- The best tutor in MTG is the demonic tutor.That card is quite expensiv. But still, I believe you can build good budget cEDH decks. And to make consistent and good EDH decks you need tutors.
In this video, I showcase my top 20 tutors that are valid in competitive commander. And all of them are also on a budget.

Important thing to note about Lim-Dul's Vault. In some cases it's actually alot better than Vampiric and even Demonic Tutor, namely when there's an Aven Mindcensor on the field. Completely negates Mindcensors effect since you don't actually search your library. You can also use it to set up Miracles easily (not really cEDH, but great in more casual decks)

Great video! I love all of these tutors. Glad to see Mausoleum Secrets getting some attention, and I really need to get some more copies of Muddle the Mixture. I should also use Lim-Dul's Vault more often. I know recording these videos is a lot of work scripting, voicing, and editing. So I fully understand that small mistakes slip through. Just thought I'd point out 14:30 where you said Eladamri's Call is a Simic tutor instead of Selesnya. Like I said, small mistake. Still a great video, keep it up!
Before I even start to proxy a new deck I ALWAYS consult your deck techs on the commander in question before I commit. You've saved me alot of money lol thank you sir. Great content, and pls keep it up!

Also, Reshape should be worth mentioning. It's great in Artifact decks: Sorcery UU X - As an additional cost, sacrifice an artifact. Search for an artifact with CMC X or less and put it onto the battlefield, then shuffle. Tutoring directly to battlefield is great!
I like Time of Need for Stax decks since it can grab Linvala, Gaddock Teeg, Elesh Norn, Thalia, Lavinia, Yisan, Kataki, and many more!
You could play that card in Najeela and tutor for Derevi. good card.

I've never heard of Long Term Plans. That'll be great to have while I have a Sensei's Divining Top or Sylvan Library in play to use to put the tutored card on the top.

A Tutor thtas a staple in Vintage and legacy Storm certainly needs some mentioning in EDH - Dark Petition. I quite like it in spell slinger lists. Upfront cost of 5 is pretty high but getting BBB back means u can easily cast Necro, Doomsday or Ad Nauseam afterwards.

I sometimes use long term plans in decks that also play top since you can than put the card on the top of your library. It's a great way to find omniscience in mono blue!
That is a very good use of long-term plans.
One tutor you didn't mention that I think is pretty good is Altar of Bone. It only finds creatures but you can play it in non-black decks. It's generally outclassed by all the good creature tutors green has but it can be useful in the same way Diabolic Intent is for decks that care about the GY.
It is definitely a secondary copy of Eldamirs call. And if you don't have black I do agree on playing altar of bone.

I feel like trinket mage deserves a mention aswell. By the way, I play muddle the mixture in every blue deck I have. Versatility is key. Allows you to grab Cyclonic Rift, Mana Drain etc. etc.

Love the videos, I just picked up more cards for Doomsday Breya and I have a question. What other combo should i run? I have paradox and the aforementioned doomsday but I feel that two is two few. I want one that doesn't use any doomsday or paradox scepter parts.
Do you have any insite in this?
Should I play Worldgeorger or branch out to Kark-klan Deathmantle?
I would rather recommend Angel's grace and ad nauseum. That will draw your entier deck. That combo is stronger then worldgeorger and krak-klan.

mausoleum secrets its basically a instant speed DT in the right deck, sadly it only searches for black cards but there are still lots of targets and alternatives to non-black possible targets. Nice.
For the right deck it is great! I like it in my grenzo doomsday deck.

What replacements would be good for imperial seal and Grim tutor in mono black? I'm building a gonti semi competitive and I can't afford those tutors (already have vampiric, demonic and the one that gives you BBB with spell mastery)
You have dimir house guard with transmuting on 4. And there is a mono-black card with CMC 3 with transmute. I would recommend those.

I think Chulane is a great intruder alarm deck. Also Kinnan is an option.

I think you have better commanders. I have seen someone play the nicol bolas as commander. But I am sceptic ATM.

That miracle time walk isn't that good if you draw it. Sure this is a good synergy. But grabbing windfall is stronger.

Did you change your mic? The audio sounds a bit weird. I don't know enough about the technical aspects to say what it is, it just seems off.
I have. I am testing some different gears. I am quite happy about it. But yes my voice sounds different from before with it. But I had a lot of problems with my previous one. This one is giving me some other smaller problems. But I think I can fix that. What your hearing is pooof sounds. Blowing sounds. You might see youtubers with something infront of thir mic. That is to stop the blowing sounds. I don't have that currently. I plan on getting one.

was selling cards at my last GP in December and dealer offered me 1$ Cdn for my foil Whir of Invention
they could have had it if they offered 2$
Unless you are in mono black beseech the queen is far worst than diabolic, cuse unless you have 100% certainty that you will cast beseech for 3 you will pay at least 4 (the price of diabolic), not only are you limited in your search but you also have to reveal what you get

5 Euros or Below. But what is budget differs from person to person. Others might say Below 3 Euros. Now summoners pact is about 5 Euros. But it is kinda dropping So I decided to include it.

I was thinking about it. But it is a bit restricted to specific decks. Tainted pact see more play then Demonic consultation.

Edric in the 99 in alot of decks is BASICALLY a tutor
Maybe i misunderstood, "you cant have more than one basic land" or did he mean under certian construction?
Tainted pact: If you exile two cards with the same name (excat same name) tainted pact will stop dagging. And you will grab that card. So if you exil a forest then a secondary forest. You will get that secondary forest in your hand. Now we don't want that. Therefore if your playing tainted pact. You shouldn't play any duplicates of basic lands with the same name. A snow-covered forest is a different name to forest btw.
Worse. The cards goes into exile. Gone for good. But it is worth it. You can use the card to destroy your entire deck. And win with laboratory maniac. Or find a combo card you just need. Or find force of will in instant speed. I have actually done that. I think I exiled 80 cards. had 17 left. Cast my force of will. Then won on my turn.
@@cedhtv im brand new to magic I build my first EDH deck my friend told me I need more tutors I have 2 (red white black) thats what brought me here. He told me to get vampiric tutor. (An 80$ card) i have demonic and diabilic tutor in the deck atm enlightened tutor may help im not too sure.
I think that is good enough. Don't think you need tainted pact.
@@cedhtv got to play test the deck last night it decided it didn't wakt tonwork at all I got all my high drops and 8 turns no mana. (38 in deck)

Liliana Vess is a bit expensive in mana. If your playing really grindy then I would play her.

Oh welcome. This is a card game with strategy and social interactions. It is a colletors card game also. It is really old. Google magic the gathering. Or google MTG arena.

No. Even if you get BBB you still have to pay 5 mana for it. It is a good budget alternative.
