- My 2024 Toyota Tacoma Trailhunter review - in the woods! I show you Tacoma Trailhunter lights outside and inside. Key features, specs, technology, and more! How do you like it?
Toyota Tacoma is all-new with Toyota's 2024 Tacoma. It comes in many different trims and configurations, including 2024 Tacoma Trailhunter. You can customize this one right from the factory with many upgrades, options, and accessories, including ARB.
Thanks for watching, LIKING, and SUBSCRIBING! Jeff - Auta a dopravní prostředky
What's the best 2024 Tacoma trim level? Does Trailhunter look better inside or out? Thanks for watching and Subscribing! Jeff
Trailhunter for me !
I honestly like the new taco over the tundra quite considerably and a cheaper price
Limited
lol i'm convinced this man is a serial killer, all these little song throwbacks are a dead giveaway apart from dozens of corpses he's sure to have buried in his backyard.
Agree. This will lead to an episode of "Forensic Files."
About 4 mins in…checked comments. Figured other people might’ve noticed this guy gives off a pretty strong “it puts the lotion in the basket” vibe.
** dead ringer for Gordon from Dodgeball too**
That's what the lake in background is for
He reminds me of that serial killer from Something About Mary
Another Ted Bundy.
If I had the money, Trailhunter would be the trim level I would choose, hands down. The overall design, inside & out, is amazing. Unfortunately, the new truck prices Toyota announced (even before the dealerships get their hands on them & add a bunch more accessories) is way outta my range. I’ll be happy to stick with my 2020 TRD Off Road!
I was waiting for the prices. The trailhunter and pro are the only two trims I liked, the prices are going to be like 65k and 75k after markups, taxes, extras etc. Not worth it in my opinion. I'm probably buying a 2023 instead.
@@467076 Juat wait be patient bro, lets wait until they're at the dealership and see the window sticker price.
@@467076idk about all that. That’s as much as a newer Raptor
I came for the truck but stayed for the singing lol.
Now THAT is awesome hahaha
I wish they would showcase a Black trailhunter with the bronze wheels, I think that would look really sharp. The build configurator can't get here fast enough.
So true
All great stuff Jeff, thanks for the up close views.
It’s definitely going to be a $60k midsize truck which is absolutely insane. I’ve got a 2022 trd off-road short bed 4x4 that has king 2.5’s and Camburg upper control arms, 33” KO2’s, full steel skid plates and rock sliders and it’s still going to be cheaper than this. Crazy…
80k with dealership markups
Brother, You have been sooo busy! 😊 Bless You and the Family
This truck looks so good. A real nipple twister if you’re asking me Jeff!
That's a beautiful truck!
Wow Jeff these trucks look amazing! I would definitely need an iforce max pro Tacoma or the trail hunter! Great video Jeff keep up the great work !
Thanks! I have even more Tacoma videos coming too
Toyota TRAILHUNTER looks EPIC!
I can’t wait spring, I want now love trail hunter 👍✅
Omg. Does this guy always sing random sings during these? I was cracking up! Subbed 😂
This looks incredible
you would be a good road-trip partner. keep making Tacoma videos man you keep my attention.
gorgeous , now im excited for the next gen 4runner w/ the trailhunter trim.
I love the exterior. I would definitely consider trading in my 2007 4Runner limited, and 2010 tundra limited just for this!
Love The Truck 😊
Any idea why Toyota does not put a central differential in partial 4WD trims? Only the Limited has a central diff, but it's full-time AWD. It would be nice to be able to be able to use all 4 wheels on non-slippery roads if need (for example, when towing or when there are patches of ice on tarmac) and disconnect the front when they are not needed
Good review
I’m buying this truck. It is beautiful
Good review.
Nice Jeff.
Yessss!!
I really wish I can have that high air intake to my 4Runner. I'm not a big fan of bulky snorkels aftermarket have. I need a very low profile high air intake. There is TJM but the intake is facing the windshield where all water and snow from the windshield will go in. Jeff, please do a video of flex after swaybar disconnect. Love to see come crazy flex, closer to Wrangler Rubicon with swaybar disconnect maybe? I love to have that on my 4Runner too, but looks like now the swaybar is at the back, a completely different one than previous gen.
