One, was an ACE, no appearance needed, just a medical review. The examiner did call me with a few questions. The second was a virtual meeting. Both DBQ’s were completed and show on my VA profile as received. The increase was also assigned for C&P but it isn’t scheduled for over another month away. I guess I am missing the entire point of this video. You are showing areas of DBQs that need to be filled out for conditions (radiculopothy) and these boxes need to be checked and submitted by health care providers. Wouldn’t that actually be the “nexus?” Stating in the DBQ itself that the sciatica is directly related to the lower back?? Isn’t THAT a nexus?

Hello Dewayne, thank you sir for what you do. I have your book and have read it front to back many times! Excuse my ignorance but I cannot find the answer to my question in your book. Essentially, I have my intent to file in and am about to submit my fully developed claim for right shoulder direct service connection( i have all my solid medical evidence needed) AND I am also submitting for left shoulder disability due to overcompensation secondary to my right shoulder disability which as stated I am also applying for in the same claim.
1- can i submit both at the same time? 2-if so, and I am applying on line how would i list this secondary claim IF my right shoulder is not yet an approved service connected disability?
Thank you and if I missed it in your book, kindly let me know where in the book i can find guidance to this question sir?
    Best to you.

Your welcome and I see you came across an old video. Thanks for the support on the book. Yes, you can file for them at the same time. There is specific it wording you will need. I can't type all of it here but "I'm claiming left shoulder condition/pain/pain with reduced range of motion secondary to my non-service connected right shoulder condition/pain/pain/pain with reduced range of motion, which I'm claiming as direct service connection (at the same time). Please see all evidence, request a C & P exam for both conditions to obtain a medical opinion. Also, review the video I did on personal statements. Hope this helped. I just dropped a huge nugget and get luck with your claim. Want to be educated more: Also, don't forget to sign up for my next upcoming live webinar "How To Win Your VA Claim". 90% for left ankle, knee, hip, and back. Been 90% for 8-10 yrs. 3 yr ago I finally sought help from VA for depression and anxiety. After all the tests they diagnose me w/major depressive disorder and ADD. They said my pain level and being on opiates (va Prescribed) for extended periods of time have played a major role in my mental state. I was married 25 yrs and been separated now for 1 1/2 yrs. I have a buddy letter. But in my chart there are no notes that specifically states my pain worsens my depression. When I asked VA docs to note this in my chart they said they couldn’t but any person with common sense would know the pain makes it worse. … with 3 yrs of detailed records in VA system of mental health treatment and simultaneously being treated for severe pain. Will I have to get a nexus letter in your opinion?

Sounds like a secondary claim. Do you know the criteria for a secondary claim. What about the DBQ and nexus and do you know what makes both sufficient and you can complete a public DBQ and nexus.
