- This is my personal list of favorite commanders and decks. I have played a lot of different EDH decks. I guess that you could name a deck and I can or have played that deck. But there are a few commanders that I keep coming back to. I definitely have a list of favorites.

I don't think so, yarok takes a bit of time to reach a winning spot, even with palinchron, Im saying this cuz one friend plays yarok in our playgroup, and he usually can't stand against my GF's kess deck or my prossh deck, even with that his deck looks pretty fun and have tons of value

I just traded some cards with a friend and i took also a sisay weatherlight captain and now you are making a full video for her, i'm so excited! I wanted to build her for fun putting in all the story of the weatherlight crew but i also want to play her in competitive, her toolbox playstile looks very cool (i already know i will always drop sisay turn 2 and fetching Lavinia turn 3 pretty much everytime xD)
The things is. You can tutor for a lot of cool 2 cost legendaries. Depending on the situation. You get to think tank that deck so much.
I have been playing a sisay citadel deck for a while now and it's been a blast
i gotta admit i really like your valakut/ad nauseum deck. I've seen your first iteration of the deck deck and the following too and it seems very original but still strong. I also like that it doesn't have an infinite combo wincon which is quite unique too.

I was kind of surprised by the lack of Thrasions+Tymna, since it's I guess the most used commander (pair). Well, good :3
You have a nice taste! I enjoy Urza, Golos and Narset in casual the most at the moment. Since they give me a chance to play powerful spells, sometimes without even knowing what is gonna happen, and that gives me a blast every time. Other decks get tuned and then they get boring quickly as you realize that they work really well.
Your point about enjoying losing with Sisay Toolbox really stuck out to me, and I agree with it. The last game I played I was on Zur. I decided to grab one card to turn off some combos of one player while I underestimated another player's large board state, which ended up winning. Being able to look back at all my options definitely shows I made the wrong call.
And now you can improve and become a stronger person.

I have a Sisay Weatherlight Captain deck (not cEDH, but still pretty strong). My win condition is to set up Brago and Aurelia the Warleader for infinite combats. I LOVE that deck. it can grind out or just suddenly do infinite combats out of nowhere. Funny thing, I ran Brago and a number of planeswalkers in it after I saw one of your old gameplay videos, which featured you blinking Dragon God and God Pharaoh to exile everyones hands. You inspired one of my alternate wins!
Hmmm that brago and Aurelia dosent sond to horrible. I think there are better things Sisay can do but that should work.
I've been helming Sisay as the leader of my five color experience deck. It's quite fun, not too serious, but I've struggled to assemble the Voltron of all five out at once with enough experience counters to do something interesting. Really looking forward to your primer on her!
What do you say in the last commander, Is the spirit and fun of commander, thats the idea of why play commander, why play cedh, why people must take a defeat like a learning and not an angry lose. Great video.

After paradox engine was banned. I've been playing Sisay Stax. I'm having a ton of fun using it at competitive tables. Amazing results and love to cripple combo decks
I commented on your old video about your organization method. At the time I questioned why or how you could manage as many cards as you had. I only have one four row binder myself at the time. I organized mine a bit different than you however. I kept everything separated by utility (removal, card draw, etc.). I’m onto four binders now. I’ve went from one page of commanders to five (room for 60 different commanders in total). While I am still working on my collection I can say it is comforting knowing you can build whatever deck you want. Especially when a new legend comes out. But I can also understand how you have your favorites. I certainly have commanders I gravitate towards. If I’m not testing out something new I have my fallback. The ones I know how to play way well and thoroughly enjoy.
Hehe. I need new binders soon actually. This game is huge. Then againe binders don't take up that much space.
Currently making a 7-8/10 optimized list similar to your thrassios and vial smasher list. Throwing in rashmi and mind’s dilation with wound reflection for some BIG bombs. Thanks for the inspiration!

Enjoyed the list. Little sad not to see your Najeela on it anywhere though :-( She is my all time favorite.
I really liked Najeela when she came. But that was mostly because she was all five-colored and a good commander in general. But when Sisay came I haven't played her at all.
Your Meren and Yuriko Doomsday decks are my favorite Commander decks I have atm (mostly have anyways, had to budget out a few cards).
Are they preforming well for you?
cEDH TV they are, I try to make sure I play them against my friends’ stronger decks so it’s not archenemy by turn 3 lol.

