    Selling the bumper separate with the availability of adding to it in the future is the way to go.

      Selling the bumper separete with the possibility to adding to it in the future it’s a great idea for us that can not afford the hole kit togheter

      @markallen4127 Před 3 lety +1

      Agreed. 2010 Chevy express 2500 here, and I can't swing $4000 all at once, but knowing I could add a swing out AFTER I switch to a larger tire would be ideal.

    I love the idea of offering the bumper components separately. That allows the user to add items as they can. It's a fine idea.

    My vote would be to have the rear bumper available in the 3 pieces. I really like that look, killer design. Does that bumper have class 3 hitch available or will it clear the factory/aftermarket class 3 hitch?

    • @jeremyjohnson8361
      @jeremyjohnson8361 Před 3 lety +1

      You can run any aftermarket hitch with this bumper. Hitch is not in the bumper.

    I think building the bumper with the option of adding the swingouts later would be ideal. It gives people the option of buying as they can afford the pieces. I am looking for a swivel base myself (1998 E150). And what length spacer would you recommend for the rear?

  • @ethanwills2493
    @ethanwills2493 Před rokem

    How about a center swivel on the box so that when you are tailgating you can still access the box without walking around the van?

  • @jalexb915
    @jalexb915 Před 2 lety

    Another great build and video guys! BTW my swivel seat without the base doesn't feel bad at all with the slight downward inclination when facing the back. Not bad at all ! 👍

    Good advice on getting the swivel seat vase, I never thought about that.
    Will 285/70-17's fit on your 3" lift or do you need the 6"?
    Also, do you recommend a rear end gear change when going with the 285's? I have a 2012 E350 with 5.4 and 225/75-16's which are 28" tall. The 285/70's are around 31.5" to 32" tall. I'm concerned about power loss with the taller tires. I occasionally tow a 16" trailer with my SxS on it but would like t tow my Jeep which weighs over 4K pounds.

      On my Chevy express, there is a fuse box under the drivers seat, so full swivel base isn't an option.
