    I ordered the Fox, order processed and arrived in less than a week. Packaged well and all parts there. Installed today, the difference in steering is noticeable right away. Feels less loose. A bit of a hassle with u-clamps fitting over tie rod and into bracket but rest of job went well. All done on creeper in driveway. Thanks Jeremy

    Hi Jeremy, I had the same gas steering stabilizer installed in my 2021 E450 motorhome with 10k miles. Now, I get a constant pull to the driver side, even after a front wheel alignment. Any thoughts what could be causing the pull to the left?

    • @WeldtecDesigns

      The SS is not causing the drift, typically you need more caster on that side, Try that and let us know.

      Think of this as a shock for your steering reducing the feedback you will get through your steering wheel when driving down the road.

    • @jeremyjohnson8361
      @jeremyjohnson8361 Před 4 lety

      NO, Typically we do a weld on mount for the diesels because they have a larger oil pan that comes really close to the FOX shock.

    • @fredg8199
      @fredg8199 Před 4 lety

      Just grab one from an e450 school bus or ambulance..
      The holes are already drilled in your vehicles frame, you will need to tap the proper thread into place.
      (Location of pre drilled holes is passenger side, just where the stabilizer is close to the frame.

      @mr.bidnessman2469 Před 2 lety +3

      Cuts down on some of the slop back and forth in your steering. It can also mask other problems you might have so check you’re ball joints and tie rods first to see if they need to be replaced.

      Hey Frank,
      Due to FOX being on a global backorder, we decided to collab with Bilstein as another option with how popular our steering stabilizer kit is. We also offer this with our King shock. There are price differences as well. All of the shocks have had really good feedback from customers, but some customers prefer to keep with FOX or want a more affordable option such as Bilstein.