This is the truck I would absolutely love to have
Hey Jeff, I really hope that Toyota considers making the Tacoma pro IsoDynamic seats optional. Not everyone wants them. I would rather take the extra legroom. Please let them know.
Beauty of a truck Jeff. The shame, we should all have a contest to see what dealership across the U.S. presents the highest market adjustment. I will start with $18,000.00 mark up since some of the TRD Toyotas in my area were $15k. That will definetly be out of bounds for most resonable buyers. Other than the price, the baby fuel tank, 18 gallons is not much of a trail hunt without taking up limited cargo room for fuel cans. Still, really nice truck.
there should be a soundtrack made for each of Jeff's videos
Great truck. Funny review.
Imagine that interior in brown leather. It would go so well with the bronze oxide exterior. I would pay extra for that.
The rear seat folding is the Gen4’s biggest flaw. Folding down the seats in my Gen3 makes for a great level storage platform, or a more comfortable platform for my dog on roadtrips.
Exactly 👍🏽 that’s why I’m not getting one. Really loved that for my pups
I thought the trailhunter bed was going to be a bit longer?
Hey Jeff any idea on when the configurator will go live on Toyota's website?
Hi no I haven’t heard sorry. I’ll try to find out for you since I know many others have asked
@@Toyotajeff No need to apologize.
The breaks into song are killing me😂😂😂😂. I do the same thing
It looks like they have a locking gas cap again if that what the gas button was for
I’m wondering if we can fit a 35-inch spare tire
Its nice for sure but I think they failed with the back seats. The older design would allow for a flat loading area when the back seats are down and this one does not hopefully they will fix that because having a flat area in the cab to haul things is nice to have.
I notice that one has a sunroof. I had read Toyota decided to drop that option on the Trail Hunter. I guess time will tell.
Is this trailhunter like the 3rd Gen Trail Edition?
i would get the roof rack but not the sport bar..need it out of the wa to install a better rack
This is great to see. But all these trucks to become more affordable. Great you slapped a bunch of tech in it, great we have a Trail hunter Trim. But how are more people to afford these trims?
I believe the fog lights are standard on this model
I want one....I want one...I want one....😂
70K for the trailhunter
@JohnPechulis-pn9kv that's why I said I want one..I didn't say I would buy one...😁😁😁😁😁
How tall is it with that suspension and wheels
This is nice … but I already know it’s going to be way over priced same as the trd pro .
I think it’ll be sr5 for me … or possibly a base model off road . That’s your best value . As cool as it is to have an onboard compressor, how many people are going to use it ? It’s all just added cost and something else to break too .
The Trail Hunter intrigues me.
Jeff- u think Toyota will make a 4Runner trailhunter edition??
I hope so! Not sure because they debuted trailhunter with the tundra last year and we haven’t seen that yet. Hopefully!!
I hope the trail hunter has different color choices for the interior
Hope so too , this one interior it’s uuuglyyyy !!
Word
For 80k with dealerships markups it can be all yours.
This would be a nice upgrade to my 06 prerunner... if I were made of money lol
I LOVE the all new Tacoma Trail Hunter truck. I hope Toyota sell thousands of them.
Dang those real off road suspension is putting to shame the new Colorado Trail Boss suspension
Isn't the trailboss like 38k???
@@CTR_Dan starts at 38K and with destination charges $39,500 starting, what does the 2024 Tacoma Trail Hunter start at?
Toyota is absolutely killing it right now, too bad they didn’t do an HD diesel.
Does the trail hunter sit above or below the TRD PRO?
Above
Toyota has said side by side. Pro is go fast trailhunter is go long
Has Toyota said anything about MSRP?
10 k over Msrp after dealers add cheap add-ons we don’t want.
@@zbassr2106 my dealer mentioned the Pro will have a 65K MSRP and the Trailhunter a 70K MSRP
Should’ve used the rear window that told down
Great Trucks all around from Toyota - But about 10k too much for all trim levels across the entire industry.
….and that doesn’t include the ridiculous dealer mark-ups. 🤨
Nice looking truck! But i need that kind of cash for my kids' college tuition.