I would go Sisay. 3 mana that grows bigger is good. And I think you can fill that deck with good legendarys that have good stat line. Kaalia and Anje wont have green so they wont have mana dorks.
I love lands decks so the valacut ad naseum deck makes me happy haha

@@cedhtv Hey, while I've got your ear, I put together the najeela bloodcraft deck and I'm pretty sure hushbringer belongs in it. I cut destructive flow because it's three colors and works slowly, whereas blood moon and ruination act immediately. Do you think this is the correct decision? Are there any other new cards from Eldraine you think might be worth running? I'll be able to start testing it in my local tournaments soon, once I assemble a set of fetchlands.
My favorite cEDH commander is Tasigur. The Sultai colors give plenty of room for many different builds, but Tasigur focuses it down some. The downside, as opposed to Thrasios // Tymna decks, is not including white for certain cards (i.e. Angel's Grace, Silence), but I feel like it's plenty resilient.
Hey man, I love your videos and watch every time one comes out. It has inspired me to start brewing my own competitive decks but I am still new to the competitive side of EDH. I have been brewing Omnath, Locus of the Roil lately and was wondering why do people not mix the big combos? Like the color set of Temur let's you do Flash Hulk, Dramatic Scepter, and Food Chain but is it wise to run all of them or should you stick to just one? Why or why not?
Food chain and flash hulk are profitable for omnath because of his etb making him + FC + a cast from exile creature a win, and flash hulk is a backup for that. Dramatic scepter is less good because of the lack of a mana sink such as thrasios to be guaranteed to have on the field at all times

Gitrog is great, but i've swapped him out for Lord Windgrace, adding Gitrog as part of the 99. Also flipped the deck into and Ad Nauseum/Cadaverous Bloom combo deck. Much fun when it goes off.

@@Krajcik1964 ironically, cedh is a format that is so highly tuned that most people recommend choosing from a known list and watching a primer on how to pilot it. netdeck shaming makes no sense in cedh. there are entire discords for decks where everyone runs mostly the same cards and debate single slots. also, don't hate on net-decking, it's how most people get into the game.

the new "Dryad of Ilysian Grove" that gives all lands all basic land types would be good in the Valakut ad nauseam deck right? it makes valakut do more damage because all lands are mountains. all lands are also swamps if you want to use cabal coffers
I think it could be something for Golos Valakut. I am not sure about this build. I have never feelt the need for prismatic omen. and the CMC is 3 so it is a bit expensiv and would hurt our ad nauseam combo.
Mons how should I change the tymna and thrasios decklist you made it is very centred around getting paradox engine out. Also what do you think is the best cedh deck just wondering.
The current best cEDH deck now. I actually don't know. PST was the strongest with the machin. but now I don't know.
What should I change then?
Personally I love kaho, minamo historian. Utilizing a high tide shell similar to jace vryns prodagy it's done me really well at my lgs cedh group and at gps.

your sisay bolas deck and my najeela deck is one of my funniest and strongest decks. sisay isn´t that strong but i have 100% fun with it. I have build an gitrog deck, but it looks not really attractive for me.
I had a Vial/Thrasios deck for a while, but I wouldn't consider it "competitive," because my wincon was literally Biovisionary.
I want to see that primer XD

I actually have been thinking about that. King thief. I mean green has Compost and selvala the green and white one that makes everyone draw cards.

do i realy can wait for your sisay video ? anyway i must but so hyped i play sisay quiet a lot (not in cedh) (yes the playgroup is bored about it xD ) i tried different ways to win, the first i did was with godo then i just put bolas citadel and kept godo as a all in second plan but i always ended up finishing with him citadel fizzles a lot
right now i'm trying to do things with gerrard and saffi + some legendary sacrifice outlet and judith but sometimes use zur to fetch a goblin bombardment quiet efficent and godo is still there cause he don't take much place and is a great way to end games
i also think about some things with monogreen selvala + zur to fetch a pemmin's aura ( freed from real work 2) to inf mana and play all the legends in 1 turn or legacy weapon the entire board but not tried it so much
anyway sisay is just a perfect commander imo flavorwise and powerfull i love her always liked the first one but both are just awesome

She was my big fav untill Sisay. Najeela was just a awsome five-colored commander. but Sisay just what I totally like. And she is five-colored.

Kinda I guess. When Sisay came I haven't played a singel Najeela game.
I see that i play oko. But how about the Royal Scion. The can make plus 4 on atk. If you fetch Up first.
Oko can kill creatures and artifact that is something I kinda need. But he can also give me life witch is good during my citadel of bolas run. The royal scion wont help me kill creatures. The draw discard could be good for other decks. But is not something I need. I think dack fayden is better.
I love my Sisay deck. Hate that people get scared and make it arch enemy though. ;-;
I often run into that problem to. Not much you can do. I take it as a compliment that they are scard of my commander.

I proxy some of those. Like the really expensiv ones.
cEDH is very proxy friendly. Players want to play against the best decks with the best cards, not your wallet.

@@cedhtv Used Valakut years ago to help make a Chandra's Spitfire large, and it helped finish three opponents in a 4-player 60 card game. Ran mono-red, and it was amazing.
