masterfully put the ugliest wrap on so beautifully. Great job.
Mate il say it in every video you do.
You clear your a pro at your job good on you and thank you for giving me an opportunity to become a professional car wrap I'm going to have to say you're the best there is mate as a teacher I wish I could come to your workshop I just not in the same country
Kickin’ video as always man! Been a long time since I got to watch. Got a 350Z now and I want to wrap it in Vvivid Nightshade. I thought of a funny joke last night- what 3M stands for....3M = 3Men . Takes 3 men/women to install it without lines or anything for a decent finish - two stretching and one laying it down 😆 lame joke but I was cracking myself up.
Best wrap vids mane..and great helper
Expert , at the highest level !
Awesome as always Christian!! really nice color also love the tutorials
Very informative, thank you! How far did you get into the engine bay area with the film?
Great quality work

That looks amazing
dude is amazingly talented 👌
Great video,Great content .And a great lesson In Patience
Funny coincidence Christian. I just got a request to use BLUE CHROME on a 1967 Blown Mustang. 500 wraps under my belt, and I've never done CHROME
The Master Wrapper !
Great work..... Amazing skill, thanks for sharing....
I haven't tried to tackle Chrome yet, but I will before too long.
Pretty cool to see more women take interest in the automotive custom world.
Pretty sure they brought her into add views. Look up Sarah n Tune. beautiful mechanic who takes wrecks or junk pile classic cars and fixes them up into cool rides. I'm SURE the fact she's pretty boosts her views because sex sells.
@@timmcshane6635 LOL she is good looking young lady but obviously she cannot speak! He asked her at least 3 questions in this video as he was looking down at the car and vinyl and she simply nodded and never spoke a word!
First....welcome back, Christian ! Beautiful chrome color, perfect car for that color. Great to see a female student there to help. Excellent wrap.
What is the name of Colour???
What is the name of student?
Amazing job!

Always a great video. This one was really informative and detailed, thank you Sir. One thing I hope for Your future is that you get your own place of work, where you own the shop and can take the time you really want show us all your true tallent and passion. 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
You ended up being short at the front corner. Nice save! You are a pro. Rookie mistake of her aiming for the tape (as enough) and not past it. Well done.
I appreciate the tutorial, but this definitely reminds me to leave it to the professionals..... Great Job.....
It make it look more chalengin then, it is.
@@miguelmagana7808 I agree with you! I just bought some of this Hexis chrome this week
I partially wrapped my airplane. The key to success for me was that I spent more time watching CZcams videos than I did wrapping. I did waste some wrap but it came out just perfect. Now I'm thinking about rewrapping the entire plane in chrome.
Holy crapy this video stressed me out! It's satisfying at the end though.
very good job and great color! :D Cant wait to see the fully wraped car!
I have installed this wrap on my Car, after 3 burning pieces ($300 dls lost 😢), I released heating the wrap from the inside part works, a month prior this tutorial would have helped me, anyways I can say my car looks awesome, it’s no perfect but I received compliments everyday, thanks to Christian, I learned by watching his videos
You did chrome by yourself
Or was it another vinyl material
hummer 669 same material, Promise, Hexis blue chrome
Nice job!
Thank you for these videos, I'm about to wrap my hd road king in green foil my question is have you ever used a hobby sealing iron?
I have a 2014 Chevy Cruze. Im wanting to wrap the inner door panel where the window switches are, and the grip where you grab to close the door. Is there a video you have that shows how to wrap recessed areas.
CK, what are your thoughts about teckwrap vinyls? I started today my very first own wrapping and it seemed to get broken quite easily. Could be that my technique was faulty also
Nice team mate 😁
Dope videos thanks! Quick question? I used rust oleum bed liner spray on my rear and front bumpers looks good but I want to wrap now. Will wrap bond well to the spray? Or should I sand. Thanks
Awesome install. I was wondering how the vinyl wraps hold up in the cold weather if a matte finish or gloss finish is better. I live in Northern New Hampshire USA and wr experience long cold winters with road salt. Any suggestions would be great. I want to attempt my first wrap on my own vehicle. Thanks
Very professional ck!.. keep kicking ass...I wish u could do my 96 impala ss
very very helpful video thank you
Don't know if I'm just lucky but IV always been good with this type of stuff It Was really easy to put on and looks like a god damn paint job thanks for this video btw
Wow, that's some badass work you do. Where did you get all of your little specialty tools from?