So maybe I would have to wait awhile. 😢
I'll take one I guess
$54k Is what my local dealership has a 23 Tacoma TRD PRO listed for, I cannot see this being any less than $57k. Can I pay $55k for a Tacoma? Yes....will I? I don't know, its gonna be hard.
What do you guys think?
My dealer said it will be around $60k+, which I know dealers say a lot of things but this dealer is also right by Toyota's American headquarters and they tend to have accurate info. It's cool but I'm not spending that kind of money on a midsized truck. I can get a nicely equipped Tundra for that which is a way bigger, way more capable truck.
You didn’t say how much, Jeff?
Now between TRD off road vs Trailhunter 😅 actually I don't do much off road. Just 💚💚
Referencing the Tacoma crew cabs: a truck that's all cab with no box is similar to a cowboy that's all hat, with no cattle...
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤JEFF❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Trd pro for me black exterior with the red interior
Yes that combo looks amazing. I actually also like the white with black exterior trim and the red interior myself.👍🏽
You said "wait till you see the turn signals, you'll like those, we'll show you those later" you forgot to show us those.
Has anyone ever seen one of these on the street yet? Me either!😂
How much this car
How about the price
Very similar look to the Hilux available in the Asian markets.
Nobody really knows but how do you think this truck will do pulling close to 6000 lbs ? Suspension is supposed to be tuned to carry extra weight and the torque numbers are impressive. An extra 3" track width could help. On paper it sounds good but i nervous about getting that close to maximum rating
I’ll probably never tow with it unless it’s a couple of jet skis ~3000 lbs
Jeff...you remind me of the annoying version of Dennis Nedry. Cut the singing, my god. Once I muted, the vid was watchable, thanks for making it.
Yes it’s much more valuable to mute the entire video. Lol glad you hated me. Enjoy the weekend!!!
You must be a very angry person lol I thought it was pretty funny
Make it in dark blue and ill have one tomorrow
Need a 0-60
Ironically I need that and the MPGs to be modest to be happy lol
Im just here for the Karaoke
Can you drag race this and go to a track and race against a go-kart? Those are the crucial pieces of information I need when purchasing a truck.
filmed at calamigos ranch
Winner!!
I love this truck but god, how I hate the color of those seats. I wouldn't mind black with yellow stitching but that grey ain't doing it for me.

Not paying 60k forna midsized truck...its insanity what people pay for vehicles lol i paid just over 40 for my 4dr rubicon a few yrs ago and 32ish for a new crosstrek sport . Ill just keep both of these. I really like the taco but i just cant see it forbthe price
I want this model.
😋
It’s a cool trim but it won’t be the most popular. Not going up be lined up for a $60+k midsize truck.
The pro and trail hunter are going to be super expensive.
outside looks better.
Now tell your dealership to sell at msrp and not get greedy
U missed indicators
precio $$$$
Trying to be a ZR2
10k over Msrp after add one we don’t need or want...
would you just look at it!!!!
I don’t want the 18” rims
It would be the perfect truck if they offered it in a manual!
Toyota needs to refine the manual transmission and offer it in every vehicle. I’d like a tundra with a manual but they don’t offer that for no good reason and I can’t even get a trail hunter taco in a manual?!?! It’s stupid! If they announced a manual tundra and put the work into a refined transmission I bet people would beat their doors down for one! They may offer a manual in select tacos but they haven’t tried to make them better. My 2013 was notchy and rough from factory. Now with 170,000 miles on it I have issues with shift ability and I’ve replaced everything except the accumulator to fix it with no success! Drives like shit but has been well taken care of. So much for reliability! I’ve seen older Tacomas with 400,000 on the dash all original parts that shift way better than mine! I want a full size truck with a v8 and a manual! Since that’s not possible for new trucks I’ll have to get a garbage automatic! Since I have to get an auto I’ll be leaving Toyota because I’m not getting some stupid small engine with turbos that will get worse fuel mileage than a v8 when used like a truck!
Guy could sell OxyClean or Kaboom
Eventually put mute to finish watching...
Probably 70k
Let me guess. Gonna be about 60k
I’d say this is an accurate guess. And that’s MSRP.
@@Vec135 so closer to 70k out the door
Tacomas are only worth roughly $5,500 per cylinder.
Probably going to be 65k! I'll pass 😂
I can pay for a portable pump for $20
